Pranbir TS - The Engagement (Part 3B Updated on 31.01.21)

Plot :

After Diwali incident, Rhea decides to snatch Pragya & Ranbir from Prachi. Ranbir, being helpless due to Pallavi’s health, fails to talk to Prachi. After a week, in a party, announcement of Ranbir-Rhea engagement is made, which would to be held after 2 days. And now the D-day is here.

Part 1

Ranbir was standing in corner, looking disconsolate, remembering the events of past few days. He couldn’t believe his parents announced his marriage with Rhea without even talking to him once. He was hoping, after sometime, when Pallavi’s health improves he will try to convince his family for his relationship with Prachi, but nothing was working in his favour. The shock on Prachi’s features when the announcement of was made, kept haunting him. But that was just the start. After party when he tried talking to Prachi, Rhea came there and revealed about the bet, making things worse.

Everything was over just in the span of few minutes. Prachi left and he lost love of his life forever. Even though he was bound by promise, Pallavi literally locked him in his room. She even snatched his phone. He was not able to do anything. He remembered the time when he was in jail, it felt same. The only difference was that jail was better; at least Prachi always came to meet him there. He sighed sadly.

Ranbir and Rhea were called on stage for engagement ceremony. All family members were gathered around them, looking happy and excited. But Ranbir was hurt by the behaviour of his own family. Why can't anyone understand him? Dida n Chief, two persons who always get to know what he wants without him uttering a word, now were notable to understand his condition even if he talked to them clearly. All of sudden everyone felt like strangers to him, and he found himself alone even when he was surrounded by his own family members.

Ranbir went up to the stage and was given a ring to put on rhea's finger. Ranbir had enough of this stupidity; he found himself incapable to go ahead with the engagement and was about to yell in frustration, when one look at the entrance froze him.

Looking at his immobile state, others followed his gaze and were stunned to see Prachi standing there with unreadable expression on her face.

Ranbir: Pra…Prachi?

Rhea: Prachi? Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? (in her usual rude manner)

Pallavi & Dida didn’t say anything due to Abhi but their expressions were mirroring that of Rhea’s.

Aliya: Why are you here? Pehle hi bohot bura kar chuki ho tum Rhea aur Ranbir ke sath, ab main tumhe aur kuch karne nahi doongi. Just leave from here.

Abhi: Aliya, stop it. You can’t talk to her like that.

Aliya: But bhai…

Abhi: Yes, Prachi did a mistake but we have decided to forget everything and move on. Rhea has forgiven both of Pragya & Prachi and she was the one who invited Pragya for the engagement. Aur Prachi bhi apni behen ki khushiyon me shamil hone ke liye aa sakti hain.

Prachi was standing calmly, still not uttering a word.

Pragya: Prachi beta, maine poocha tha tumse, par tumne mana kiya tha aane se. But its ok, now you are here. Apni behen ki…

Prachi: No, main yahan Rhea ke liye nahi aayi hoon. I am here for Ranbir.

Prachi’s words ignited a small hope in Ranbir’s eyes. He was praying for a miracle, was it happening? But his hope got changed into fear as he remembered about bet revelation.

Pragya: Prachi, tum kya keh rahi ho?

Rhea: See, Dad? Maine kaha tha, Prachi humesha mujhse sab kuch chin ne ki koshish karti hain. Now again, she is here for Ranbir. You already tried to spoil Ranbir's life by bringing that Maya, now what do you want?

Pallavi: Rhea is right. Sirf Prachi ki wajah se hum sab par itni mushkilein aayi, Ranbir ki badnami hui aur Rhea ne khudkhushi tak karne ki koshish ki…

Unable to hear the accusations, Ranbir was about to open his mouth but Pragya spoke before him.

Pragya: Prachi, I know you are hurt. Rhea ne mujhe sab bataya hain. Par apni behen ki khatir…

Prachi: Rhea is not my sister, Maa. Diwali ki raat Rhea ne jaisa aapke saath behave kiya us ke baad, mera us se koyi rishta nahi hain.

