It is tradition too

They have to wear chudiya green and red and foot ring and some other accessories

Atleast for 2 months after marriage

Even they wear 2 mangalsutra and there is some tradition too after that they can wear one mangalsutra

No idea deeply but this is what I heard from friend who got married recently

Even i miss them so much

Last week I watched bepanah pyar

Why they ended that show

That show was well balanced with family drama and between both couple and light hearted scene plus it was not always about who is wrong and who is right

I hope they will be back soon with season 2

Recently I came to know that sindoor tradition is not there in southwest, southeast and southern states of India. Only mangalsutra, glass bangles, toes rings and nose ring were worn by married women of these states. But due to movie and television influence on culture and inter cultural marriages things have changed. Applying sindoor was borrowed like this and now widely practiced.

But if you observe some people still follow their age old customs without any deviations usually those from the older generations. We can tell what are the customs of a culture or family by observing them.
