(and yes, that upcoming blouse is on another level 😲😆 like some big bow on wrapping paper hiding a gift😉😆)

It's because she's a gift for Veer to unwrap smiley37

I cannot take this further 😂 but maybe that gift box was a decoy 😂 the real gift was something else 🤣

I have no problem with her sarees but yeah sometimes its not suitable for situations. Like the blouse during her fight with gunda's was too revealing.

I used to love her sartorial choices until the first month or so of her marriage to Veer. But somehow I feel the creatives are going overboard with the fashion choices of Bani now with weird frilly sarees and OTT dresses. I am finding it hard to connect with Surbhi when her character Bani dresses so out of place in the household setting. I can understand wearing fashionable pieces but when it starts to resemble runway party wear with sindoor and mangalsutra, it just makes me cringe.

I also find it weird when she is decked to the nines in such an ensemble and heavy makeup, and then Veer or someone else in the family tells her to “get ready” for the party. Matlab aur kitna sajegi? 😑

I remember feeling such a disconnect during Ishqbaaz days as well when everyone would be dressed in some kind of a fashion ensemble. All would be matching each other in some way. Aisa lagta tha seedhe runway se ghar mein ghuse hain. I find that so odd.

Dont know if anyone else feels the same way but ab raha nahi gaya mujhse and I had to point it out.

Agree! In fact, make up is also bit too much.

Do you guys remember the episode where Veer and Jai won't believe CK is at two places so she would show her red eyes, more than her eyes her eye lashes are catchy?

Although I don't have any problem with her dresses, I doubt how Singhainas house have so much hyper grand sarees. After all, the house is full of boys.

To admit that, her style is changing drastically every week. In previous seasons, the leads take time to improve their fashion. But here it is super fast. Also, her dresses before marriage is too conservative kind of. Sarees are just attractive factor in the show to boost up ratings according to the PH

Also, none of her outfits are EVER REPEATED! Usually, ITV repeats clothes for the heroines,

I wonder if all naagins before this were dressed so boldly

Red - Really? I never saw sarees of other ITV heroines got repeated in any other episodes or the previous seasons of Naagin. In fact, male lead dresses won't repeat I think..

Blue - No, they looked elegant and attractive even by wearing homely. But as the episode passes, their dresses changed.

Aside from a few occasions, her look on that show was horrendous (as was everyone else's), thanks to the weird "creativity" of their stylist I'd much rather have Bani's uber sexy sarees than some of the rubbish Anika was made to wear, any day 😵😆

Surbhi wore modern dresses in all her shows after marriage which is very rare in television. That's so lucky of her.

I too feel most of the Annika's dresses post marriage was weird.

Yeah, pre-marriage in IB Anika mostly wore kurtis and denim shirts/jeans etc. - clothes that normal people would wear. Even post-marriage, there were some tracks where she had the most beautiful clothes (thinking esp in the lead-up to the second wedding), but there were some real humdingers, esp. during their party scenes, when even poor Dadi was subjected to the craziest concoctions Worst was SSO though...he started off super stylish but then they had him in, like blinding bright yellow suits with Mickey Mouse imprinted on the inside...and that godawful makkhi suit 🤪 who knows what nasha the stylist was on...Surbhi did mostly manage to pull the looks off, but many were cringeworthy and laughable.

Blouses toh abhi kuch episodes mein non existent hone hi wale hain. Bani will be punching villains wearing just the translucent sari and a strip of cloth as a blouse 😆

Initial sarees were indeed gorgeous. The yellow was my personal favourite and she barely wore that for 2 mins ka scene before being asked to change for party 😑

Ishqbaaz towards the end couple of months was just crazy with the entire family decked up in various versions of the same designer’s clothing line. During that time, Surbhi did manage to carry off a lot of looks but poora show fashion parade banke reh gaya tha

Haha, yeah, recently they've gone a bit overboard with the blouses in particular IMO. Nice sarees, but they don't match with the situations. In a moment of peril where she's fighting gunde her pallu's falling all over the place 😕

I loved her initial sarees more too - the purple one right after the marriage, the yellow ones, even that pink one the day after the wedding, which had a fully covered blouse but looked incredibly sexy. They felt like real clothes a real woman would wear at home on a "normal" day.

I feel like they saw her outfits were getting a good reaction from the audience so decided to keep trying to top the last look. Now sometimes I feel like they need to rein it back in. I have no issues with her sarees being uber sexy, she looks good in them, but some of them are so impractical for the situations she's in 😆 they should at least match the saree to the situation.

Bas yahi baat hai. It’s just weird when she manages to be a fashion icon even in the most perilous of situations. It’s like “fight toh hoti rahegi, pati toh natak karta rahega. Aaj kaun sa blouse pehnoon” 🤦🏻‍♀️
