That kidnap part baffles me on a different level only. But say, she took them away because the kids were threatened by Vaibhav. And she tries to tell that to Vir but he's like, you shouldn't have kidnapped them. But she's like don't take them away, they're in danger. But he doesn't listen to her so she pulls a gun on him. But he, ever the macho man tosses the gun out of her hand. Then she's arrested. But she flees from custody. So he thinks if she's so determined to reach the kids, maybe there was something to her claims. And he goes to find her in the dargah and there he asks her about her reasons and she tells him. And he believes her.

There. That is my mad theory.
