As for this story, I'm dubious. 80 cr is a lot upfront. He's reportedly getting around that for The Night Manager but there's usually no back end on streaming so they always pay more upfront. In comparison he got around 35-40cr for War upfront with 40% of profits (another 70cr or so). He can ask for more now on that back of War but 80 cr upfront? Doubtful.

Is it confirmed that Hrithik is doing this movie? Because I do not want to expect and then get to know that he is not doing it, that will be very disappointing.

Ramesh Bala either announced or confirmed it, and all the sites have run with it as if confirmed but it hasn't been officially conformed by Hrithik - nor has it hasn't been denied... 🤪
