Word about one doesn't even know when they fall in love with her guts to hain ladki main aur himmat bhi I like that despite everything she isn't a defeatest e.g the way she used her wedding chunni to make the little mandir in her room and cheer herself up. She does try to be normal but then he comes in front of her daant lagooes her and act all stranger like caz of his guilt of doing wrong with both the ladies and not being honest she goes all weak caz well kissay hurt nahi hoga when she literally came on his bhaorsa has noway of being in touch with her only rishta I.e her mother as such like everyother person now call bhi landline se woh old style.main postoffice karna padti hai tough toh hai

I really am enjoying how she has made her presence in the household they all dote on her like she is their actually family member and that is such a rare maalik naukar bonding to witness literal nakhre uttha rahe hain treating her like their own beti hi and when they make mistakes kitna genuinly maafi manage hain yeah maybe such families exist in tv only but the way they all said sorry to her awww

The only seq I felt was stupid was the whole her meeting her father indirectly in that comic way mehhh that was a waste and woh phone wala bhi

Matlab HOW endearing was it...itna earnestly sorry bol rahe the use....ekdum apni bacchi ki tarhaan manaa rahe the.....they really have instantly fallen in love with her....lol....and I also loved that bit where Imlie scolds them ki aapas mein ladne lag gaye, mujhe dhang se manaa bhi nahin rahe....haha matlab HOW cute is she....ekdum pouty baccha bhi ban jaati hai.....the thing is, dono taraf se they have instantly displayed an apnapan....Imlie has a knack for doing that with almost everyone and the Tripathis have also reciprocated in kind and felt an instant kinship with her....isliye kisi ko yaad bhi nahin rehta khaas ki she's their maid and they mostly treat her like a member of the family.

Still, there will be incidents where they end up neglecting her and will feel guilty about it....the good thing is that they don't do it deliberately or maliciously and they always apologize if they hurt her......yehi bahut badi baat hai....I'm also enjoying the show cuz of the lack of negative/toxic characters in the ML's family....woh Rupi di bhi baad mein sudhar hi gayi.....lol

Re: Adi-Imlie....the interesting thing is that even though Adi-Malini constantly seem to have the same choices in what they pick....like the shoes and the wedding card, it is with Imlie that Adi seems to share a more instinctual bonding......that is why I think he gets more affected by what she says...she disarms him pretty easily and that is why he gets more defensive....this reminds me, in one scene, Malini says to him ki Imlie toh bahut cute hai and he says woh cute nahin, DANGEROUS hai😆.

Insecurity only arises where you feel some cracks in your relationship....Malini is insecure by nature so she is constantly clingy or worried about losing Adi....while in Adi's case, he is now getting worried over how much Imlie has managed to make a place in his home and his family's hearts and that is why he feels threatened about how it will impact his relationship with Malini. Obviously, no one in his situation will feel like instantly accepting something forced on him....but the way he feels his life slipping out of his hands with how easily Imlie has won over everyone is what drives his animosity towards her I think......and that is why he ends up saying mean/hurtful things like what he said to her in the ring scene also.

The irony is that Imlie isn't doing anything deliberately....it's in her nature to try to bond with everyone.....woh pyar baantne waalon mein se hai....toh log apne aap hi usse judd jaate hain.....well, atleast any good-hearted person would....and that's what's happening with Adi's family....and even Malini seems to like her even if she feels some insecurity.

The other thing they are showing in the epis I'm watching aajkal around the Adi-Malini engagement is how Imlie ends up starting to compare herself to Malini and feeling a low self-esteem....it's again I think one of those maasoom dil kind of things....usko realize hota hai the class difference and it builds up trauma again cuz she feels helpless.

But I love her spirit....when one guy at Malini's house tries to treat her like a maid, the way she says ki I'm not a maid in THIS house, I'm a guest invited here....so treat me like one😆.....that was well done.

