Raman went to the doctor and talk about amma's operation.
Doc-sir,let me be very clear.operation asaan nahi hoga.uss accident ki wajah se unke nerve mein swelling ho gayi hai.
Raman-just try ur best,doctor.unko bacha lijiye.paise ki koi problem nahi hai,kisi specialist ko bulana ho,even from abroad.just make it happen.
Doc-our specialist is coming,aap panch lakh deposit kara dijiye.hum preparation start karte hai.he said and raman went nodding.
He deposited the money and went to amma's room.ishita was sitting next to amma's bed when raman walked in and said-operation ek ghante mein shuru hoga.agar tum chaho toh ghar jaa kar change kar sakti ho .main hoon yahan par.
Ishita nodded and was going when amma said-aap bhi jaiye,sahab.meri wajah se bahut time waste ho gaya naa aapka.
Raman-aap aisa kyun keh rahin hai.kuch bhi aapki jaan se jyada keemti nahi hai.
Amma-nahi saahab,aap jao.aap pichle do din se meri wajah se pareshan hai.aapka business ,aapka schedule,sab meri wajah se kharab ho gaya.aap jao saahab.
Raman-first stop calling me saahab.agar ishita aapki beti hai aur main uska pati ,toh hamara bhi kuch rishta hua.aur jaise ishita meri jimmedaari hai ,aap bhi ho.jaise ab woh family hai,aap bhi ho.agar aap mere liye kuch karna chahti hai ,toh jaldi se thik ho jaiye. He said and Amma fold her hands in gratitude.
Ishita look at them and said -i think mujhe bhi rukna chahiye ,I don't feel like going.
Raman-r u sure ,I mean inn kapdon mein comfortable ho??
Ishita nodded and said-chahti thi jaa kar kuch simple pehan loon,but ab jaane ka mann nahi hai.i am ok in this cloth.
Raman-as u say,kuch khaogi,yaa phir coffee logi ??
Ishita-coffee.
Raman-main laata hoon.saying so he walked towards cafeteria.
Amma look at ishita and said-woh bahut achche hai,ishu.kabhi koi galti mat karna.
Ishita-chup karo amma,aapko kyun lagta hai main galti karungi.
Amma-kyunki tujhe sirf unke paise pasand hai,woh nahi.she said making ishita shocked.
Amma-but sach toh yeh hai ki saahab ,apne paison ki wajah se nahi,apne dil ki wajah se ameer hai.unki hamesha izzat karna aur unka bharosha kabhi mat todna.
Ishita-chup ho jao,amma.rest karo.saying so she walked out and called subbu .
Subbu was sitting with his friends enjoying drinks when his phone rang.he picked it seeing ishita's number and said-haan ishita bolo,sab ho gaya??tumhari aur Raman sir ki shaadi ho gayi??
Ishita-haan ho gayi,she said making him happy.
Subbu-achcha,toh abhi kahan ho .uske bedroom mein.tumhe yaad hai naa,tumhe usse khud ko choone nahi dena hai.
Ishita-nahi,actually hum hospital mein hai.amma ka operation hone wala hai.main bahut akela feel kar rahin hoon,tum please aa sakte ho??
Subbu-main,Main kaise??Raman ko kya kahogi??
Ishita-main kuch keh dungi,tum please aa jao.i need u ,mujhe darr lag raha hai Amma ke liye.
Subbu made a face hearing her and said-ishita,main aana toh chahta hoon.but main bahut dur ho.actually main appa ke saath aaya hoon unki behan ke ghar ,unhe chod kar nahi aa sakta.agar aana bhi chahun to aadhi raat ho jaayegi .but agar tum chahti ho toh,he was saying when she said-nahi ,its ok.mujhe nahi pata tha tum yahan nahi ho.kaash tum hote yahan,subbu.i am really missing u.
Subbu -haan,mujhe bhi bura lag raha hai ki main tumhare paas nahi,but kya kar sakta hoon.but I will pray for ur mother,woh jarur thik ho jayengi.trust me,he said and hung up the call.
Subbu-mera dimaag kharab hai kya,joh apni raat hospital mein jaa kar kharab karunga.tumhari Amma hai tum sambhalo,mujhe toh bas Raman bhalla ke paise chahiye,he said and smirked.
He got busy in drinking again when one of his friends asked-kya baatein ho rahin thi,yeh Raman kaun hai??
Subbu-koi nahi,tu apne kaam se kaam rakh.and let me enjoy too.
On other hand,ishita walked in and saw Raman sitting there sipping his coffee.
Seeing her he asked-kahan gayi thi tum??
She look at him when he said-dont think I am bossing over u,bas jaanna chahta hoon.actually tumhe nahi dekh kar thoda worried ho gaya tha.
Ishita-apne classmate ko phone karne gayi thi,kaha mujhe notes send kar degi.main jaa nahi paaungi naa,issliye.
Raman-ohh ,achcha aao ,coffee pi lo.operation start hone mein kuch time hai.
Ishita nodded and settled next to amma.she started sipping her coffee feeling guilty for lying to Raman.
Ishita-raman sir meri aur amma ki kitni help kar rahen hai aur main unke saath kitna galat kar rahin hoon.woh itne achche hai,main unhe dhokha kaise de sakti hoon.amma bhi baar baar yahin keh rahin hai ,ki Raman sir ko dhokha kabhi mat dena,main unki baat kaise taal sakti hoon.haan ,mujhe pyaar nahi hai unse,but unki bahut respect karti hoon main.apne pyaar tak pahunchne ke liye Raman sir ke saath dhokha karna galat hoga,bahut galat.she was thinking when amma start shivering.
Ishra got up seeing her condition and ishita said-amma amma ,kya hua aapko??
Raman-kaki kaki ,kuch boliye.he said but she didn't responded.
He ran out and called the doctor while ishita was calling her amma again and again.
Doctors and nurse came running and he started checking amma.
He wrote an injection and told Raman to brought it.he was going but stopped seeing ishita crying and said-dont worry,kuch nahi hoga.
Ishita just hold his hand for assurance and he went out assuring her again.
After two minutes,he came back and saw Amma was shivering badly while froth was coming out of her mouth.ishita was shivering in fear ,fearing the unknown.he gave the injection to the doctor and said-kuch nahi hoga ,ishita.kuch naho hoga.
She hide into him all scared and said-amma ko bacha lijiye, Raman sir.please amma ko bacha lijiye.
Raman wrapped her tight in his arms trying hard to console her,while she was crying seeing her amma's condition.
Both were praying to the almighty hugging each other when amma stop shivering. They look at each other in relief when the doctor turned to them and said- i am sorry,hum unhe bacha nahi paaye.
Ishra got shocked hearing him and he said-unki ek swollen nerve burst ho gayi and we couldn't save her.
Hearing him ishita lost her balance ,Raman felt her weight on him and hold her tightly calling her name only to get no response.
Raman-ishita ishita,he said while she hung on him loosing conscious and he called for doctor holding ishita tight in his arms.
