I agree there is some drama planned around the ID. I can think of two options

Option 1 : Sai will forget or lose her ID so it will not be possible for her to join. Virat will refuse to go without her and will postpone the trip. Pakhi will get irritated and will cancel the trip.

Option 2 : Virat will ask Sai to join them later . Sai will be irritated with the above suggestion and will refuse to join them. There will be some confrontation between all three and Pakhi might cancel the trip or we might see Virat and Pakhi going together.

I like the fruit custard suggestion, Virat should go alone taking the signed papers. This short trip might do wonders for the Sairat relationship

I think if we go by option 3...by the time Virat is back, Sai in hostel, Pakhi at her Maika, Ashwini at her mom's place. Mohit and Karishma job dundke, go out...Only Omi, Ninad and Kaku..and Sonali in kitchen making some toxic tea..knowledge transfer from Pakhi before leaving.
