Hey Janki, beautiful analysis as always!đ
Today's episode has me confused too.. my tilt is a little on anti virat side.
He has been lacking conviction for a pretty long time now. Yes, you are right that he has actually stood up for her only when his own decision was in question. But on other instances the girl has been left too alone and helpless many a times.
I agree that he's a different person while playing 2 different roles of his life.. it happens with many people and it's quite natural and understandable. But but.. his "conflict phobia" makes him a "people pleaser" and thats a problem. I don't want him to reprimand PP or anything.. but I really want him to take a stand now which has been long due.
I don't know if it's due to lack of some monologue or what, but we really need to know what goes on in his mind.. yeah we can interpret things through his expressions and body language etc.. but that too is prone to be misconstrued.. it really needs to be put in words by the writers through a monologue or maybe through Sunny since he's coming back tomorrow đ€Ș (hope he doesn't create any new facade) coz I personally don't understand these jalebis all the time.
The first scene was nice, it did show how comfortable they are with each other. Sai truly brings out the most carefree and happiest version in him. He actually can be himself with her, no filters needed.. that too brings out so much of contrast between the two women.
I agree, Sai gave in too easily. I hated him to bring up the dreaded "Z" word again. But him saying " muje acha lagega" was enough to convince her.. the reason being maybe the idea that he genuinely cares for her/ loves her instilled by Ashwini was at the back of her head. Moreover, she can do anything for people she respects and loves. Virat is definitely one of them, if not love yet, she definitely respects him.
The balcony scene was definitely unnecessary and uncalled for in my opinion. Even if he has NO feelings left for PP and was quite indifferent, I simply see no reason for providing so much explanation to her and saying that all other females were at par with Sai for him was annoying, even though if it was just to give an ego boost or consolation to the woman standing next to him.. but again I really don't know what goes on in the man's mind.
Coming to the suitcase ka case, here I'd give virat the benefit of doubt to some extent. He did politely yet clearly refuse the vahini for sightseeing and the next moment she gave out her clear intentions too, that she's nothing to do with Samrat. But then his nod and "hmm" werre too annoying.. here I'd say that Sai jumped the gun too fast, she reacted and rightly so, as anyone in that position would get annoyed. But again, I really wanted to know what was coming after the "hmm".
Even I didn't find him asking her to stay quite to be wrong, the reason I felt was he didn't want her to blurt out that she was going too (top secret jo hai)đ€Șđ
Yes him forcibly stopping her to stay back in the room was soo wrong.. what all PP said in order to stop her was just like "chor ki dadhi me tinka" just like she said the previous day in the hall to Ashwini, the whole nazar rakhna thing! Her main purpose was just to show Sai that " look I'm going on a honeymoon with your husband" and she did succeed in pressing the wrong wife buttons.
At first I felt bad for virat when Sai said that he's nothing to her. But then I think the rude awakening was important for him to just stand up now.. let's see how it continues tomorrow and hope it doesđ