Aliya: Wow. Rhea ne kuch galat nahi kiya, galti Pragya ki thi. But look at the selfishness of this girl. Apne matlab ke liye apni behen ko bhul gayi.

Prachi: I am amazed at your audacity Aliya aunty. You are talking about selfishness?

Aliya: How dare you? You are the reason for everyone’s pain in this house. Bhai didn’t do anything because you are his daughter…par main chup nahi baithungi…

Abhi: That’s enough, Aliya. Prachi, please…

Prachi: No, Mr. Mehra, let her say. I am here to end this drama once and for all.

Abhi: Mr. Mehra? Prachi, what are you saying?

Prachi: You heard it right, Mr. Mehra. And I am here because I might forgive the people who hurt me but I don't spare those who hurt my loved ones.

Abhi: Kya matlab hain tumhara?

Prachi: Batati hoon…par kya kaha tha aapne kuch der pehle? Rhea ne hume maaf kar diya hain, kis liye? Sahi hone ke liye? Aur vaise bhi maafi to Rhea ko mangani chahiye kyonki galtiyan…oh sorry…gunaah, gunaah to Rhea ne kiye hain...aur vo bhi bohot sare…

Rhea: PRACHI…

Prachi: Chillao mat, chillane se tum sahi sabit nahi ho jao gi. Aur aaj tak bohot bakwas kar chuki ho tum, so now just stay quite.

Saying this Prachi turned towards the entrance and others were shocked to see the sight. One police team was standing there along with Shahana & Sarita ji.

Abhi: Prachi, what is this? Why are they here?

Prachi: To arrest Rhea and Aliya aunty.

Pragya: What? Prachi, kya ho raha hai ye sab?

Aliya was shocked but Rhea was terrified.

Aliya: Oh please Pragya, stop pretending. I am sure all this is your plan, just like what you did in Diwali. You got Rhea arrested for Prachi’s accident and now again your daughter is doing same thing.

Prachi: Really Aliya aunty? You are saying this? And Rhea why are you looking so scared? Tum soch rahi hogi tumhare kaun se crime keliye police tumhe arrest karne aayi hain, right? Kyonki uski list to kaafi lambi hain.

Rhea: Shut up, Prachi. I am not scared. Maine kuch nahi kiya hain.

Prachi: Okay then, lagta hain mujhe hi yaad dilana padega tumhe sab kuch.

Pragya: Prachi, please stop it. Rhea is your sister.

Prachi: Not again, maa. Not this time. Kayi baar aapki baat maan kar Rhea ko maaf kar chuki hoon main, ab nahi. Aur ye baat aap bhi jaanti hain ki Rhea humare rishte ko nahi maanti, to phir mein kyon use nibhane ki koshish karu?

Pragya: Kya matlab?

Prachi: Baad mein bataungi.

Abhi: Prachi, bohot ho gaya, main manta hu ki Rhea ziddi hain, kabhi kabhi gusse me kuch bhi bol deti hain, par wo dil ki buri nahi hain.

Prachi: Oh really? Let’s see. I met Rhea for first time, when she was ragging on me, where I completed her dare but she couldn’t complete the challenge given by me. And then she asked on guy to kiss me, so that she can humiliate me by filming and circulating that video. Aur jab uski is ghatiya harkat ke liye maine use pure college ke samne thappad mara, to madam ka ego hurt ho gaya. And then started her revenge saga. Uske baad usne apni birthday party me khud apna necklace mere pocket me dalkar mujhpar chori ka jhoota iljam lagaya, Vikram uncle aur Pallavi aunty ki anniversary party mein khud khane me zeher milakar mujhpar murder ka iljam lagaya. Phir Ranbir ki birthday party me drugs ka iljam,..College picnic par apne khud ke murder ka plan kiya and three accidents, one injured Maa, one hurted me and third pushed me to brink of death. Ab aap kahenge ki ye meri galatfaimi hain, Rhea aisa nahi kar sakti, Main hi use jealous hoon isliye aisa keh rahi hoon, etc. etc.,…so let me tell you Mr. Mehra, I have all the proofs to prove each and every crime of Rhea.