Agreed so far yeh and is the only grey character but I think she is too insensitive and excessive too in her 23 tareekh toh 23 tareekh hi order de rahi hai and it is too much and more on humiliation end only when Aditya ki mom and taiji have to fold their hands and be like try to understand I am sorry but why itna beg karna this woman is plain insensitive and gives no 2 hoots about the family she is sending her daughter in and automatically hi unhe khrab log samjh ke bhaithi despite them being super polite she is continuously rude towards them itna sa bhi courtesy nahi hai

Also yeh malini is too extra in her mujhe phone nahi kia mera gift kya lia and despite her being professor seems kaafi immature with her call me every min esp when she knows ke he is out on work in a village where there could be danger and also out of reach area she seems too nagging with all that and I laughed when at one point adi had to be like yeha I will come but you Don't take leave on this stupid reason woh toh raazi thi

Also mujhe bohat ajeeb lag raha hai ke iss sab main Aditya ne ek baar bhi apni family se contact mahi kia and how this shehri shaadi is being arranged bohat hi ajeeb lag raha hai mujhe yeh all of them passionately getting ready for shaadi when we haven't seen a single interaction I think that could've made the connection better right now they seem like a 3rd storyline but like happening in some other world all together esp with that anu ka continuous rudeness. Malini seems pyar main andhi who really is short sighted and hence she keps calling and expecting calls and insecure toh hai hi with just hearing some girl in lodge in bg she goes all suspicious katlab he told her he is at a lodge toh koi bhi ho sakta hai na reception pe itna kya uchalna just caz you heard a girl

Yes, rain is going to be their thing....or more like, Imlie's thing😆....first epi se hi obvious tha.....but yeah they showed more of it when he landed in the village.

Udta sindoor and grah pravesh were nods to TRP tropes but they were directed well, so it worked....lol....basically they were just trying to show constant symbolism and foreshadowing ki inn dono ki shaadi honi hai. But the nice thing otherwise has been ki despite all this symbolism, their actual interactions aren't really 'romanticized' per se.....mostly human interactions huye hain....that is probably what's working for the story. Shocking that Gul is restraining herself itna bhi from showing heavy breathing romance.....lol small mercies so far.

Re: Anu.....lol ek toh I resent that being her name :P but chalo whatever....lol.....her "Sure, sure" makes me laugh.....yes, she's a total classist snob who likes to put down ppl....but she does seem to have genuine love and affection for her daughter. I do like how Adi also responds to her taunts in kind whenever he gets a chance....the way he switched to "Mrs. Chaturvedi"....lol

Malini is like a pampered child in many ways.....woh Adi ke saath zidd bhi aise hi karti hai like she just constantly wants to be pampered by him. She definitely doesn't seem to subscribe to the usual concept of giving space.....lol like the way she constantly wants to call him to know all his whereabouts is a bit much.

From Adi's side, what's notable is how much he is lost in his work and does indeed seem to put everything else second.....including his family and Malini. No relationship has come before his work in his life.....no wonder Malini's mom also seems to constantly feel insecurity about whether he will put career before her daughter....lol....so yeah, maybe that's why woh apni family ke saath bhi itna contact nahin rakhta cuz he gets caught up in whatever assignment he is on in the moment.

I sometimes feel Malini ko yeh insecurity ki aadat bhi apni maa se mili hai who constantly keeps filling her ears with "aadmi kabhi bhi dhoka de sakte hain".....even though she does say many times that Adi hasn't given her any reason to distrust him in 7 years....but then she still keeps inserting comments here and there about "Adi ko koi aur toh nahin mil gayi".....and this shows that her insecurity is a constant even if she tries to downplay it sometimes. She's a very needy personality in some ways and that does become a turn off.....I get it that she is madly in love with him but is hadh tak dependency is a bit much....like she literally only wants to cook for him....and she's willing to give an A grade to all her students cuz Adi ghar aa gaya? 😕😆

Babu sahib is irritated abhi and is focused only on how he will face his family walks I felt a bit irritated with him ke ek baar bhi iss ladki ka nahi soch raha and being cruel to her with hsi sharp words but then it is understandable he thinks she took the choice away and zabardasti bandh gayi and also the fact that whens he agrees he's reminded of her shehar jaane ka sapna so he doubts ke she used him as a step.to get to shehar too and that is my understanding caz of that VO they played in that scene I posted caps above of. It's almost ironic that on one hand on The same scene he goes wait hold on she's a kid she doesn't understand the severity of it and in the very next moment he gets that VO in his head and he gets a doubt on her.

