God yeh ladki na🤣 kya next level wack episode hai yeh I just watched it ... though the whole buildup in sabzee market was a bit on the extra ott side it worked caz of the climax with her using her presence of mind and using the video and reporter card.. adi ki shakal on the side was just 🤣 and abhi toh sambhala bhi nahi tha ke isne ek aur shock de dia with ped pe chadh ke 🤣. I enjoyed him giving Mrs C a taste of her own medicine by returning her taunt too in kind🤣.

All that aside notice he is the only one to notice the bee stings on her hand and then the only one to offer her an ointment at home 😆 and phir kehta hai she means nothing and is a kankar stuck in his shoe🤭. Maano ya na maano farak toh padne laga hai Aditya babu warna itna try hard na karna padta.. it's amusing to see adi ke contradicting actions and words ek taraf he offers her ointment for the bee stings but moonh se harsh words hi nikal rahein hain focus being on 15 tareekh ko jaana hi hai tumhein. It is almost like he is scared to take pheras in imlie ki presence hence the zor on she has to leave on 15th...

He is trying so hard to push her away esp now jab shaadi ke din kareeb aa rahe hain notice how his words are turning harsher and harsher kabi jaan bhujh ke kabhi anjaane main like in hospital.. adi ka serious denial ka case hai 😆 matlab koi expectation nahi kuch nahi phir bhi yeh khud hi burden tale dabbe jaa raha hai and ends up pushing her away caz truth is she is starting to affect him really hard warna itna choti choti baatein kaise notice ho jaati hain kaise imlie kya karti hai matters to him when it really doesn't matter to others ke woh kya galti kar rahi hai kya nahi isko hi zyada khalta hai sab 😆 caz somewhere deep inside she has managed to make a place and that place is associated with him hence her every galti is kinda linked to him too.. it bugs him when she does stupidity he is continuously worried about her safety phir woh kisi racket main phansna ho bee sting ho ya random logon ko ghar main bula ke khana khilanaa his first statement is always kuch bhi hi sakta tha you invite trouble. Though I felt that was too prolonged seq the khana one

Ab toh iski mummy bhi notice karne lagi hain how he is being extra rude and I liked how she schooled him good parenting must say . It is so cool to see a mummy being a normal.mummy and when she saw he is going overboard aankhein dikha di ek dum se.

I must say I appreciate ke so far I haven't spotted any superficiality in any character or situation.. yeah sometimes the sequences of comedy get a bit much but overall they don't seem fake mechanical and put on either.

Rofl waise imlie aur Bandar oops sundar😆Ki rivalry bhi funny hai though I felt yeh beech ke episodes were a bit too much in filler zone but things are developing on adi imlie front hence they are worth sitting through the growing connect and concern is nicely paced and actually flows ... I esp live that the story has a tehraav things aren't rushed .. *touchwood*

Another standout scene was in epi 27/28.....Aditya tells the truth to Malini but she faints and ends up hospitalized over an anxiety attack, toh later he tries to cover up by telling Malini that it was a prank and then says a bunch of mean things about how he could never marry a jhalli like Imlie and she's like a patthar in his shoe.....Imlie overhears all this and feels hurt.

Interestingly, he later apologizes to Imlie for saying all that.....he says he said it to clear Malini's suspicions....but I feel like he went out of his way to put down Imlie so that Malini doesn't feel threatened.

