That’s all there is to it . This has always been the case . This topic has been done to death . It happens everywhere in the world ... the privileged lot get lot more From life like success than they give or put effort into anything .
In this context ... any talented outsiders have to grab what they get and do their best and hope for good. When they do anything to get where want to ... let’s not shame them as they worked up inspite o things stacked heavily against them.
particularly fandom should stop painting their fav as saints if they reach stardom .
It’s a vicious place . No one comes out unscathed...more so for outsiders. We are talking here about immense fame and wealth, no one will ever play nice. You have to sell your soul to play the game and win ...lot of them don’t even very far.
U can go back to the time the last batch of newbies debuted and most were outsiders who survived. But what happened in the 2012 lot? Are u telling me that only one was worthy to survive while the rest were reduced to supporting roles/flowerpots?
Its not the same as before because there's a lot that goes on. There was a time, yes, when outsiders used to get equal opportunities. But not anymore. Otherwise why would any insider get multiple films after below average performances?
I am not painting my favourite as anything because I do not have any. I simply appreciate anyone's talent. Kiara is also an insider, like Ranveer, Kareena, Karishma, Vicky. But I still enjoy all of their work. Same way I have watched Tara since my childhood and know she has it in her to make it, she has learned her art and everything that goes with it like dancing and singing. But there is no equal opportunity given.
My take on this is very simple. Today if two debutants, same gender, but one is an insider and the other is an outsider, debut in the same film...both should get good enough roles to showcase their talent. Neither's work script wise should be sabotaged. And if both are equally bad, then why is the insider getting more work than the outsider?
Them being priviledged is not the problem, but them getting chances over others who are much better but unfortunately are outsiders is what's wrong.