My heart broke for this girl into 10x when she sits in the cab and goes well it was always a sapna but like this nooo.

Hates off to this girl she is making me cry 😢 😭 yes I didn't knew I had it in me to be so.emotional at aaj kal ka daily soaps but her acting was so.on point it moved me and I wanted to protect her so badly. She is EXCELLENT all throughout but esp in these episodes such a natural she is and the switch from the over talkative chirpy little girl to this lost girl. Few moments was all it took for her life to turn upside down.

The washroom scene was well enacted but I kept thinking the whole time ki DHAABE mein isko AISA badaa washroom mil gaya? 😆.....just didn't look believable.....lol

Re: the VO of "sheher jaana mera sapna hai".....yes, in that scene it did appear as if he thought she used him to get to the city, but uske baad aage kisi epi mein dikhaya nahin that Adi accuses her of that so I don't know how much he really thinks that. He mainly just seems upset about this being forced upon him when he never chose this.....so he constantly berates her to remind her that he didn't bring her here, she came on her own and her villagers sent her with him.

At this point toh it mainly seems like he thinks of her like an irritating kid that he's been saddled with who just goes around creating problems in his life.....but based on the thumbnails I skimmed through, it's quite possible he will say something nasty to her in anger and possibly accuse her of this thing only ki she used him to get to the city.

Word on the girl....she's superb.....I'm quite impressed with the range she's displayed so far.

Another standout scene was in epi 27/28.....Aditya tells the truth to Malini but she faints and ends up hospitalized over an anxiety attack, toh later he tries to cover up by telling Malini that it was a prank and then says a bunch of mean things about how he could never marry a jhalli like Imlie and she's like a patthar in his shoe.....Imlie overhears all this and feels hurt.

Interestingly, he later apologizes to Imlie for saying all that.....he says he said it to clear Malini's suspicions....but I feel like he went out of his way to put down Imlie so that Malini doesn't feel threatened.

Malini actually is dumb enough to believe ki aisi baat koi prank mein bolega😆

But the standout scene I'm talking about comes after this when Aditya just vents out to Imlie about the helplessness he's feeling about the whole situation and Malini ki haalat.....that he wanted to tell Malini the truth, but not at the cost of her health. Iske baad Imlie gave me some Nakku deja vu again....with the way she talked about rishta and faith....that something exists when you have faith in it, or it can be a meaningless object (dhaaga)....if he wants to believe that the Pagdandiya incident meant nothing, then that will render it so....he doesn't need to make it a truth or lies thing.

It's also intriguing how quickly Imlie responds to seeing Aditya in any kind of pareshaani....and she reassures him that she will support him in whatever he needs to do salvage his relationship with Malini.

Imlie doesn't try to guilt trip Adi...woh khud hi guilt trip hota rehta hai....but he does seem to get moved by her goodness and I think he resists that from time to time.

One interesting thing Malini pointed out.....ki Adi ne pehli baar dhang ki photo Imlie ke saath khinchaayi.....lol he was with Malini for 7 years but never managed to take a decent pic with her....I think both him and Malini aren't realizing that they may be compatible having known each other for so long but Imlie seems to get him on a different level and has managed to bond with him on a different level far more quickly. I suppose that is why she's feeling like a threat to Adi.

I know on one level ki TRPs ke liye they have to play up Imlie ki bechaargi but I do feel bad for her being stuck in this place and just yearning for something to anchor herself to. This is why she seems so moved by any hint of kindness shown by Adi towards her....it doesn't seem like she wants some validation or recognition as his wife or that she's in love with him....it mainly seems to be a case of an attachment born out of being tied together. She's begun to care for him despite herself....which is why she probably feels more hurt when he dismisses her existence in his life....it seems to make her feel adrift. I don't think she wants validation but she also doesn't want to be declared meaningless....which is what Adi tries to do many times in his defensiveness.