Inspector: Miss Prachi is right, Mr. Mehra.

Prachi: I have cctv footages of all these parties from backup server, jo khud ko bachane ke liye kisine delete ki thi. Aur jo bhi log iss mein shamil the, unn sab ki statements bhi record ki hain police ne.

Everyone was extremely shocked after knowing Rhea’s deeds.

Prachi: Oh wait, I forgot about one of the crime partners of Rhea. Remember, Sanju?…Diwali party incident, mms scandal, 10 Lac robbery.…all these were joint ventures of Rhea and Sanju. Ofcourse under the expert guidance of Aliya aunty. Itna sab kuch kiya Rhea ne aur aap kehte hain ki wo dil ki buri nahi hain. Then you are being highly delusional, Mr Mehra.

Prachi: Chaliye ek pal ke maan lete ki Rhea hates me and that’s why she did all this to me. Par mujhe hurt karne ke liye apne hi ghar ki party me drama karti hain, apne hi guests ko poisonous khana khilati hain. Dusron ki chodo, khud apni family ki khushiyan, unki reputation, kisi baat ki parawah nahi hain use. Apne matlab ke liye kisi bhi had tak ja sakti hain wo, kisi ko bhi chot pohocha sakti. She is a selfish, arrogant, rude, self-centred, manipulative girl, who cares for no one.

Abhi was at loss of words. Rhea & Aliya were now scared and thinking about a way to save their necks. Pallavi was shocked and regretting her decision of getting Ranbir married to Rhea forcefully due to her ego, when she was aware of Rhea’s nature.

Pragya: Prachi, I know what Rhea did was wrong but it was all in past. Use pata nahi tha ki tum uski behen ho. Aur Diwali par tumne bhi to uska case wapas le liya tha, tumhare rishte ke baare me jankar.

Prachi: And that was my mistake. I shouldn’t have done that. But as I said I am not here for getting justice to myself. Aur mere pas faltu waqt nahi hain ye sab discuss karne ke liye…Aryan, can you please make arrangement for showing video to everybody?

Aryan nodded and complied quickly.

Prachi: Shahana?

Shahana gave a pen drive to Aryan & he did the requisite.

Prachi: So here is the engagement gift for you, Rhea.

Video started playing and everyone present there were stunned after seeing it. Aliya and Rhea were now horrified.

Prachi: Rhea is the one to blame for each and every false accusation on me and also the reason for pain and problems in all of your lives.

The mastermind behind Maya’s case was not me; it was Rhea and Aliya aunty. They brought Maya in Lohri party because of Rhea’s so called love for Ranbir. The first video was of Maya’s confession which I recorded at her home but after that I met with an accident, which was of course caused by Rhea. Second video of Maya’s confession in Holi party was stored in memory card of phone, which Aliya aunty removed from phone.

The third video was secretly recorded by Rahul and Maya. Aliya aunty showed you the video of Maya accusing me but she didn’t know that they were recording their whole conversation by another camera for their own benefit. You can clearly see how Aliya aunty gave money to Maya and asked her not to reveal about Rhea’s plan.

The last video is of today’s morning where Maya blackmailed Rhea using that secret video. And Rhea again gave her money to keep her mouth shut, when she was nearing the success of her plan to get Ranbir. So, did you like your gift, Rhea?

Prachi: So, did you like your gift, Rhea? But wait…that’s not the end, there is more to come.

Though Rhea and Aliya had proofs against Maya, as Maya’s family threatened to expose them, so they kept mum. Instead of confessing their deeds to save Ranbir, they continued to silently witness the harassment you all suffered due to Maya’s family. Aur apne so called pyar ka sath dene ke bajae, Rhea to yahan se bhag gayi thi, Ranbir ko fasa kar.

That’s not it. Aliya aunty had made arrangements for kidnapping Maya on wedding day so that Rhea can get married to Ranbir by taking her place in mandap. But kidnapper also kidnapped Rhea by mistake, so their plan failed and Rhea got angry because she couldn’t get the credit for saving Ranbir from Maya, although she was the one who trapped him in this case.

