I think Abir didn't know that Kunal is marrying kuhu on meenu's orders. He thought Kunal loved kuhu for real but meenu manipulated kunal to run away from the wedding. Hence he brought kunal back. If Abir knew the truth, I don't think he would've acted the same way

That is my understanding too of the situation. I don't think Abir would have forced Kunal to marry if he has known the truth.

In the breakup phase he did talk that if Mishti gets married to nannu, his life would be ruined too.

Epi 81 part 1 - Abir sees parul going to the temple and offers to drop her. He also senses that she is upset and asks her the reason but she doesn't tell.

continuation of yesterday's scene where meenu had asked kunal to swear on her whether he loved kuhu. He says no. He says he took kuhu's name because abir wanted to hear it. He also says he feels bad as he is doing wrong to kuhu and meenu has taught him to never do wrong to someone (hain? has she? 😲) but then he says he is doing all this to protect his family and abir Kunal finally asks a valid question, why are they doing shadi drama? they can directly go to mahs and ask them to keep mish away from abir. but meenu knows abir very well. she says he will leave the house if they did that

abir is in temple and he gets a text from mishti 😳 and in between she also comes there looking as pretty as ever abir says he will call his painting wali to help and aww, the look mishti gave. it was too adorable. 😳

Abir sees BM and goes to take her blessings. He says only she can do something (ye mishbir ne kuku ki shadi ke liye jitne papad beley hain, khud ke liye bhi nahi beley ) He actually begs to BM for kuku. is this what you want meenu? 😡

Epi 81 part 2 - Mish goes to abir and says he doesn't need anyone. neither her not the painting wali. 😆 and abir is reminded again of teasing her as he doesnt know yet that she knows that she is the painting girl 😳

BM and BP are watching a weather report about a looming storm and mish brings soup for them. BP praises her on how she always wants to help others ⭐️ (chalo, they remember she is the heroine)

Nanu calls mish to check if abir is with her. they are worried as abir hasnt reached home yet. And our knightess in shining armor is on the way to save the hero 😎 She reached NGO and NGO didis tell her that abir went out to bring food as no one knows when will the storm subsides.

Kunal remembers an incident in their childhood when abir got into a fight for him. And meenu praised abir and taught them both to fight for each other (point to be noted, she instilled the same thought in them both, to protect eo. good one there)

mish getting restless as abir hasnt been picking phone. She leaves in search of him even when NGO didis stop her.

Meenu calls in NGO and they tell her mish has gone to look for abir (ye batane ki kya zarurat thi? )

Mish reached jungle (khun bhai?) to look for abir. on a serious note, she is getting all flashbacks about the time whenever he mentioned painting wali 😳

Meenu confronts parul and just then kunal walks in. He says he will go look for abir.

Meanwhile, NGO didi message her his car's number. it's shown that his car has met with an accident, abir is unconscious inside

Parul comes with prayer thali, Abir offers her a lift. Parul tries to ferret out information from him saying he looked upset, how did it go at Mah house. Abir catches her trick and says she’s lying, actually she’s the one who’s upset. The elders think they understand kids well since childhood but they forget youngsters also know them since childhood. Abir asks masi what’s the matter, what did mom say? Parul denies and they go to the temple

Kunal wants to know how Meenu can even ask him such a question. She says because she can’t ask Abir and he can see the result. Her son Abir is being controlled by that Mishti. Now she wants to know if her second son is getting trapped by Kuhu?

Kunal denies it, he says Abir has played such a game with him before. Kunal knew bhai wanted to hear Kuhu’s name that’s why he did it. Kuhu isn’t really a bad girl, but still he’s deceiving her and he regrets this! He feels guilty because his mom had taught him they should never hurt anybody

Haha what a joke! Meenu teaching her kids not to hurt anyone!! She’s the worst hypocrite ever! 🤢

Kunal says mom also taught him to protect the family and he’s doing exactly tgst! That’s why he took Kuhu to Champaner. He was thinking what’s Kuhu’s fault in all this but then he looked at his brother and realized he had to do it to save his brother from Mishti so he won’t back down even if he has to be the bad guy

Kunal asks his mom never to question his loyalty. He asks her but what was the need to hurt Kuhu? Why this wedding drama? Why couldn’t Meenu go to mah house and tell them to keep Mishti away from Abir?

Meenu says she’s scared that Abir will get mad and do the same thing that their dad did, Abir might leave them and go away. That’s why to protect Abir and punish that girl they have to play this game. Kunal asks what’s the next step. Meenu says she won’t give her consent so easily for KuKu alliance, then Abir will get suspicious and she won’t let that happen. Kunal leaves and silently says sorry to Kuhu that she’s paying for Mishti’s mistakes.

