The show is revolving around Kaira and their journey after Naksh left . Its been around 5 years now. you say you are not invested in Kaira so you are Ok with Kartik pairing with Seerat , so why were you watching the show until now and what about the other 99.9% people who were watching the show for Kaira only and were so attached ?

I know its important to move on after someone passes away, but makers have always shown Kartik differently . He didn’t move on when Naira was assumed dead last time, he married Vedika under pressure but still loved Naira. So this time it would be weird if he falls for Seerat the same way he did for Naira , as that his journey of loving Naira was something entirely different . He keenly romancing with a look alike of Naira who is almost half his age , dont you think it will further butcher already severely damaged character arc of Kartik ?

And if at all they go that path, it will mean the story was only about the post marriage Kartik and his egocentric role of Naira’s husband, who once kicked her out of house, also once questioned her loyalty, made her mum of his two kids and when the wife passed away he simply moved on to a look alike, it was that simple for him??

May be they are planning to show the cringeworthy cliche way, he marrying Seerat for his kids , as Kairav is so much affected by her already, and then he will fall in love with her . But that will also take the main storyline of the whole show which initially revolved around Akshara and then around Akshara’s daughter ‘Naira’.

Uh are you watching the same show? Otherwise you would know the person is making assumptions based on historical trends seen throughout the show. Specially when u are talking about love and marriage. But here along with assumptions, conclusion is already given by you Kaira fans. First of all the story needs to unfold more before u reach to a conclusion. We need to see how Kartik is getting involved with Sirat. The problem is that fans are not giving a chance to them and comparing vedika's history. However there is a vast difference between Vedika and Sirat in terms of everything. Can u guys just chill and wait for the story to unfold more? Lol

They wouldnt have shown a 17 years bcoz 18 is a legal age lol. Anyways, u should go and ask these questions to those many couples who are living happily inspite of their huge gap. Dont go too far, just take a look to the bollywood celebs. You will get ur answer. I can say that its complicated for a 21 year old to be a mother of two and marry late 30s man. But i wouldnt say its impossible. It just depends on people's choice. If your choice is not that, u cannot comment on all the people in this world. Choices can be different for different people. Whats creepy for you is not creepy for others. And lastly unless you are in someone else's shoes, its wrong to be so judgemental. Just a piece of advice.

That she lives with her grandma, she hated her mother because when she was a kid, she got married to her lover. Her dad died because of her mother.

She wants to do boxing, it’s her passion and her dream. But her mum and her step dad, won’t let her, they were getting her fixed unwanted marriage.

she tells them he saved her from getting fixed, she made up a story kairav is her son.

She wants to apologise to him, for upsetting him, now she’s understands why karthik and kairav think she’s naira, naira is karthiks late wife and kairavs mother.

she will stay with them as a guest, a friend to karthik and kairav.

karthik tells sirat that kairav is interested in boxing aswell, he asked can she teach him boxing skills and she agrees.

Karthik tells gayu sirat is a look a like of naira, he introduces gayu to sirat and tells her gayu is nairas elder sister.
After naira passed away, she’s in trauma, still thinks naira is alive.

Gayu and sirat get on well.

sirat apologies to kairav and tells him that karthik told her, he wants to become a boxer and tells him she’ll teach him.

karthik tells dadi that kairav wants to do boxing and asked sirat to teach him. Dadi is pleased.

she wants karthik to get married to sirat.

She sees Rhea is pretending a mother to akshara, using her so she is only interested to get married to karthik only and to rule the family and dance to

Her tunes. Dadi heard Rhea scolding at kairav for mentioning about naira.

Dadi slaps her, ur only interested getting married to karthik only.

She will not accept her, sureka hears dadi telling her neice off, ask why she’s talking to

Her Like that, dadi tells her, she won’t let rhea be karthik wife.

she tells her, ur neice is only interested in karthik only.

I seen her, she’s pretending being aksharas mother, heard her scolding at kairav for mentioning about naira. She’s scared kairav.

seruka says karthik should move on and forget naira.

dadi says no, karthik will not forget naira, even kairav can’t forget naira aswell. He misses her a lot.

Dadi tells swarna and sureka while i wasn’t here, u both deciding to get karthik married again, without her consent, swarna tells her, she didn’t agree, that sureka brought her to their house to stay and wants her neice to get married to karthik , akshara needs a mother, karthik gets shocked, and ask sureka is it true, she said yes, he says why?, u been hiding this from me, I can’t forget naira, even kairav can’t forget naira. After what I’ve heard today about ur neice and her true colours and I will not marry Rhea. I wont her ruin my life and family’s life.