But wo plan fail ho gaya to inn dono ne ek naya game khela. Rhea ne suicide ka drama kiya aur us waqt Aliya aunty ne aapko Maya ka video dikha diya taki aap sab mujhe galat samajhe. Am I right, Rhea?

Rhea: Nahi, maine suicide ka drama nahi kiya tha…

Aliya: Haan, Rhea bilkul sach keh rahi hai..

Prachi: Really? Ok, to ek baat bataiye, agar aap ko lagata tha ki Maya scandal ke peeche main hoon, aur aap ke paas proof bhi tha, then why didn't you file complaint with police and get me arrested?

Aliya: Wo..

Prachi: I will tell you, why. Aap ko pata tha agar aap aisa karti to Ranbir ya Mr. Mehra mujhe sahi sabit karne ke liye poore sach ka pata laga lete aur aap ke karnamo ka pardafash ho jata. Aur isiliye aap ne video Rhea ke suicide ke natak ke baad sab ko dikhaya, taaki aap unhe emotionally blackmail kar ke sara iljam mujh par daal sake. Us waqt sab Rhea ke liye bohot worried aur pareshaan the, to aapko unhe manipulate karna bohot aasaan hogaya. Kyonki aise waqt par insaan logically soch nahi sakta, Right?

Abhi: I can’t believe this. How could you do this, Rhea? Tumne itna sab kuch…kyun..kaise…Rhea? Aur Aliya tum? Maine tum par itna bharosa kiya, tumhari sari purani galtiyon ko bhular tumhe Rhea ko sopa tha, aur tumne ye sila diya uska mujhe?

Pragya: Rhea, kya kiya ye tumne? Aliya, you are responsible for spoiling Rhea.

Prachi: Please, maa. Rhea koyi doodh piti bacchi nahi hain, uske paas khud ka dimag hai. She is already egoistic & selfish person. Aliya aunty just supported her and encouraged her. Rhea doesn’t even know the meaning of love. Kyonki agar Rhea sach mein Ranbir se pyar karti hoti to wo Aliya aunty ko rokti, Ranbir ke khilaf ye sab karne se. Par nahi wo bas chupchap tamasha dekhti rahi. Ranbir is just her obsession. Rhea sirf apne aap se pyar karti hain, aur kisise nahi.

Rhea: That’s not true. Mom, dad, please trust me. I really love Ranbir.

Abhi: Rhea, just shut up.

Pragya: Aap please shant ho jayiye. Prachi, I know ki Rhea ne jo kiya wo bilkul galat hain, par ye family ki baat hain. Tum please police complaint wapas lelo.

Prachi: Maine Rhea ke against complaint nahi ki thi, maine to Maya ke khilaf complaint ki thi ki usne mujh par galat iljam lagaya hain. Jab police ne investigation ki, to unhe Maya ke mobile se vo sare videos mile jinse sach ka pata chala. Aur police yahan Rhea aur Aliya aunty ko giraftar karne aagayi.

As I said, I am here for Ranbir. Usne musibat mein humesha mera saath diya hain, to bas maine bhi usi ki madad karne ke liye ye kiya hain. I wanted you all to know the truth, now what is to be done with the culprits is his decision.

Abhi: Ranbir…

Pallavi: No Abhi, not this time. Rhea aur Aliya ne hamara vishwasghat kiya hain. Us Maya ke joothe case aur uski family ki wajah se hum sab ko kya kuch nahi sehna pada. Humne Prachi ko galat samajha ki wo Ranbir ko fasa rahi hain. Aur Ranbir ko uske pyar se alag karne ki koshish ki…

Abhi: What?

Pallavi: Haan, Abhi…Ranbir Prachi se pyar karta hain…

Abhi: Par…

Rhea: Ranbir Prachi se pyar nahi karta. Usne Prachi se pyar karne ka natak kiya tha, mere kehne par.
