Same here! IDK why but she really repulses me, especially her plastic face which is totally inert and immovable She was trying so hard to emote in Gunjan Saxena but in vain since she can hardly move her face for obvious reasons

Anyways she is still surviving and bagging cream projects just because she is riding the wave of 'Sridevi love campaign' which is working in her favor big time because she actually ends up getting many sympathy votes for obvious reasons...so you get the drift

I respect your opinion about Janhvi but there is a huge section of the audience that very much likes her (and same for the other girls). Dhadak was a clean theatrical hit and a massive success on satellite. Netflix India announced that Gunjan Saxena was their most watched drama film of 2020. Janhvi said in a recent interview that GS proved to many filmmakers that she can carry a film so most of her film offers now would be protagonist roles, which explains how she bagged Good Luck Jerry. She is a rising star and also fits well in the youthful space of Dostana 2/Roohi Afzana.

That being said, Ananya also has Shakun's next and Liger, Sara has Atrangi Re and Immortal Ashwatthama, and Tara has Tadap and Ek Villain 2 so it's not like Janhvi has many more film offers. Even a lesser known face like Mrunal has Jersey, Toofan, Aankh Micholi, Dhamaka, and Pippa. In fact, I'd even say that many of these films would be considered "bigger" films than Janhvi's so it's just a matter of perspective and what you consider a good film offer. Sometimes, some actors take up more work than others or are more ambitious and network better to get certain roles. There are so many factors that go into this process but once you are a known face, there will always be producers willing to work with you.

I am seriously so impressed by her lineup. When Sara and Janhvi both debuted I was so team Sara but Sara became a disappointment. I think Janhvi is smart, she has a good work ethic and she is not a bad actress. She might not be a great actress but she has room for growth. And especially when you work in good stories, have good directors you can only get better. Priyanka, Deepika, Kareena weren't amazing actors in first few years either.

I do think Ananya is smart as well. She cares about the right things. I feel like she will forge her own path in the industry. She seems like someone who wants to do edgy roles. We rarely have that in bollwyood so it will be cool to see.

I don't know who advises Sara or what she cares but but for now she chooses trash movies so I see her as the new Sonakshi. I think Tara is never going to make it though I would love for her to prove me wrong. She is pretty but no one really seems to care about her beauty like they cared about Aish's beauty once, or Kat's beauty. Even Shraddha was more popular as a pretty face. In current time I think Disha gets more coverage as the pretty girl than her. Tara's acting is also not so great that she can stand out based on that. Out of all the actresses she definitely will end up with the worst scripts if she keeps looking for commercial roles.

@Bold. That is one of the things I should stop doing where BW is concerned. Need to understand people don't have to be geniuses right out the door. They can grow and should be given room.
