That's why i like sc, she's been in the industry for 5-6 years now and no news of khatpat with anyone!! I am sure there are people who don't like her at all but there's just no controversy.

There were rumours of her annbann with sanjivani 2.0 hero (the stoic one, not rohit, what his name??😂..Arshi, naam btao, ye ab se aapka kaam hai🤣), but those were just rumors because sc sabke Saath pics daalti thib but uske saath very very rarely!!

I haven't watched tribhanga yet though, I'm in two minds about it. Because some critics say that it's trying to glorify stuff/issues that just shouldn't be glorified!! Baaki you tell??🤔

Chalo Chalo, Kaam shuru karo. We should start the subtle sending of videos of them to him, with super convincing messages about how someone should really cast these two together. Be like "oops, meant to send it to my friend Siddarth" . Generally, the cast and crew of Sanjeevani had lots of fun. Namit would usually be the one out. Who knows? Maybe he was just a very reserved person?

@Bold agree. There will be always people who don't like you or get along with you no matter what. That's ok. Glad there is no controversy yet.

Tribhanga was a good story tbh. Everyone's acting was zabardast. Kajol's character takes the cake. I don't think the main issue in the plot was glorified at all. They called a spade a spade only. The difference may be that when you watch it as a viewer, you expect it to go a certain way. It probably didn't go that way. They didn't exactly based that particular issue as the main plot either. I think the story was more about coming a full circle for the main character, with her coming around to doing something she herself was a victim to. I'm trying hard here to explain without spoiling it (if you dont already know)

And I agreeee with both of you. Sanjeevani 2 was a kalank on the original's name. Couldn't watch it even with SC. Watched the ending though and I preferred her with the other ML than with Namit's character. Such a ping pong it was.

Yes, ShiviKa has time and again had these shining moments in the tracks. They're the ones that make entire tracks worth it. I like how they highlighted that their relationship had evolved beyond their physical attraction during the false pregnancy call. I remember how they made an entire track of the SR - them trying to get intimate but always failing to do so. But man, it was hilarious when OmRu asked them then what they do when they are actually alone and Shivaay says "Baatein" almost unsurely and even they are like "....sirf baatein?" 🤣 I still lose it when I remember it because IT WAS TRUE. Aur yahaan pe toh VaNi had a full fledged SR on first try.... but its like it didn't even happen 😳.

I honestly didn't mind Gauri so much. Sometimes I'd feel for her too but like you said Om was a really complex character. His character and its intricacies imo was something that was never done on ITV. A journey that would have been dark for the most part. Wildly different from Shivaay and Rudra. They started with this character that could have had a brilliant arc. But I think they did not know how to deal with him and run his story in parallel to the others while keeping them all connected. Thinking of it objectively, both Gauri and Ishana could have fit with him. (Because they were confused with him, they kept changing his partner too perhaps). If Ishana were to keep going ahead, I am sure they would have adjusted her and her antics too. But then they made him Shivaay 2.0 which also meant they had to bring a version of Anika for him then.

AND YESSSS. Anika was subdued quite a bit. People do change with the course of time and with the roles they assume in life, I agree... but it was the fact that they toned down her tadi, takkar and tashan. I like that the character knew when to make use of them and when not to. But damn, there were times after her marriage when she could really use them but she didn't. Even with Shivaay, at a way later stage of the show and their relationship, their interactions would go the same way. But sometimes the tadi and takkar would just be naam ka. As Arshi says, all in the name of glorifying the great wall of SSO.

@Tia and Kapoor sisters. They were a wild ride. Svetlana was consistent. Tia babyyy had a bit of ride from a villain to a hesitant one. Saumya ka toh I am still too bitter. She legit saved their lives and ass so many times before the writers decided to make her a Kapoor sister and forget all the things we were shown about her. Matlab akele mein bhi acting kar rahi thi achaayi ka? 🤔

The glorification of great wall of SSO, iske toh kehne hi kya!! Very honestly shivaay might have been the "great freaking wall" to the whole family. But he wasn't one to anika, the most important woman in his life!!

IMO, anika loved shivaay more than he loved her. Shivaay loved her,yes, but he just never had that emotional capacity to love like anika did!! Freely and without conditions!!

They really wrote a amazing character with om, far better than shivaay in my opinion. Had IB been a web show, writers would have been freely able to explre the tangled net of feelings and emotions that omkara singh oberoi was!! But alas.. it's ITV, itni dark journey trp audience ko bhaati kaha hai.

My issue with gauri is that i fell too much into the idea of om (sachai ka devta) falling for a woman whose lines of truth and lies are blurred.

The way the oberoi's behaved with anika na, uss hisaab se rather than making her more subdued, writers should have increased her tashann levels, but then again trp audience ko badtameez bahu bhaati kaha??🙂

Swetlana was consistent yes, but what made her consistent was that she was cray cray!!🤣

Agr plotline se jaye na toh bandi ne apni life ke 10-15 saal oberoi's ke peeche barbaad kiye..and vo kaam bhi fhang se kr na payi!!😂😂 Jay 2.0🤪her plan toh flop ho jaata tha uskan!!

@italics- i think ye bahut saare logon ka view hai ki sc's character should have ended up with gaurav chopra. People found her chemistry better with gc as compared to the other guy!!😆

Her ending up with namit's character angered a lot of people as they were already invested in shipping her with gc. And sc and namit together at the end was literally thrown upon the viewers. They did not expect that at all!!

@bold - WORDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. That is one thing I will always dislike about the show...he never ever put Anika first, despite constantly saying he would. Even in the track about that kid that was supposedly Rudra's (), Shivaay just leapt up to take the illegitimate child blame in front of the media without even talking to Anika about it. I don't know why he thought that him fathering a child out of wedlock was any less scandalous than Rudy doing it...Anika was so graceful in her understanding of Shivaay's motivation here, but IDK if I could have forgiven him. It's one thing if they'd discussed it beforehand, but that public humiliation...and for what? Something that wasn't even true.

I wish SBS would visit them on set more, that would have helped with getting the TRP audience involved.

This... exactly this is what makes me still mad at shivaay. The fact that he never considered her family, even though he said it like 1000 times became glaringly clear during the seperation fiasco. Even if anika was being rude and bursting upon family and wanted batwaara ( her reasons aside), you don't throw a person out of her own house. Had he considered anika part of family, he wouldn't have ever thought of throwing her out, kyunki apne hi ghar se kisi ko kaise nikal skte ho yr tum!!

Rahi baat om ki bezaati ki ya family insult ki media ke saamne toh vo toh tej oberoi ne kitni baar kri thi na..tej ko ghr se bahar nikala kya??

If om or ru had taken such kinda step na, shivaay would have been angry, but he still wouldn't have thought ki inhe ghr se bahar feko.

And sad part, ye cheez sudhari nahi, shivaay never trusted anika. Till the end of the show ( not redux and shivaansh obviously 🤭) he never trusted her. And this trust track never came about. Anika never realised that she deserved more than what shivaay and oberoi's dished out to her!!

During seperation track my sadness for anika increased tenfold due to this reason. Somewhere inside anika knew that shivaay never thought of her as family, tabhi she was so sure ki usne ye sab kiya toh shivaay usse chod dega!!
