A lot of revelation happened in this update.

So one man's lust for a married woman bought destruction of one whole family. When Aradhana didn't give in to Kasar's advances his ego hurt him badly and decided to ruin her family. In the beginning not knowing Karthik's interest in Alvira, he manipulated Karthik by badmouthing Arnav and his friendship with him and also brainwashing his mind about Arnav and didn't think twice to link his own daughter with Arnav saying he is lusting over Khushi without thinking what that innocent soul will feel if she comes to know about it. At least was happy to know that Karthik's interest and liking towards Alvira mellowed down for a while but Kasar not wanting to lose he moved his moves thru his wife saying that Alvira is trapping Karthik while she was engaged to someone else that really hurt Karthik bad. Not for a moment, he trusted the woman he claimed to love instead thought to give it back to her hearing his mother's words. It is not wrong to trust his parents but it is wrong of him to come to a conclusion without knowing the actual truth or confronting Alvira which is what he did. It was so wrong of Karthik to go to the altar where Alvira is about to get married, and he had to rip off her dignity in front of everyone which is not justified on his part to behave the way he did for thinking that he was betrayed by Alvira which made her lose her father in the end. Seeing all these having a second thought of wanting to see Karthik and Alvira together. Even though he was repenting for his deeds, doesn't want to see Karthik and Alvira together again. Alvira deserves someone better who trusts, loves, and respects her, and while on that not sure about Shyam also at this point of her life. Hope she gets her happily ever after with the person she deserves and also she gets her closure from her past to move on in her life.

So Alvira was not engaged to anyone else when she met Kartik, that came into pic later. Kaveri lied about that bit. But yes, Kartik's deeds are unpardonable.

In the beginning, when Alvira warned Khushi thought it was because of some misunderstanding that happened which is why she was tough with her, and also it was wrong of Alvira to behave the way she did with Khushi but knowing their past, Alvira is just protecting from Arnav getting hurt and never wanted her brother to go thru what they went thru in the past because of Vardhan's.

She is not naive anymore.

Till this update thought it was Karthik who left Alvira at the altar and he had to marry Medha due to some circumstances and also the misunderstandings between these two families are because of the differences in their financial status but whatever happened between them was unexpected.

No, it wasnt the case dear. He was at fault.

Loved Arnav's thoughts about Khushi and his restlessness in not seeing her and made sure she reaches the airport in time by guiding the driver in using the less traffic road. Arnav never misses anything when it comes to Khushi and makes sure she is comfortable indirectly knowing Khushi will not appreciate his involvement directly. Loved how Arnav so badly wanted to bring back the old Khushi who loves to dream and make her let go of her past and woo her back into his life again.

This chapter revealed all that had taken place between the two families in the past. And the flashback takes us to an era of zamindars and middle class where the zamindars no doubt were rich proud and powerful too but at the same time some were famous for their notorious character and one such zamindar was kasar Vardhan who happened to be a villian than a father. Kasar’s lust for Aradhna not only destroyed Arnav’s family but also destroyed his family. He misguided his son(karthik) and provoked him to ruin Alvira’s marriage so also forced him to marry a girl of his choice who he never loved nor loves till date. As a result of Alvira’s marriage being called off her reputation was tarnished in society she remained a spinster and owing to the bad name to the family could be Brijesh Arnav’s father committed suicide.

Still many things are still unclear as to why Arnav’s father committed sucide and how did Aaradhana die. Secondly how did karthik find out the true colors of his father that now he’s repenting of not marrying Alvira.

Devyani will be a better person to reveal all that.

Today Alvira and Arnav even though have struggled and have carved a niche for themselves in the fahion industry but they do not have peace of mind. Alvira can’t forget karthik despite the fact that she has said yes to marrying Shyam nor Arnav can forget kushi he is all set to win her back in his life for which he even ended his live in relation with la.. Arnav knows the road ahead for him is not going to be easy especially when the family especially Nani comes to know kushi is none other than Kasar Vardhan’s daughter who was responsible for destroying her daughter’s family.

Yes, the past is still haunting, esp to Alvira.

Hopefully this trip may bring about a change in the lives of Arnav and Alvira and hoping la too meets her match.

Wow I didn't expect this twist. I thought Kartik dumped Alvira at the Alter but he did worse than that to ruin her marriage when she was trying to move on and it led to her father's suicide. What was he planning to accomplish with that move. I don't think she can't get past that.

What a sick and cruel man Khushi's father was. Thank God he wasn't able to get his way with Arnav's mom or even sister. Such lecherous men spare no one.

Arnav has seen the vulnerable torn Khushi before too and obviously he feels the need to protect her and give her hope for a better tomorrow which he plans to give her. Perhaps that's the main reason to not hold the past against Kartik too.

Can't wait for the Dubai trip and Arshi romance.

I've only been to fanfiction.net out of all. And there too, I don't have an account... I just read a couple of Arshi FFs silently in the past.

Oh so this was the story of kartik and Alvira very sad his father created the misunderstanding in his young brain and polluted him with his evil planning and destroyed everything including everything.