Malini actually is dumb enough to believe ki aisi baat koi prank mein bolega😆she is a serious case of obsesssion yeh alag baat hai ke she conceals it under her concern and so called attachment but yeh normal behavior nahi hai ... she is a fool to unsee ke adi was actually tearing up itne ansoo beh rahe thay when he finally broke the truth and yeah maybe at time it was too much of a shock to her ke she fainted but after gaining her hosh she took his words seriously and maan bhi gayi arre bewakoof aurat koi mazaak main itna serious hota hai kya ke itna fumble kare and actyalky sounds so hurt and embarrassed and struggles with breaking it woh bhi with tears..... she prefers the denial too and chose to beleive the escape the easy convenient statement ke it was a mazaak caz that doesn't threaten her meri duniya ... ek toh malini needs help anyway if she has anxiety issues before hand caz uske saath her obsession is only going to drive her more nuts itne se main hi iska dum nikal gaya. Sure enough shocking news thi but adi was careful to break it in calculated words and dusra she herself was always doubting him and questioning toh iske back of mind pe toh rehta hi anyways it's not the fainting that is a red flag but her reaction to it after and how none of it is making sense when she is seeing things unfold in front of her eyes with adi ka ifna affect hona by her abhi bhi she just thinks ke it is just caz he brought her from pagdandiya woman itna small bubble main rehna is dangerous she seems so oblivious to ado ki actual feelings and I find that lulzy ke she claims to know him the best yet she can't read when he is joking and whe he is serious she literally never suspects ke iske saath kuch bhi off hai and goes by whatever he tells her and believes it on the face value... matlab inka relationship is only based on face value only 😆 aur kuch hai nahi khaas despite the bade bade daaway. Meanwhile imlie bhanpoes his every mood and finds out ke bapusahib needs her whenever he does and they claim to have nothing haha. Also yeah maybe isse Yankees dilate ke liye hi he said those lines but they were hurtful as a viewer too and made me feel so bad

But the standout scene I'm talking about comes after this when Aditya just vents out to Imlie about the helplessness he's feeling about the whole situation and Malini ki haalat.....that he wanted to tell Malini the truth, but not at the cost of her health. Iske baad Imlie gave me some Nakku deja vu again....with the way she talked about rishta and faith....that something exists when you have faith in it, or it can be a meaningless object (dhaaga)....if he wants to believe that the Pagdandiya incident meant nothing, then that will render it so....he doesn't need to make it a truth or lies thing. So much word it reminded me the Dutta nakku scene too where she explains the faith haha babusahib was so moved by that too and esp by her strength there at how she offers him support to fix his and malini's bonding and be there by his side whenever needed that really took him off guard he didn't expected her to walkway like that zap ho gaya tha babu sahib.. it was heartbreaking to see her present that analogy caz for her that dhaaga means a lot while for him it is nothing just the opposite view of the same thing and explaining it so beautifully.. also the girl was fab in this bit

It's also intriguing how quickly Imlie responds to seeing Aditya in any kind of pareshaani....and she reassures him that she will support him in whatever he needs to do salvage his relationship with Malini.

Imlie doesn't try to guilt trip Adi...woh khud hi guilt trip hota rehta hai....but he does seem to get moved by her goodness and I think he resists that from time to time.

I think that is starting to bog him down too ke she never tries to guilt trip him she is ok with whatever he decides it really makes him speechless and adds to his frustration making it hard to ignore her

One interesting thing Malini pointed out.....ki Adi ne pehli baar dhang ki photo Imlie ke saath khinchaayi.....lol he was with Malini for 7 years but never managed to take a decent pic with her....I think both him and Malini aren't realizing that they may be compatible having known each other for so long but Imlie seems to get him on a different level and has managed to bond with him on a different level far more quickly. I suppose that is why she's feeling like a threat to Adi.

I know on one level ki TRPs ke liye they have to play up Imlie ki bechaargi but I do feel bad for her being stuck in this place and just yearning for something to anchor herself to. This is why she seems so moved by any hint of kindness shown by Adi towards her....it doesn't seem like she wants some validation or recognition as his wife or that she's in love with him....it mainly seems to be a case of an attachment born out of being tied together. She's begun to care for him despite herself....which is why she probably feels more hurt when he dismisses her existence in his life....it seems to make her feel adrift. I don't think she wants validation but she also doesn't want to be declared meaningless....which is what Adi tries to do many times in his defensiveness.