LOL Imlie sach mein paagal hai...she really does go overboard sometimes😆.....matlab she's quite cute otherwise but kabhi kabhi itna non-stop bakbak gets too much.

I don't know if they are showing her bratty side to show that she's still quite young or to show that she likes to jataao her haq on people when she feels an apnapan.....matlab the way she raises hell in the Tripathi household....baap re😆.....woh log toh iske haath hi jodte reh jaate hain ki chup ho jaa, humaari maa😆.....she literally bosses them all around like they are all her juniors😆.

Rpfl adi the best friend🤣 I can totally imagine him going all off caz of it and getting irritated woth this paagal ladki jo uske saath bandh gayi bai and he has to keep running to solve her issues but all this isn't feeling run of the mill caz of the warmth she otherwise shares with the characters and her personality onscreen . My understanding is she is still too immature and world has done too much to her in a short span of time and then she switches to this mode to feel some normalcy too

Rofl yes I was also losing ke dhabbe ka itna bada washroom and it was kind of luxurious for a dhaabba with itne bade mirrors and nahane wala maga bhi available🤣 also dusra koi tha hi nahi in the dhabba wr🤣 but I chose to ignore the lulzy stuff caz of the mood and her haha but good to see ke abhi bhi kaafi lulz hai and bloopers in a gul la production which reminds me ke in this baarish wala goli episode baarish baras rabi hai but when his tyre get stuck in a pot and he is trying to fix it there ke uppar geela and tyre sukha hai🤣

The reason yeha after that they kind of forgot the VO but I do feel it will make a comeback jab inko yaad aayega for now his major issue seems to be the fact that he is hiding the truth from everyone and not being honest and is zabardasti ka tied in a relationship that doesn't mean anything to him but actually it does hahah isi liye he pauses and gets thoda fumbly when anyone mentions shaadi to him or imlie

Haan this was the scene I was mentioning earlier to you.....they played that "Aigiri Nandini" chant on Imlie in this....lol some TRP masala....but haan they played it earlier also I think in the first epi on her.

This was a good moment, and I liked it more so for the parallel that came before it.....when Aditya saw her scared and stepped in front of her to shield her from the villagers and the way she looks at him there totally surprised and touched that he'd do that for her......I think that was part of why she also leapt to his defense so fiercely.....how could she let the man who stood up to defend her be killed like this?

Yup that was part of it but more then herself it was the fact that he saved her dada by taking risk and saved him twice from police khud bhi zakhmi hua in it but that had more impact caz dada ko itna high rakbti hai yeh toh phir isko kaise marne deti woh bhi itbi brutally for no fault of his and yes he has been nice to her all throughout and didn't let the gaoonwalas malign her name but bada impact full back and forth tha dono ka lovely parallels drawn

And the epi before this....their cycle ride through the village, the baarish scenes....and her concern for his injured foot....LOL@ her calling it his punctured tire😆.....kaafi subtly dikhaya dono ka ek dusre ke liye concern on a human level. I also liked their convo in the hut when they are waiting out the rain....when he talks about kismat and she says ki kismat khud banaani padti hai. What was remarkable was the fact that they were having such a normal/relaxed convo as regular human beings rather than getting OTT hyper about being in the same place overnight. That was refreshing to watch....yes, Imlie was worried but mainly cuz she knew how her Naani would make an issue out of it.....khud se "Haaye raam" types nahin thi.....Imlie hasn't been shown as a typical village girl and that has made this refreshing so far.

Yes I mentioned it in a past post too i really enjoyed their whole day out bad sweet tha and organic thank God for no cliche scenes here. I kept laughing at her referring to his foot as his punctured tyre🤣 I liked the execution of them being stuck too and the fact that they talked about regular things like her sapna to be the inspector to go to shehar mentioning her scholarship that came across nicely the get to know you phase rare hi hai ke a show tried to getting to know you itna bhi warna to bam bam pyar shaadi ho jaata hai and that they showed him meeting her mother pehle too and getting to know woh past bhi yet he didn't questioned once or humiliated her regarding her father and whatever happened to them that he constantly has respected that and even in between such a mess ek vaar he didn't accuse them if being characgerless like others again I think that also made her respect him ke babusahib isn't like rets of gaoonwalas that he minded his business and tried to be the adult samjhaooing her too ke koi baat nahi stuck ho gaye toh ho gaye ab kya kar sakte hain

Yes, the reason it's still working is cuz these sequences are far and few between.....she's not doing this level of paagalpanti daily.

