I don’t think makers thought this hard but I try to put myself in her shoes and respond. Preeti’s character defining moment was the fan scene with Kusum. She doesn’t think of herself as an equal in any relationship. There is a lot of her that believes in giving. The way Kushala worded how she has to samarpit herself , somewhere deep down she is doing this as a duty. I don’t think they have explored her own physical or intimacy needs just yet. It is natural for her to want intimacy but at this time there are two things at play: one is her belief that this is expected of a good wife and two her belief that she is unworthy of love. Somewhere she is enjoying this sudden rush of emotions and importance , that were long suppressed. So it’s natural that she wants to jet speed and cement her relationship as well as enjoy it. But part of me feels that deep down it is coming from a sense of piety and not her own physical needs. It would be beautiful if they didn’t rush or discuss that though both of them feel this is the natural next step they should wait it out. The issue is they’re focused more on KTs baggage (yet another time) than Preeti’s. I hope they focus on her abuse this time

I really hope they address Preeti’s deep-rooted, suppressed intimacy issue as well as her past trauma. It would really make for an interesting track. It’s time they focus on Preeti’s trauma now.. KT’s done and he’s gotten closure.. It’s times KT steps up and heals Preeti’s trauma.