+ with the rejection she has felt all her life... this is the first time in life she is wanted and loved by the family and Aditya denial makes it temporary for her and udhar ka as she said she doesn't want that... she feels the apnaiyat and pyar but it hurts that she cannot jatao her haq claim them and get the spot she deserves . Aisa toh anhi hai ke family considers her papaya heck apni beti jaise rakha hai for real usse bhi zyada nakhre iske uthathe hain but it hurts ke she cannot give it a name and also cannot savour them as much as she would want to caz kisi bhi waqt chin sakta hai. This is the first time she isn't being called a paap or constantly being run down the pyar she gets overwhelms her but she does expect the kindness and softeness she has seen and experienced by babusahib in gaoon too.. aisa biwi ka validation nahi but thoda sa ache se baat kar le dek h le itna toh unintentionally she has started to expects isi liye itna sa bhi softness makes her so happy and she crumbles down everytime he runs her down... basically her yearning is for a stable parivaar and a place she can call her own she doesn't want to live under fear of losing it... kinda similar to anika ka yearning of a family

But jokes apart, yes, it seems like Dev genuinely fell in love with Meethi even though he was married. Doesn't seem like he ever really had much of a happy marriage with Mrs. C and it likely worsened after he met Meethi and could never really get over her.

also my heart breaks for her having to live through this whole shaadi 2 saga the way she shakes up at the mention and how freaking naazuk she is in that i have enough gham already plz no yeh wala nahi chahieye sita maiyan ek dum sweet bache ki tarah

and that takes me back to what i said before jaisa bhi hai she has made her samjhota and peace with it.. she doesn't want anything as you said too in that post ke she isn't expecting any validation or biwi a haq bas sideline main aise naukrani banke bhi rehne ko tayar hai caz this is what fate has written for her but it pinches her when the dusri shaai ka mention comes caz kahin na kahin that haq has crept in bashak adi isse kabhi baat bhi na kare and saari zindagi aise hi rakhe phir bhi rahega toh iska hi na isko kuch nahi chahiye she literally has badi choti choti khwahishein ke bas sab isko pyar de dein and yeh itne main hi guzara kar legi but she does have a bit of possessive streak in her selflessnesss too int hat way if it makes sense..

i am just glad that the 2 do end up discussing thier messy situation itna khulke with each other like if she tells him ke she is lonely and he should consider that he also can say these thinsg only to her kehe feels like he failed his family and now kisi bhi din this sachai can break them and he lives in constant fear

lovely acting again with how she steps back the moment he walks in almost subconsciously takes a step back ...

In this phase, Adi was oscillating between moments of guilt and then again lashing out at Imlie when he felt cornered by fate. Just as I used to start appreciating these convos where he would talk to her softly and explain his viewpoint, next epi mein he would again go in the extreme to find a way to blame her for everything....toh yeh saara back and forth chalta rahega till Adi-Malini shaadi and few epis after that also.

All that aside, Adi-Imlie ki interactions mein ek hatke baat hai....the way they talk to each other shows that ek connection ban gaya hai despite everything....he is a good/kind person inherently and it goes against his nature to be mean to someone but Imlie seems to affect him like no other and it chafes against his nature....which is why he bursts out with out of character reactions. He will reflect on it later in more detail but in this phase, he determinedly tries to harden his heart to not even feel a little kindness towards Imlie, lest it bond him with her somehow.

A lot of these convos also show that he wants her to build her life on her own terms, wants her to have her education, career, independence.....this in itself also makes their story somewhat different from a typical one guy, two biwis situation....neither him nor Imlie are trying to hold on to this relationship for the sake of some family ka sammaan and usual crap that is used for justifications of forced shaadis on TV. The fundamental basis of this story is that they both had their own dreams in life before destiny forced them into this shaadi....and at this point, Adi may be the one being more rude to Imlie but on an objective level, his point is also understandable ki both of us should live the life we dreamed of, not this one that has been forced on us.

