To me it was not natural. He knew Jasmine was going wrong but not really helping her or was able to influence to correct herself. Ali priority was Rahul, always plotting and discussing with him, leaving Jasmine at back seat. This was something frustrating her and she was feeling isolated though being in the group.

This is a clear case of manhood where Ali always thought that Jasmine does not matter in decision making and took guaranteed that she will follow his dictates. Her Jasmine lost her personality, keeping blind fait on Ali but showing frustration on weak houesemates.

Aly tried to make her understand that she is doing wrong but she never listen to him. She did what she wanted, so eventually Aly got frustrated and understood it’s a lose case.. so he was rather planning with Rahul, who understands him better.

I thought his crying was natural.. he might not see her for weeks.. when you’re so used to a person and suddenly they leaves.. it kinda breaks your heart

I think there should be third option GUILT . I personally think it was guilt . He got many hints from parents as well as from outside that because of him her game got spoiled . And it is true to some extent .

He was already thinking about her parents opinion about him when they visited and her evictions now somehow made him think that it is true and he is responsible .
