Yes. Gul's MLs are usually those alpha, MCPs we speak of. SSO fared really well in the redemption department, emoted wonderfully by Nakuul too. ShivIka did the slow burn really amazingly, special ship to me. A close second is the second generation of QH... Aahil as an ML had a low uhh 'toxic' meter but he paid for those in a way that was satisfying and made rooting for the couple so much better.

@Bold . You're actually right, didn't think EK couldn really create an ML like Veeranshu. Although she really did well with Karan Luthra in the veryyyyyy beginning of KDB and I was like Mmm, this is a good ML. Obviously, destroyed it later. So I did think she had the potential.

A pick and choose scenario would be absolutely perfect - with the combo you have mentioned would be bombbb! But if SharBhi even comes together again, woh hi bohot hoga. Oooooh, speaking of bombs. Did they really edit out the entire blast sequence? I was really counting on that 🥺

About QH 2.0, Gul spoke in an IV that the logistics didn't work out so the reboot is being handled by a co-producer (I think?) who also worked on QH1.

Shivika is a special ship to me too, for those reasons, as well as the fact that Anika is total love ❤️ she was by far the best FL I've seen in years, if ever. Even during her mahaan moments or at times when she was put down to glorify Shivaay, she was still miles better than anyone else. The other thing was that IB felt like the kind of show where the ML was the one who (originally at least) had those typical ITV FL qualities - the family love, the willingness to sacrifice oneself for his family, the mahaanta etc. He wasn't an ML who became wallpaper, he was always at the forefront of the story (though sometimes to the detriment of Anika).

But yes, agreed that SharBhi in any show together would be more than enough for me (not that it'll stop me complaining about the other aspects if that need arose 😆) but I don't think we'll get them instantly at least...maybe after a few months/a year or two if we do (sidenote I really hope SC doesn't decide to go on BB as a contestant next 😕 don't think I will be able to watch that).

Re: QH 2.0 - ah, got it. At least someone from the original was involved. Otherwise I was wondering how another PH got the rights, and could they also reboot N5? 😳😆

As for the blasts, I suspect either it's a finale thing, or they've scrapped it in favour of Bani/Rani...don't know which I prefer tbh...

I haven't watched Imlie save for the clips on IG. Seems like the ML there has the same Gul vibes. But then again, the show could be different too because its a remake. For all its worth though, the tashan of the leads in her show are very entertaining.. Like you said in another comment of yours, Gul definitely specializes in romance, its her forte. Mukta's tryst with romance I am not sure of. I only know she has done Divya Drishti and Naagin 3.

I want to believe Surbhi and Gul are on good terms (I know she is ok with the writers and others on the team though) but it just seems to me that way. Surbhi was also pretty vocal about her displeasure on Shivika's story ending; she seemed as attached to the pair and show as the fans were. Plus, I didn't see any interactions between her and Gul after that. Maybe all is really well though and its just what I think.

But - but Veer's memory seemed to have returned in that scene ... which is a good thing for me. I was holding on to that as hope that this track would be over soon. 🥺

I've read interviews of Mukta where she talks about being a romance fan and wanting to write romance in everything she does. The problem is, I don't think she's cut out for the supernatural side of it. Inserting romance into a supernatural story is fine, but she can't balance the two.

It'd be interesting to see how she fared with a show that was pure romance, no naagin or vampire vibes involved.

From what I see floating about the internet on the Gul-Surbhi thing, it feels like Surbhi was blindsided by the IB exit (and the "don't want to play a mother" thing was just a polite TV response), and then the whole thing with the fans soured it even further. No idea what their relationship is like now, but I always find it strange that producers fall out with actors bc of the actions of fans...it's not the actor's fault if their fans are overzealous or overinvested.

I know Surbhi's okay with Harneet, but given what Harneet is currently writing, I don't want to see that pairing either 🤪

I just don’t want a sad ending. My heart won’t take it 💔 just get him his memory back and keep them stranded together, happy and safe elsewhere I don’t mind