Abhi the very circumstances of their shaadi weigh too heavily on both Adi and Imlie's minds so it doesn't really allow them to look at the situation objectively....both of them are reacting emotionally in their own ways.....Adi over-reacts and says horrible things to put down Imlie, trying to detach her from the family and that ends up with her getting the label of servant...it's like he can't take it back even when he doesn't think of her like that....cuz the alternative in his mind automatically jumps to "Oh then I'll have to accept her as a wife and part of this family". He isn't even allowing for a middle ground ki basic friendship hi dikhaa lo. And Imlie for her part feels hurt over his harsh words even though she understands on a practical level why he can't accept the shaadi.

Re: possessive streak.....lol I see it more as a maasoom haq jataana like a child jataaoes over their family....ki yeh sab mere hain. Imlie isn't really possessive....warna itni dildaar nahin hoti with Malini😆.....but she's fiercely protective.....that is what comes out when she feels attached to anyone....that is why she fiercely sticks up for Adi and his family. Bachpanaa comes out in bits like her competition with Sundar over wanting to be the only servant in the house....lol....woh bhi funny hai cuz she doesn't even really act like a maid but she wants to be the only one taking care of all of them and baahar ka bandaa nahin bardaasht ise😆

@bold: Not sure about that😆.....she has cried A LOT in front of him since the shaadi😆....and he's mostly been irritated with her non-stop crying....usko nautanki bol deta hai and he loses patience.

But in this jail scene, yes, he did sober down when she told him why she wandered off to search for her father....and he did then samjhaao her nicely....aise moments mein inka age gap bhi kitna stark ho jaata hai when he maturely samjhaaoes her like an adult and she's listening to him like a little kid.

And yes, it's because of such incidents only that samajh aata hai why Adi feels worried for her....she has a tendency for both creating trouble or getting in trouble😆.....and aage jaake bhi you will see the tamaashe that will happen in the mehendi and shaadi functions.....lol....Imlie constantly getting into one trouble or the other and Adi showing up somehow to save her.

Imlie did get very touched by his one brief moment of kindness towards her by giving her the hanky.....bechaari bas thodi si basic care/kindness ke liye hi tarasti hai and utne mein hi her face lights up like isko duniya mil gayi....but ofcourse the moment Malini shows up, Imlie retreats into a shell again as if "remembering her place" in this situation.

Woh jail wala scene was another destiny ka ishara ki Adi beta, Imlie ke saath hi bandhna hai tumko😆.....chaahe jitna marzi grumble kar lo....lol....not a single function of the Adi-Malini shaadi will go without some issue....lol and every issue will be unwittingly caused by Imlie in some form....kismat ke ishaare that Babusahib can't see yet.

@bold: Word....and that is what has surprisingly made the show quite gripping to me despite the other drama.....ek bhi character doesn't feel superficial.....yeah "Sure, sure" madam is a pain but overall she also fits into the story....aise nahin ki koi token caricature hai. This show actually is a win for storytelling....they haven't relied on token romantic sequences ya dragged out high voltage stuff to get hype....the story actually moves on multiple fronts in almost every epi.....yeh nahin ki sirf Adi-Imlie ke scenes ki zaroorat hai to move it....sabke scenes acche hain....family ke, Pagdandiya mein Meethi ke scenes also even if that psycho Naani is around....then the whole Satyakaam angle.....even the Adi-Malini scenes provide context and background for the past and how it ties to the present.....there are so many plot points to make it an engaging watch....they all fit together and move the story.....that's good storytelling that is mostly missing in most shows that are stuck in tokenism aajkal.

