Defo about the dad loving them it is very evident - I do like him in a weird way. ALSO PUTTTUUUUUUU 🤣🤣 my guy and that phone NGL reminds me of my phone I always record stuff in the family and send/store it as blackmail material for later 😆

The actresses are amazing- the accent Haryanvi right? Bang on never drop their characters ever. I also like the way they compliment each other. One is more thoughtful but romantic - and other rash but more pragmatic about life. Perfect twins if you ask me.

I haven't watched that scene yet (can't bring myself to watch all of it in one go...need to space it out) but saw that in your review. Yes, they found themselves in each other and fought the world, and literally chose to die together (baby be damned, LMAO). I "enjoy" tragic endings (enjoy's the wrong word but you know what I mean) bc of this kind of angst. It's not what I wanted for Vani, don't get me wrong...but one day I might be able to look back on this as a kind of "oh okay, they were star-crossed lovers" kind of thing. Of course, my own canon will always be that they lived a long and happy life together with nothing to separate them...but yeah. Maybe one day I'll appreciate this slightly more than I can right now. And that too only bc of SharBhi/Vani. They gave us those feels.

There's this quality and vibe to the show that kinda brings in realism. It's the very small details to me ...that are not there in big shows. The girls room is shown messy..yk with stuff on dresser etc. As you said, lived it. It's not a hotel room like a lot of serials show!!

Even vani's room looked and felt like a hotel room.

Hell, I can't even properly hate the villian🤣..how the hell would i hate their dad. He has his issues but he clearly loves his daughters and most importantly for me.. listens to them and tries to understand their pov!!

@both bolds - agreed. I found the whole thing a kind of "win" tbh, given what I was fearing would happen (one of them dies and the other lives) but there's a cyclical tragic 'beauty' to it - in Satyug they died together in proximity but apart in spirit, and in Kalyug, they chose to die together, as one. Qayamat se qayamat tak. And Veer fulfilled his promise of being with her wherever she would be, right until the end. And yeah, the bit I watched that pinched the most was Bani saying that as long as they were together, this was a win not a loss. Their love was above all else for her as well by the end (and here I'm crying again). Phew. Anyway. I'm sure we can analyse this in more detail another day if we want when we're not so raw, but as endings go, it was a cheap one but not as bad as I feared. So...small mercies.

They literally came a full circle....from killing him to dying with him. And the way she goes that it's a win if they are together living or dying!!!

The whole scene had some really good dialogues..i want to analyse the scene with you guys too but defo not now!! Too sad about it!!!

Space it out for sure- I might watch it again at some point but not right now. I think the fact that this all had the Aakeshwari BGM amplified everything even more. Also can I say *huma gets emotional* they lived dil ibaadat didn't they - especially these lyrics:
