I have watched Bigg boss for the past 6 seasons, and in my opinion this has been the most weirdest season ever!
A lot of things have been all over the place! It seems like makers themselves are confused what to do or what to not, what to show or what to not, who to save or who to not!!
Firstly there was this seniors concept. Okay fine, it wasn’t a bad concept tbh but ya it was kinda unfair to the current set of contestants, as the three seniors have been the winner/runner-up of their seasons and more experience and ofc they had the upper hand to entertain the viewers. I get the purpose of makers to bring them was for trp, but it had minimal contribution to trp and thats cause ppl wanted to see the new ones as its a new season, the three seniors alone cant run the entire show. Only Nikki among the contestants was contributing in the first week.
And then comes a some weird/unfair/doesn’t make sense nominations/evictions process. Though this issue was fixed in the second half, the first half in the show, audience vote was just treated as if some points contestants earn for task kind and had no contribution on who will get evicted.First week someone gets evicted based on seniors decision. Second week someone gets evicted by being in bottom 3 and then seniors and housemates choose who should go. Third week again someone gets evicted based on housemates vote, if housemate guess right, only one evicted else both evicted like seriously?!
Suddenly in this season contestants can go out of the house and come in whenever they want to.
The most strangest eviction/walk-out was Manu. That had no explanation.What happened to Manu?! Some were evicted, some walked out some came back, but how about Manu?! At least they should have let viewers know that Manu isnt coming back for his injury or whatever reason they wanna make up.
Challengers concept was probably the only thing that helped the show, but that did take some time to pick up. Now only Rakhi is left among the challengers, if Arshi’s eviction news is true. Ppl started talking about the show, makers got the buzz they wanted through Rakhi and Arshi.
This season has been hella confusing. It gets me like 🤔 Cause of these confusions and khichidi I didnt enjoy this season at all, in s12 though it was considered the most flop season at least there was some consistency but here this season everything is all over the place.
And Salman Khan the host. It seems he gives his feedback a week late. He bashes a contestant a week later he/she does wrong. But on the wkw of that week he praises them, next week he scolds them for last week.
This is probably the first season where my favs kept on changing, and also my like/dislike towards contestants. These current contestants I feel r better person than the ones in last season, but it seems that the show’s theme wasn’t meant for them this time.
First I liked Eijaz, cause I feel he was the one who was trying and I liked his personality initially, but kinda didnt like him in between. Then soon after 3-4 days my fav changed to Nishant till he got evicted. I liked Jasmin but then after a week, her u-turn in personality made me stop rooting for her. Then I decided to root for Kavita till she walked out. For some time, I didnt root for anyone. Liked Abhinav so thought probably he’s worth rooting for, but then these days I find Nikki and Aly more likeable. Funny thing is I disliked these two a lot intiailly but now these two r the ones I like the most. These two seemed to be the most sane ones this week.
And my like/dislike for each contestants keep changing. I was starting to like Arshi but then she started making unecessary comments. Rahul I m not that fond of him but I kinda liked how he handled the Rakhi matter well. Ruby is the obvious winner n do like her but sometimes she is too much too.
I feel more than contestants its makers who kinda screwed up things this season, they seem so confused on who to bring or who not to bring, only experiment that worked for them was challengers concept due to the extension. The makers got lucky that KKK isnt airing this year if not this season would have ended earlier.