Abir sitting in the temple gets message from Mishti asking how’s everything at home? He replies it’s a daily soap drama, will run really long, is she ready for it? To fight such a long battle? Temple bell rings, Mishti is right behind him. Abir asks his partner he questioned Mishti and He answered? Instant?😆

He looks back and sees Mishti praying there, he says it’s another signal from God! Mishti spots him and gets startled, asks what’s he doing there? He should hide quickly! BM, Varsha auntie are all there, if they see him, a new drama will unfold,. Mishti tells him to leave from there. Abir says he’s the groom’s brother, why should he hide? He will come straight with wedding procession

Mishti asks what groom’s side? Abir tells her they went to her house with Kunal’s proposal, didn’t they? Mishti begs him not to be super weird 🤣and leave quickly, everybody at home calmed down with great difficulty but now if they see him ....Abir says okay, he doesn’t need her help, someone else will help him.

Mishti mocks him who else will help him? Abir says why my painting wali? Should he call her?

Mishti throws him a knowing look, then says okay! Abir is puzzled by her nonchalant reaction, he asks what does she mean by okay? Mishti challenged him to call his mystery girl, she will help him, Abir looks confused at not getting a jealous reaction from her 😆

Parul comes and says can they leave now?

Abir tells her MishKu’s family were here, he feels God gave him another opportunity to talk about KuKu marriage! What does Parul think about this?

Parul remembers Kunal snubbing her, accusing her of eavesdropping, telling her to leave

She’s happy Abir asked her opinion, she asks Abir what does he think? Abir says he can do anything for his brother’s happiness

Parul says she will wait for him there. Abir asks her will she stop him if he’s doing anything wrong, she agrees happily

Mishti wondering why did she have to talk about the painting girl? Well Abir brought it up first, he never leaves a chance to talk about her. But she herself is in the painting ❤️

BM comes and asks why she’s lost in thought

As BM Mishti and other two proceed with the prayer thali, Abir suddenly appears and takes the thali from BM asking Mishti why BM is carrying it and he snatches it from her (so weird) tells the priest to take good care of the Mahs 😆🤪

BM takes the pooja thali from Abir and tells him they will manage. Abir says he knows only she take care of things now. BM greets the priest and they do their prayers

As they are leaving Abir suddenly dives at her feet, 😆BM is surprised and blessed him may God fulfill all his wishes. Abir says now his wishes will come true as he got the blessings of Mishti’s BM

Abir kneels at her feet and says he knows they’re worried about Kuhu, if she’s blamed for anything at their house after marriage who will defend her? He will defend her. Kunal is his younger brother and he will look after Kuhu like a sister. Kuhu will know how it feels to have an older brother. Parul looks emotional hearing this.

Achha so this is why Abir took Kuku’s side over Mishti because he promised BM at the temple to look after Kuhu like a younger sister. But he conveniently forgot all the promises he made to Mishti at the same temple and the promises he made to BP when he asked for Mishti’s hand

BM tells Abir his mom won’t agree. Abir says if he brings his mom to mah house will BP agree then? BM says she cannot comment on that and leaves.

Mishti tells Abir he doesn’t need anyone’s help, neither hers nor the painting girl’s. Abir asks should he tell her who was the girl in the painting? A bell rings in his heart whenever he thinks about her. Mishti thinks oh no she mentioned the painting again. Abir asks does she want to know her name? Mishti says she’s not interested. Abir says but he wants to tell her how special that girl is to him, how amazing...Mishti tells him to stop! She has to go home! Abir asks what’s wrong with her? Mishti retorts what’s wrong with him? There’s a big question Mark on his brother’s wedding and he’s stuck on his painting, there’s a right time to talk about arts and crafts. He should go to Kunal as he might be needed there.

yeah meenu teaching her kids to not hurt anyone was a joke indeed but have to admit one thing, she raised good kids 👍🏼 abir was a gem of a person and kunal was also a good guy (mostly)

Kunal wasn’t really a good guy, he was quite nasty and a willing co conspirator of Meenu. He was also quite vengeful as his motive for plotting against Mishti was not only to protect Abir but also his fury at her for rejecting him. He used Kuhu, deceived her quite cruelly. Like Mishti told Abir who was defending his Nanko,(episode 152) if Kunal is old enough to vote, old enough to run a company he should be old enough to know right from wrong! That spiking Nannu’s drink and lying about it when Abir asked if he had done anything wrong since his fake marriage to Kuhu...that was an unforgivable crime of Kunal’s.

As for Abir he may have a heart of gold but he suffered from moral cowardice as he usually ran from the truth and didn’t have the courage to stand up for Mishti when most needed!
He fulfilled his promises about Kuhu and always defended or protected her till surrogacy track but he broke all his promises to Mishti and to BP
And anyway Meenu didn’t raise Abir at least, he was looked after more by Parul and Nidhi

Meenu is the ultimate manipulator, she made Abir beg and kneel to get Mahs agree to KuKu wedding then she used desperate Kuhu to throw Mishti out of Abir’s life 😈

She made Kunal almost kill Nannu

Truly Mishbir worked so hard to unite KuKu while those two were helping Meenu to separate them 🤢