Dadi says now you’ll leave from our house, she leaves.

he says to dadi thank you for saving our family.

swarnas i didn’t agree, she was forcing me and mannish to talk about it with you, she didn’t talk about it and she agrees.

dadi says I see kairav bonding with sirat, she’s made him happy, i think she’s right woman for our family, it’s up to you, this time I’m not forcing u to getting married again, kartik says I agree with you, she’s friendly, she’ll be happy with us. She tells them her mother doesn’t care about her, she cheated with her dad and got married to him. He passed away because of her mother.

her mum wanted her to get married, so she and her husband sell the house off.

Kairav saved her.

dadi says ring sirats grand mother here and she can live with us.

Sirats grand mother arrives at geonka villa, dadi tells she wants sirat to get married to karthik, he told me that kairav saved her from getting fixed, she wants to do boxing Passion and it’s her dream.

even kairav is interested in boxing, it’s his dream, karthik has asked sirat to train kairav, I agree with him, she will get along with kairav and his sister akshara needs her mother and sirats grand mother says even i want her to get married to karthik and she’ll be be happy and gets peaceful in her life.

we want you to move in our house and live with us.

Depends on individual perspectives I guess. If looked frm fan pov, ppl might not like it.

To be honest, sirat as a new char is fresh. Was bored of same thing n makers had made naira quite redundant. Atleast, its something new. Yesterday's epi was really gud n shivin still have that chemistry..

Also, Der is nothing wrong in falling in love again. If Kartik wud fall just for d face, then it wud seem like its a disrespect. If sum1 falls eventually, bcos they genuinely like the person, there's nothing wrong in it.

What I feel weird is d age gap, that too when specifically mentioned any it in epis. But then, there r ppl like that. Personally, that didn't really is something I liked. Had she been shown age close to naira, it wud have been better.

Eternal love n all is great. But if life gives a chance to move on for themselves, in today's time, there's nothing wrong in it. Maybe many don't like it is bcos they depict that way. Many wud see friends sitcom n think Ross n Rachel were meant to be together, even when both had married divorced n what else.. not comparing here, but ya, eod, its just d perspectives.

Ps. What else they cud show, either kaira had to get a closure or they had to bring in something extreme. The latter worked, atleast for sometime it'll create d hype that makers needed. And who knows, they might turn her into naira later. They seem to have kept it open ended. Better to just watch wid d flow, if u lyk watching or just move on from it eod..

No thanks, I don't need unwarranted advice lol - please apply it to yourself first. You're picking and choosing what you want to say and repeatedly saying the same things - 1. Just because someone doesn't like Sirat and Karthik's pairing they're not automatically a Kaira fan. An assumption. 2. I didn't use the word creepy once. 3. The age gap isn't necessarily the problem - it's again the CONTEXT. But age does matter and feel free to disagree but saying it doesn't is super unrealistic imo. Btw, a judgment isn't always a bad thing.

Another reason that people don't like their pairing is the characterization. Sirat's personality right now is clashing with Karthik's super hard. It just doesn't look or seem compatible currently. She is coming across very brash, over the top, and immature and Karthik as mellow, traumatized (which I don't blame him for). The immaturity of Sirat makes her age stand out like a sore thumb. Sometimes opposite personalities work together - in this instance, I for one don't think it is. The overdone comedic scenes are super cringe as well. Again, personalities of characters also determine chemistry, not just how they appear standing together side by side.

Also, do you really want Sirat, who has her own shit to deal with and figure out - to be with Karthik and his IMMENSE emotional baggage? Not to mention the Goenkas and their bs?

Its okay if u dont want my advice. And i am actually no one to give you advice. Now a days people dont like anything free lol. So i take back my advice. You can stick to your opinion and i will stick to mine. Anyways, nothing is going to happen as per your or my wish. Its all what cvs decide. So far i am liking the new story and can accept Sirat and Kartik as a couple. But, if u really dislike them so much why do u even bother to watch it? In future it will be more of Sirat and Kartik only which is not as per ur liking. Anyways, I am done commenting and replying and wont be answering again. I am tired of this discussion. Bye. Sirat and Karthik comedy scenes were funny and cute but chemistry is only slowly developing and can be improved dont know why some members wont accept a different opinion some people like certain pair or character while others wont and thats okay but that doesn’t mean you have to insult the pair or character you dont like ..also please dont be rude to people who have a different opinion lets avoid fights..everyone has freedom of opinion ..maybe you can ignore them instead.

Personally i like Shivangi’s performace as Sirat but her accent can be be more polished and better she looks cute but hairstyle can be better

People were okay with Prerna Bajaj,mr Walia and Bani..tv has shown lots of older guy and younger girl pair before too
