What's your obsession with "half naked girls"? So "half naked boys" is ok but it is not ok with girls? Reeks of sexism.
Also, there is nothing wrong with showing legs, arms, midriff and a bit of cleavage. They are not private parts. We need to normalize such dressing so that they will not think it's a big deal.
What's more distressing is how much violence, homophobia, religious intolerance and misogyny is normalized. That's a lot more harmful for children. If you really care for them, that's what you should be talking about. Not "half naked girls"
We have all grown up watching "Chumma Jumma" ,"Sexy sexy mujhe log bole" and "Choli ke peeche kya hai". I even used to dance on these songs as a kid.
When I taught in a school for a few months, 8-12 year olds used to dance "Sheela ki jawani", "Chikni chameli" etc and the lyrics of those item songs are so gross.
But we all turned out okay, so as much as this song is so weirdly shot, it's not a bad influence on children. If you think the graphics is too much, then maybe just play it on Spotify or without video.

I don't think it is appropriate for kids but we all have our own thresholds. It's not exactly a harmful video even if they do watch it and they're not gonna know that it's inappropriate for their age either. But why are you making them watch bollywood songs? Why don't you make them watch Harry Potter or Toy Story or Despicable Me or something like that?! đ¤
They love beegey beegey raaton Mein đ

Iâve watched every episode of Daniel Tiger 17 times đ
Yeh toh inappropriate hai.
But tell me about the struggle. It is real struggle to find Hindi song which isnât suggestive or age appropriate.
My daughter likes to dance jump on her mini trampoline with Hindi dance songs.
HNYâs stage dance melody is her favorite. đ And then some other catchy dance songs which I can put on for her. Recently she came across Maahi Ve and she liked it. Then rolled on Its the time to disco, I let her continue coz well itâs a dance number. But in the middle during the music part, girls are all over SRK, I was caught by surprise coz well I donât remember this song now and then my daughter be like why are aunties doing that to uncle. đł Kya bolu me ab? Now we have decided to first watch the song and then decide whether itâs ok to play for her or not.
Also, she got fond of itâs the time to disco. So she requests to put that on. đ¤ˇââď¸ When I deny she has all the questions and a puppy face.

Yes the struggle is real now after my cousin lecture my sister lol
Before we just put on any song. I thought the only thing that scared them was monsters in movies. I never thought I had to worry about Bollywood movies đ My mom watches Saas Bahu serials with them. I was gonna watch days of our lives with them đ¤Ł
The more important question is, should you watch these songs? As youâre a kid yourself đ

Your nieces are still young. Mine is 3.5 years old. She has all the questions and then she remembers too. Very impressionable age. All we watch when she is around is -- Kapil show, KBC and Taarak Mehta. She hasn't picked up Hindi yet so for now we are good but won't be long enough before she starts understanding it. I will have to invent a new lingo to talk to my husband. đ¤
