These sound more like rap than songs.

Honestly speaking, I miss the Udit Narayan - Sonu Nigam - Kumar Shanu era. Arjit Singh, Atif Aslam etc are good, but not as good as these 3 were.

I like only one song of Badshah, the Genda phool song. The rest are meh.

50s to early 2000s were the best in terms of music, barring the 80s era.

These songs you posted will soon be forgotten, like the 80s...when it comes to music people only remember the 50s to 70s, then 90s to 2000s.

Better not to give any kind of attention to these numbers...I have stopped listening to new materials, only hear it of TV channels or once on YouTube because I need to be updated.

Its a matter of time - what I find crap music is what my kids will grow up and automatically end up loving

Also, the purpose of the song matters. If its a fun song or meant for dancing, then it doesn't need to have meaningful lyrics

For eg: Eena meena deeka. The lyrics are practically gibberish but its dance music, so its allowed

Another popular one: Mere angane mein tumhare kya kaam hai - song has no melody. It just has a simple, single hook and no melody.

That being said, there are certain basic qualities a good SONG (not rap) should have - acceptable level of lyrics and music composition and some melody. The songs being able to meet this threshold are getting fewer. ZERO respect for remakes - thats just pure laziness and nothing else