Re: Aditya....woh notice sab karta hai Imlie ka even though she isn't really trying to make a place in his life.....but her very existence is taking over everything in his life and that makes him feel helpless and angry. He resentfully labels her kismat ka horrible mazaak.....but he forgets that kismat didn't only loop him into this, it looped her in as well....his entire focus on his own resentments blinds him to her plight many times. On some level, I do feel bad for him....it's terrifying to watch your carefully constructed life slip through your hands in the blink of an eye like this.....he knows Imlie is a good girl, but he is terrified by what she represents....a decision that destiny took for him, that he never asked for. His core nature asks that he be kind to a girl who is going through misfortune....but his helplessness asks that he resent the girl who caused this helplessness in his life.....that is his conundrum.

I guess what sets Adi a bit apart from a typical rude/mean Gul ML also is that he gets emotional in so many of these scenes with Imlie even if he says mean things to her....their convos are so candid....he doesn't really hide some of his most vulnerable emotions from her...he shows her the extent of helplessness he feels....even in anger, there are helpless tears in his eyes many times....even that hospital scene when she talks to him about how faith makes something real and how she will support him in his efforts for Malini, he's just watching Imlie in awe for a bit with a tear running down his cheek before they both get up and walk away from each other. It's like he felt grateful in that moment but he still couldn't find any words to say anything to Imile....thank you or otherwise. And THIS is what makes Imlie dangerous to him.....lol her immense goodness defeats him....how do you fight a soul so pure? He knows somewhere inside he's fighting a losing battle but he can't comprehend the alternative of actually accepting what fate has dealt him in the form of Imlie....so he will continue to struggle.

What I love about all this is how deep their relationship is even without any love involved😆.....so much to analyze about their bond, interactions, the evolution of their equation without any cliched romance factoring in so far *touchwood*

*Edit: Oh forgot to add about Sundar/Bandar....lol yes, most of his scenes with Imlie seem like comedy fillers but I keep getting the feeling that aage jaake family waale will try to get Imlie-Sundar married😆.

LOL yes, Adi-Malini ka relationship hasn't really been tested yet I feel....they are both just floating along in a courtship phase. Based on whatever background has been provided, it seems Adi is usually out on his assignments anyways and they only catch up via phone or when he's in town....toh yeh dono technically utna saath rahe bhi nahin hain. They may know each other's likes and dislikes....but the instinctual connection is actually not as deep.

Adi-Imlie's relationship has literally been forged in life and death situations....they have been facing extreme circumstances together since almost the moment they met....that has bonded them on a different level. I've finally reached the goli drama waale epis so I'll talk about that in a seperate post in a bit but that was the thought going through my mind in the build up also when Imlie comes to save him from the explosions in Pagdandiya.....they've both literally been trying to save each other's lives in extreme situations since the moment they met....that is why, even as Adi feels the pull of a 7 year relationship with Malini, it is only with Imlie that he has faced true adversities and that has forged them together in fire.

Yep, this is exactly what I meant too.....ek toh the way she sat down in front of him to talk to him so calmly....then the "servant-saab" wala dynamic....yeh chhoti maasoom se bacchi jo badi badi baatein karti hai....it has a DN deja vu. But Dutta ofcourse was a darker/brooding character....Adi is different but what's similar is the way she looks up to him and is also protective of him....while he is affected by her words in way he isn't by anyone else's.

Aisa toh anhi hai ke family considers her papaya heck apni beti jaise rakha hai for real usse bhi zyada nakhre iske uthathe hain but it hurts ke she cannot give it a name and also cannot savour them as much as she would want to caz kisi bhi waqt chin sakta hai. This is the first time she isn't being called a paap or constantly being run down the pyar she gets overwhelms her but she does expect the kindness and softeness she has seen and experienced by babusahib in gaoon too.. aisa biwi ka validation nahi but thoda sa ache se baat kar le dek h le itna toh unintentionally she has started to expects isi liye itna sa bhi softness makes her so happy and she crumbles down everytime he runs her down... basically her yearning is for a stable parivaar and a place she can call her own she doesn't want to live under fear of losing it... kinda similar to anika ka yearning of a family

Aage ke epis dekhne ke baad I also feel you've made a good point here.....waise toh I don't feel that everyone in the village berated her.....clearly she had a lot of friends there also but yes, Adi's family has doted on her on a different level, especially for someone who is technically a stranger to them....that is what has touched her so much and that is why it hurts her extra when Adi tries to deny her that much affection also.