And then the fact ki end of the day, bacchi hi hai.....bedhadaak si hai but she's still a kid in many ways so she jumps around like a kid only. Adi ne sahi naam diya hai ise.....JHALLI😆. She yaps too much sometimes but yes, she doesn't give the usual level of put on bhaashans like regular FLs so it's ok.

The strange irony is that she is like a kid in many ways but baatein bhi badi badi kar deti hai.....that's also why she gives Nakku deja vu. Adi ki saari family bhi isi baat se Imli fans ban gaye hain that she says these simple/wise things with maasoomiyat and they just keep falling more in love with her.

I've reached the Adi-Malini shaadi epis now.....kaafi drag hai and kaafi drama bhi.....I have to admit, Imlie ki slow motion crying does test my patience in b/w😆. What's interesting though is the subtlety with which they have shown Adi starting to feel a sense of responsibility towards Imlie even though he doesn't want to accept that shaadi. Even in the middle of marrying Malini, most of his thoughts are stuck on doing Imlie ki fikar ki woh kahaan hai, phir se musibat mein toh nahin.....so it's interesting in that sense ki it's not really love on either side....but both of them feel a sense of responsibility towards each other because of the marriage. I guess kehna easy hota hai that it doesn't mean anything, but it's hard to erase it mentally....and that is the case for both Adi and Imlie right now. They are both struggling in their own ways to find their balance in the face of that truth.

Udta sindoor and grah pravesh were nods to TRP tropes but they were directed well, so it worked....lol....basically they were just trying to show constant symbolism and foreshadowing ki inn dono ki shaadi honi hai. But the nice thing otherwise has been ki despite all this symbolism, their actual interactions aren't really 'romanticized' per se.....mostly human interactions huye hain....that is probably what's working for the story. Shocking that Gul is restraining herself itna bhi from showing heavy breathing romance.....lol small mercies so far. *touchwood* hard to believe but so far she is doing good in controlling haha but yeh kisi bhi waqt palti maar sakti hai haha and that is why it is worth watching so far it gives then time to build the relationship more organically and makes a strong base for them ek dum faltu toh nahi lagta na development of feelings and equations.

Re: Anu.....lol ek toh I resent that being her name :P but chalo whatever....lol.....her "Sure, sure" makes me laugh.....yes, she's a total classist snob who likes to put down ppl....but she does seem to have genuine love and affection for her daughter. I do like how Adi also responds to her taunts in kind whenever he gets a chance....the way he switched to "Mrs. Chaturvedi"....lol ok we will stick to Mrs chaturvedi too then hahah her love and affection goes unnoticed in her insensitivity towards the tripathis when they haven't even done anything wrong intentionally or unintentionally bas iski suni hi jaa rahe hain and yeh still continuously walks all over them agar itni pyari hai beti toh mat karo na shaadi phir uski and rakho apne paas hi. Just saw the scene where the dadi has entered and not only tripathis she is downright rude to her saas too she is way too ghammandi and just few mins with her daughter wouldn't make her bearable. Initially I felt for her given ke how she was cheated upon and that turned her bitter but ab she is overdoing it . Adi toh lihaaz main hi kuch bilta nahi but kab tak frankly tripathis need to speak and tell her ke koi ehsaan nahi kar rahi yeh unpe iski apni beti wants to marry their son and is more desperate..

Malini is like a pampered child in many ways.....woh Adi ke saath zidd bhi aise hi karti hai like she just constantly wants to be pampered by him. She definitely doesn't seem to subscribe to the usual concept of giving space.....lol like the way she constantly wants to call him to know all his whereabouts is a bit much.

From Adi's side, what's notable is how much he is lost in his work and does indeed seem to put everything else second.....including his family and Malini. No relationship has come before his work in his life.....no wonder Malini's mom also seems to constantly feel insecurity about whether he will put career before her daughter....lol....so yeah, maybe that's why woh apni family ke saath bhi itna contact nahin rakhta cuz he gets caught up in whatever assignment he is on in the moment.

