yep, according to me, that promise was stupid and baseless,

it made pakhi not wanting or even trying to move on in her life.

and he is continuing to give her wrong signals by all the liberty to interfere in his personal space which is not at all needed.

and after doing that stupid vaada saying he wont marry/touch another woman and will always love her, he then gave their relation 'frendship' tag. i mean how stupid can it get?

The way Virat termed his request for friendship made it look like his friendship offer was based on that zimmedari as well. He said something along the line of dosti bhi zimmedari hoti hain(not sure of the wording) but he did link the friendship with zimmedari.

You are right in saying that both will have to make it work and both Sai and Virat have said questionable things to each other but when the attraction strikes, they'll have to question whether the deal still stands and whether Virat is still someone she hates.

The burden of that will fall upon Virat, because he has kept a whole iceberg in their relationship. Once his stance is clear, she'll find her footing in the relationship as well. In every relationship at some point, one partner will have to make more effort than the other.

Don't u think virat do have a right hold a self respect ?

Virat is in impression that sai don't like him as a person coz of Sai's words she was not interested to marry him but forced to. Ye virat ke liye bhi self respect ki baat hain.

Virat ko kaise pata chalega ki sai is relationship mein rehna chahti hain, usse sapna to aayega nhi, sai baategi nhi , aur pakhi hone nhi degi.