I do feel that for her, her real family is still Meethi and Satyakaam....she places them above all else, but yes, she has deeply bonded with Adi's family not necessarily cuz they are in her in-laws but on a general level also. She does subconsciously consider them family cuz she subconsciously has accepted Adi's place in her life via marriage.....but she doesn't dwell on this consciously until Adi starts questioning why she cares about him or his family.....that is when she almost blurts out who they are to her.

Ok firstly, WHAT A BUILD UP😆.....koi soch sakta hai after watching the previous 55 epis ki YEH waale Babusahib bhi ek din dekhne ko milenge?😆 What a transformation, Adi😆.

This scene, and even more so, his panic before it when he finds an unconscious Imlie bleeding from the gunshot.....it felt like a dam breaking after being suppressed for SO long. For HOW long, Adi resisted even showing her any basic kindness or consideration....throughout this Pagdandiya trip, he made even more angry faces at having to be around her, doing those rasams, accusing her of even more horrible things like trying to have an SR with him.....then when he was finally leaving, even then, he tried his best to harden his heart and not feel bad about leaving her behind....the "main kisi ke rokne se bhi nahin rukunga" bit was one I really liked....then when he first got news that Imlie is unwell, STILL he didn't stop and turn back....kept wanting to leave. Until finally it came to this moment.....and he finally couldn't hold himself back anymore.

It really felt like a gush of emotions pouring out of him....his worry for Imlie, the way he instantly started babbling ki "bolo kuch, baat karo humse"....the way he firmly stepped up to take responsibility.

When he put her on the thela, I had to laugh cuz one more DN/LTL deja vu😆....Nakku also did that once to get Dutta to the hospital. That entire time, Adi's panic kept growing....the way he was so terrified to see her going in and out of consciousness....his panic to find medicines in his bag.

And then finally the rain....and him trying to carry her the final distance. Finally Imlie woke up for a bit to banter with him....and how ADORABLE was this scene....Adi got disarmed on another level hearing her say ki "Ab toh aapki daant bhi lori lagti hai"....he remembered all the times he had scolded her so harshly and helpless tears welled up in his eyes again......and then the "Jhalli"...."Shehri Langoor" moment transitioning so sweetly here into that organic laughter b/w them.....ekdum DIL KHOL KE saath mein aise hasse, it felt like a moment of sunshine, nahin? That is what made it so very sweet even in the middle of the tragedy they were in. Us ek moment mein, I don't know if Adi realized he's never even laughed like that with Malini😆.....Imlie makes him laugh in a different way.

And then, when Imlie passes out again, the level of panic in him as he hugs her tightly...drowning in remorse and terror.....such nicely done scenes, these.

The story is mainly working cuz they are doing such a good job of the emotional bonding and growth.....koi instant attraction and love nahin dikhaa rahe.....and emotional bonding supercedes those anyways....most shows barely manage to bother it with it these days though.

And the ambulance scenes in the epi after this one are so good too.....the way he holds her hand and tells her that he's resisted accepting this responsibility for so long but today he accepts ki woh rishta nibha paaye ya na paaye, yeh responsibility nibhaayega....he will never leave her alone and she isn't allowed to leave this world either......such a well enacted scene! 👏.....seriously the emotional graph of these epis was just so good. It is with this acknowledgement of his responsibility towards Imlie, that Adi can probably atleast start to have a friendship with her. Baaki toh I guess yeh TRP drama oscillation chalta rahega ki kabhi Imlie ko sindoor lagaa diya, kabhi phir se nikaal diya to hide the secret from Adi's family.....lol....but all that aside, it was touchingly enacted by Adi and Imlie.
