Honestly I didn’t watch the show completely ...Just few old episodes here and there... i agree they did have chemistry (sorry I don’t see it anymore.. just my opinion.. maybe because of Pranbir’s existence now) but it is because of their individual characteristics that I couldn’t hold on to the show..

Sarita aunty had a dialogue about how she didn’t see such a love story ever.. I’m thinking did she see how their love story was from the beginning?

They separated a lot of times( honestly don’t know how many.. please don’t judge me) but it’s always been because the character of Abhi mistrusting Pragya.. Trust is more important than love... My question is for the writers.. why are they just showing romance between them.. why not trust, understanding, maturity .. ?? I mean it’s not like they can’t show it.. Pranbir’s love story has it.. Touchwood.. ( hope they don’t change it) ..

Now my only concern is Pranbir.. I don’t want the other couple’s immaturity to affect my favourite couple.. That’s it..👍🏼

Agreed. I see it too at time tbh. I think it maybe because they too are just tired of the same crap and can't find it in themselves to put the same kind of effort in all the time. I definitely would be in their place no matter how much i liked the show or the money that came with it. Monotomy is exhausting and boring.

Sarita Auntie's got no clue what she's talking about. The woman's doesn't even now 10% of their story. I know Pragya's been kidnaped approx 16 times. the seperation is probably along the same lines 😂

Did you notice how her great grandma (Baljeet) didn't even greet her when she went MM in Friday episode.

I mean seriously this girl just knew about her father & next thing she knew he's marrying someone else and put the whole blame on her (+her evil twin). And no one from the elder gen haven't even asked once how she feels! I truly want Pranbir to move out of their paternal houses and live separately. At least they'll have peaceful life.

Bold 2 seems plausible.

Another option could be Pallavi excommunicating him after knowing his accidental marriage to Prachi, and Ranbir realising that the real world isn't so easy when you don't have your dad's backing. But that might require RP to separate from their families, which doesn't allow easy saas-bahu jhagda in MM. Another option might be Pallavi giving Ranbir's family biz position to Rhea as an apology, and she then proceeds to make RP's life hell using it as leverage for revenge.

Still wondering why the need for marriage- they haven't even graduated yet (have they?) and college is always a safe, easy source for stretchable tracks, you could easily do a year or so more of it.

No graduation, no job, but an easy marriage. I once 😆 at that scene where Ranbir told Aryan he'd take a 10 lakh personal loan from the bank to repay Prachi's money! I'd like him to try and apply for one after he gets disowned! 😛

Btw, does Pragya do a job currently? Sarita runs a catering biz, and Prachi of course worked for Vikram.

If there is ever a reincarnation track in this show - which isn't out of the realm of possibility - i want to see the Female lead as the rich, arrogant powerful person and tables turned.

A. I actually want to see Sriti Jha in a role like that. She's nearly always played the middle class/ poor demure sanskari girl.

Similarly, Shabbir nearly always plays the bad boy type of character. Seeing him as the stable on in the relationship would be more interesting at this point.

The same would suit Mughda and Krishna.

I hate that they never gave Pragya any progress in her profession to add to her character development. I mean she was supposed to be a professor ffs. *facepalm.

Also i've always wondered why they show the families in these shows to be so hypocritical. I mean for instance - most of the Mehra's keep chanting Pragya's name like a hymn but no one has ever gone against Abhi to find her. Why? Because they fear losing him? That's hypocritical too me. Especially since they know she has no family because lol her mom was left behind two leaps ago in the sister show.

The double standards never cease to piss me off.

Like i said, i love seeing the actors on screen. I'd like to continue seeing them on screen and together too because it's really hard to find TV leads with such great chemistry and ease that comes across in their scenes but i'd like to see them with a better storyline. They actually deserve better too because i think they have a potential for great range.

I hope at some point i get to see them in a webseries. Even the Altbalaji ones tend to have a more compact storyline. I guess that's because they are meant to be for limited number of episodes and they don't have to diverge off the premise for TRPs. Honestly web series are a gift for people who want good content in Hindi.

How the heck does this show still get the TRPs. How ITV works - kitchen politics rules. The more leads are separated for whatever reason sad good for TRP audience. They crave drama

Why do you think we had those rasoda, sasuraal simar ka type shows ruling the roost

Having said that, the TRP system is highly flawed, how can a small sample set of audience determine what billions of people like to watch.

its definitely doesn't mean people like dumb shows. We had daily soaps like shanti, swabhimaan back in the early 90s

Do actors really have such a strong base - Some do but they doesn't necessarily translate into TRPs Heck even BW stars like Amitabh, Sridevi, Karisma Raveena done daily soaps but their shows sank without trace

Does ITV in comparison have even shitter content making people choose this show - Not necessarily I mean look at Sonys shows they are quite progressive compared to other GEC. Even Star one had some decent ones however given the flawed TRP system these shows don't get their desired time to spread their legs

somewhere I feel this also boils down to people taste. Earlier people used to watch shows with substance that made sense they might not have 1000s of episodes but it still worked but our generation have so many options and they don't have time to sit and ponder on characters. Majority of the viewers of this shows are house wives who don't want to get into characters sketch their graph they just want entertainment. I mean any of the daily soaps even if you skip some episodes nothing changes neither tracks neither character motivation I mean bhagya shows are infamous for this. At the end of the day all the crave is entertainment laced with high quotient drama which these shows serve in abundance. Its like fast food you know its not good for you but just cant have enough of it😆

As far as the audience that want intelligent drama move to OTT given the plethora of choice they have so they don't bother with the shitty shows

Do people not have access to a lot of channels? Is it the time slot? Yes they do what alternatives the TRP aunties (who are the core audience for these type of shows) have. All other shows are either worse than this one or some variation to this. Like i said they only care for entertainment, logic has no place here. If we start applying logic there wont be any stretching of tracks, no character assassination short no drama.

This certainly doesn't mean you cant derive drama organically through logical tracks, however that requires time that these show writers usually don't have. Given the fast paced nature of this business many don't even have episode banks. When you have to churn out content at the pace they have to quality takes a hit and logic goes out of the window

Exactly! What Gen Z kid wants to get married midway through collage. I've been out of university for a while and i'm still not inclined, not for the lack of convincing from the fam though. 😂

I early marriages can happen in arranged type situations but most people in a relationship tend to wait to get married.

#dead at the loan part. He wouldn't get a dime without daddy's name and security. The kid wouldn't know how to function without his land cruiser and hair gel. Prachi would survive for obvious reasons but Ranbir would be like fish out of a fishbowl thrown into the ocean.

Pragya was shown to be a professor at the beginning of the leap but i've got no clue if she continued in Dehli. She could have. It would have been an interesting take if they'd made her a professor at the kids's collage. A - alot more interaction - pausible interaction - between the kids and her could have taken place. Would have also allowed for more interaction between Abhi and Pragya.

BUt no, of course, the writers don't want to grease their thinking gears.
