Episode 98- Anirudh sent Bondita home.

I will only talk about Anirudh in this post.The way Anirudh talked to Bondita was too harsh.The words he used for Bondita made me angry. He forgot that he was talking to an 11 year old.I would never justify this action of his, but I could understand why he behaved like that.

What I have written below is completely my take on Anirudh's behaviour in this entire episode & again I am not trying to justify him at all.

Anirudh brought Bondita to RC mansion after marrying her.From the moment he entered the house, he had been taunted for this action of his in one way or another.He was feeling guilty for shuttering the hope of the woman he felt he loved (I always felt that Anirudh made an image of Saudamini in his mind in his own way,he loved that image of hers,not the real Saudamini).But he never refused to take Bondita's responsibility even when Binoy tried to manipulate him.He chose his responsibility over his love.That was the indication that he didn't want to continue the relationship with Mini in a romantic way anymore.He might have took Binoy's words as challenge at that moment of arguement, but Bondita was never a way of winning challenge for him.His admiration & care towards Bondita was always pure & genuine (nothing can change my view on this).That's why Anirudh grew a pure emotional bond/attachment with Bondita without even realizing.

Also, Bondita was the 'Chitthiwali ladki', someone Anirudh admired truly.His admiration was so high that he called her 'Lajawab' in front of Saudamini, the woman he supposed to love.The importance of the letter girl in his life could be felt when Anirudh got to know that Bondita was illiterate.First question he asked was 'Why did you lie to me about being that letter girl?'. He put her in a pedestal. But he forgot that Bondita was just a kid. One may ask if Anirudh wanted to use Bondita as a way of bringing change in society.Answer is NO.Anirudh wanted Bondita as his companion in that journey.

Brijwasi conned the villagers, one of the things Anirudh hated.Mini also used this opportunity to fake her blindness.Though Anirudh already friendzoned Mini, still she held an important place in his life as a childhood friend.When he found that Bondita was helping Brijwasi, his trust shattered.He felt betrayed.Then sufferings of kaka & Mini made him angry.To him, Bondita was one of the reasons of Brijwasi's success.He remembered that he asked Bondita if she met Brijwasi, which Bondita outrightly denied.The girl he had immense faith on,the girl he put on a pedestal betrayed him.That anger, that feeling of getting betrayed clouded Anirudh's mind, stopped him from thinking straight.He felt what everyone was telling from the beginning regarding he taking responsibility of Bondita was true.He fought with everyone to keep Bondita in RC mansion,to provide her everything she deserves but this one action of Bondita made him feel worthless.He felt he was worthy of those taunts.For a 22 year old emotional boy, all these feelings were way too much to handle.& all these things reflected in the letter he wrote to Sumati.Trust/ faith is the pillar of any relationship, according to Anirudh,Bondita broke that.He felt that he held no importance in Bondita's life & it affected him.His unknown emotions in heart & his mind were having a battle.His shivering hands were the sign of this battle.An unknown restlessness & sadness was eating him up already.He didn't realize that he was not sending Bondita away, he was sending a part of him away from himself.This was the start of Anirudh's journey of realizing Bondita's place in his life.

Then comes the scene where Bondita came to meet Anirudh for the last time in study.Anirudh didn't want to talk to her because her presence was reminding him that he was a failure like I explained above.But he stayed there due to Bondita's request & let her do whatever she wanted at that time.Why he did that? Because unknowingly he accepted her as a part of him.She was the light of his life.He was angry on her,but he couldn't ignore her.In that scene, Bondita switched off the light, but she actually took away the light from Anirudh's life her.Bondita being a girl with self-respect didn't try to explain herself again.When she went away from the room closing the door, that sound made him realize that she was actually gone.Anirudh was feeling restless, devastated & that feeling came out as tear drop.One side, his unknown emotions made him go out to see her for one last time, other side his anger & feeling of getting betrayed made him turn away from her.

Anirudh himself is a flawed character.Along with that, one wrong move of his was expecting too much from Bondita.He could not think from a kid's pov.But can we really blame him for this wrong move? That too will take a long discussion to come to an conclusion,I guess.😆

I could have described everything more elaborately, but this one has already become too long.Sorry for such a long post.
