Sakhi the book we follow it's written. As per our tradition we belong on Sama Veda this was given by one scholar to us.Just shared. As already said it's not a compulsion to believe her existence..We believe it and we have some books on it..that's all

We celebrate Radhasthami and Radhakalyana..Our ancestors taught us so we do it and follow the books they given us.

We too don't believe certain stuff on books written..Entirely based on their family , tradition.

This is entirely not only belief and also tradition ones family follow.I shared for my friends who asked me ..

my signature does not states that the author uses this quote to describe the relationship between the two krshnaas govind and panchali both equally humans as presented in the series

and both equally divine/god which how vyasa presents them in mahabharat as narayan and sri

SP said Radha is mentioned in the vedas. She is not AFAIK. I won't claim to have read all 4 in entirety, so won't state with 100% certainty. I do know Radha is not mentioned in Mahabharata, Bhagavatham, or Harivamsa.

Only in later puranas written AFTER Gita Govindam does she find mention.

If someone is stating Radha is mentioned in earlier texts, it is sensible to ask for citation. Not to some Internet article, to actual verse in text.

True.

But Govinda and Panchali are equally human in the series and equally divine in the series too.

I do not remember clearly but...When Govinda is shot a poisonous arrow in Khandava, he remembers that we are all divine in essence and uses that inner strength to fight the effect of the poison.

This is what I meant...We are all divine in essence. We should listen to the divinity within and fight the evils.

As far as my opinion is concerned

On the devotional level Radha exists for me. There her existence does not need any proofs.

When Radha was first mentioned in Literature/Purana s is a matter of debate. In SB Rasa Panchadhyaya a Gopi is mentioned with whom Krishna went away when the other Gopis became full of ego. Some say Radha is that Gopi.

Historically I do not think Radha existed (Completely my personal opinion). But then again Krishna must have many Sakhis in teenage. May be Radha was one of them.

I agree with you Vyapti.

Not being mentioned in Vedas does not prove or disprove her existence of Radha Krishn.