I sometimes feel Malini ko yeh insecurity ki aadat bhi apni maa se mili hai who constantly keeps filling her ears with "aadmi kabhi bhi dhoka de sakte hain".....even though she does say many times that Adi hasn't given her any reason to distrust him in 7 years....but then she still keeps inserting comments here and there about "Adi ko koi aur toh nahin mil gayi".....and this shows that her insecurity is a constant even if she tries to downplay it sometimes. She's a very needy personality in some ways and that does become a turn off.....I get it that she is madly in love with him but is hadh tak dependency is a bit much....like she literally only wants to cook for him....and she's willing to give an A grade to all her students cuz Adi ghar aa gaya? 😕😆

Telepathy at work again I was going to make this point too ke yeh isne inherit kiya lagta hai problem what's funny is she keeps saying i Don 't have a reason yet she is constantly doubting even if it is minor at this point matlab casually kisi ki bg main award sunke bhi she gets restless and starts thinking ke iska kuch chal raha hai 😆 what I find even more funny is neither her nor her mother know for sure ke baapu ji ka kuch hua pagdandiya main yet they have some kind of phobia with the mention of any girl there woh Mrs C also said I doubt kuch toh hua tha na that you changed usko bhi sirf shak hai ke cheat kia uspe she has no concrete evidence or doesn't seem like he ever told her anything yet yeh sirf apni maa ki yeh shaki behavior dekh ke hi itni shaking ho gayi hai esp when they seem to be in a long term relationship ek tarf kehti hai 7 saal main I know him very well and dusri taraf aadha ghanta phone na aane pe she acts so impulsive and loses her shit like packing her bags and rushing to pagdandiya or that ke isko nayi ladki ke baare main nahi bataya and thinks of the worst. Even though Aditya was lying in that scene ke bhai iss liye nahi bataya ke naukar toh badalte rehte hain ab kya yeh bhi inform karoon it was a valid point how much info is tmi. Sharing and all is fine but am from school of thought jahan apne ghar ki bhi kuch baatein hoti hain I Don't beleive in being a rattoo tota and informing itna detail ke kya khaya kab kahaya sec sec ki report. Also I feel kuch cheezein insaan ki apni family ke saath personal hoti hain and aise hi rehna chahiye no matter kitna pyar ho and kitna deep bonding ho partner se and if there is trust to kya issue hai and yeh toh koi baat bhi nahi thi caz agar adi ne nahi bataya toh uski family ne toh instantly inform kia na apna samjh ke .... yeh ladki aage jaake apna and adi ke liye mushkil banegi caz she is borderline obsessed and I can see it happening she will lose it abhi jitna marzi understanding ban jaaye.

Agree with she is too dependent and obsessed she goes ott and forgets it ke she is behaving abnormally even adi seems to think ke she does too much again wohi e.g ke he told her ke chuti na lena phir bhi yeh leke bhaithi thi. She is very self centered as a character waise it is sirf main aur mera adi.. matlab students ko aise hi A doongi aur waise chuti it is dishonesty with her profession too in her too much love. She doesn't know moderation and expects way too much and abhi she is all OK his family his family but yeh isko baad main zaroor hi bug karenge jab he would want to be his family and she will feel ke privacy nahi hai etc

Baaki I know it is a trp thing and soap thing but I still like ke Adi ki pehli biwi imlie hi hai and isse pehle shaadi nahi hui thi so technically she will be his illegal wife haha but then again it is done to flip her into a villain later on

About adi yes I like ke yeh faltu ke pachdon main nahi padta apne kaam se kaam rakhta hai and that their is this dedication towards his profession also was surprised ke they showed his office baad main bhi warna gul ka show and somebody is in office hahahah hard to beleive. He is utna hi connected jitna necessary hai but not cut off from them I toh am impressed by the fact ke for a change yahan mummy daddy issues nahi hain hero ke to make him a snob or grumpy and duniya se awazar he is just a normal professional and human otherwise
