The episode begins Sai is outside in the terrace studying and starts recalling Virat's words about how life is difficult in outside world without any support and partner. Sai tries to focus on her studies but is unable to. Devyani comes and scares her. Sai asks her to keep her voice down, she asks Sai what she was doing outside? Sai says I am studying outside in the fresh air. Devyani said she went to her room but seen Pakhi there with Virat. Devyani asks Sai if Pakhi was troubling her. Sai says I don't want to talk about Pakhi. Sai asks Devyani why is she still awake and didn't yet sleep? Devyani says she didn't take her medicine today, whenever she takes the medicine she feels sleepy. Sai asks what medicine? Devyani says she doesn't know the name. Devyani asks Sai if she will be better, and Sai says yes you will. Devyani gets excited and tells Sai she will be a great doctor. Sai says she needs to study to become a good doctor.

Devyani continues talking and says out loud how everyone scolds her a lot even after her marriage. Sai says what? you are married? Devyani says her mother taken her mangalsutra away. Devyani says her husband wanted to become a doctor too and Sai asks her for his name? Devyani gets scared and says if she takes his name , then he'll get hurt. Sai asks who will hurt him and why? Where is your husband? Devyani says she doesn't know where he is or her baby is. Sai is shocked hearing this and how maybe Devyani has a baby too. Devyani cries and says she is not sure if she will ever see her husband again. Sai makes her sit and consoles her saying don't worry and relax. Sai prays that Devyani's happiness comes back before she leaves the house.

The next morning, Sai comes downstairs and tells Bhavani kaaku sorry for not finishing the kitchen work, but promises she will finish all kitchen work before college tomorrow. Bhavani kaaku taunts her. Sai says she was studying at night and couldn't wake up. Bhavani kaaku says if she can't fulfil bahu's duties, how will you fulfil a doctor's duties? Karishma starts talking and says this is unfair, Pakhi and her has to do all the work. Ashwini speaks on behalf of Sai and asks Pakhi, can't she start her day without taunting Sai? If one day Sai couldn't do work then what is the big deal? There are other family members too. Bhavani kaaku says what do I say when saas and bahu are together always. Usha mausi comes and tells Sai not to argue with the elders and come have breakfast and go to college. Mausi feeds her and again Bhavani kaaku taunts her for that. Pakhi and Karishma joins along kaaku and taunts her together. Bhavani kaaku says Sai will not go to college till she finishes the house work. Sai says she is already tensed because of her exams and asks kaaku not to trouble her. Pakhi asks Bhavani kaaku why is she spoiling her mood for Sai when she can only insult others. Mausi asks Sai to finish her breakfast, and Bhavani snatches the plate from her. Kaaku tells her to go finish the work first. Sai asks her to leave the plate, both tries to snatch the plate and the food falls and breaks. Virat comes and asks what is going on? Ashwini blames Bhavani. Pakhi takes Bhavani kaaku's side. Bhavani kaaku says to Virat, she snatched the plate because she didn't want Sai to eat it out of the maid's plate. Sai is shocked hearing this. Virat asks his mother to get another food plate. Sai says she is full now after hearing everyone's taunts. Virat asks her not to be stubborn and how will she stay hungry in college all day?

Bhavani folds her hands saying Sai will never apologize, so she will say sorry instead. She wants Sai to grow up. Pakhi felt she thinks everyone will end up apologizing to Sai instead.

Devyani tells Sai that her husband used to study medicine too and by now he would've been a doctor too. Sai asks her what is her husband's name? Sai bumps into a professor at college, he introduces himself as Dr Pulkit Deshpande.
