You know, the one thing I will give the creatives a little leeway is on this, that I feel like when they envisaged the season, they wanted to do something completely different from before. No naagmani, no revenge, none of those typical tropes from previous seasons. They wanted to show a unique tale of the love story of a naagin and a cheel. It was envisaged (IMO) as a "forbidden" romance, but because it was within the structure of the Naagin franchise, they were hamstrung by those tropes that the fans of the franchise (rightfully) wanted. Hence the weird tracks. I share the exact same thoughts! Word. Word. Word. I would highlight your entire comment but especially at the bold. I feel like this could have been a standalone show - a 'spinoff' perhaps, with just the same name. It was meant to be a different show with a completely different concept. If it didn't have the baggage of the earlier seasons, the pressure of the Naagin franchise's regulars... and the TRP I suppose, they could have really made this show carve its own niche. Maybe one that would not have worked wonders on the TRP charts but one that would have been appreciated and remembered for a long time by the viewers and fans. Now they tried to appease both sections of the audience, and ended up losing the favour of both as well. Too many cooks spoil the broth after all. Maybe I am biased, but I feel like Naagin5 had so many things working against it since its inception. It ended up ruining itself sometime in the middle of the story only. (Pushing back the rant that is coming up 😆)

Should have shot the entire thing before airing. I want to see what THEY had envisioned. I would start a petition for it if it would have actually worked.

Sameeeee...everything from the timing to the (lack of) promotion to the struggle between new and old story ideas...it never stood a chance 😒

Fingers crossed for a runaway for real. Hope bhi hai aur darr bhi. Yeh impulsiveness I can only expect from Veer. Unless Bani surprises me.

I haven't even thought of what I would do not having them on my screens after the show ends. For all the flaws of the show, I am going to miss this and especially my babies so much. 😭

It would have been ahhmazing!!! Whatever stupid tracks mukta might be writing now, there's only a few visionaries in itv when it comes to romance...mukta and if you want slow burn angsty stuff its gul khan!!

Sometimes, i want to write a long rant to those who demanded revenge..because technically till navratri there was no revenge trope going on and the story was doing ok...it had its issues but it was still doing good. They moment they began the revenge stuff they destroyed it.

Mukta herself says she envisions romance in her stories..she writes romance. Godd knows why she begun writing the revenge trope..instead it would have been better had she handed the story off to someone else if ekta wanted to listen to demand of viewers and include revenge.
