Probably internet has taken place of television.

Also young generation of guys majority previously used to be hooked on sports, but nowadays it is mostly social media, mobile/video games and other internet apps like tiktoks and so on.

So amount of boys of certain age following sports is becoming low. Plus girls percentage were always low.

Also I don't think real people who actually follow sports and aren't bunch of social media pansy SJWs actually would boycott because of the recent "calling Tom Brady the greatest of all time" is racist bullshit.

But than again many dumbasses supported Serena Williams during her utter nonsense rant, just because she is a black woman.

Honestly, didn't know the sport was famous in other countries. Thought it was just limited to US.
