Whataboutery â discussions are so hard when this technique is used... how about this. You answer my question and Iâll respond to yours.
If youâre not reading comments like Abhinav deserves it â itâs Karma â he encouraged it to get footage (implying he asked for it) then weâre not reading the same forum.
I donât care about Rubina or Abhinav being the shittiest people that ever walked this earth. They very well could be... and still this wouldnât be right.
I was called a racist for asking Why is personal space in India such a novice issue. I can only tell you my experience and based on that what I see I kinda feel it is sad what Iâm seeing.
It wasnât intended to be whataboutery - it was intended to draw a parallel. For me - such statements shouldnât be made by any of the contestants - because this is BB - and as BBâs history has proven, one personâs treasure is anotherâs trash and vice versa. Unless itâs a Swami Om throwing his pee - which Iâm guessing everyone would agree is not entertainment.
People commenting on Rubinaâs reaction and what sheâs saying to and about Rakhi/the audience is hardly people victim blaming Abhinav. Rubina absolutely does, IMO, have a penchant for creating dramatic scenes in her adarsh bahu mode. Doesnât mean Iâm saying sheâs not entitled to say something to Rakhi.
I havenât read what youâve said above - I can only speak for myself, and I donât believe in victim-blaming. Iâve said - multiple times - that Rakhi needs to be told off and told to back off.
I donât see why people pointing out the kappalâs hypocrisy alongside saying Rakhi is wrong 100%, is an issue or victim-blaming. The same Abhinav and Rubina that vilified Eijaz for a hi5 an armâs length away, were repeatedly dashing into Rahulâs personal space (and Allyâs too for Abhinav), and even pushed him - multiple times.
Them being pathologically lying hypocrites, out to pull others down, and Rakhi being wrong in what she did, are not mutually exclusive IMO.
