Yeah, feriha was looooong and it wasn't any different from our hindi shows here.

I used to watch all the shows when I was in school. Star one was my favorite channel. It was so underrated then. And the kiddie shows like. Shararat, karishma ka karishma, son pari and shaka laka boom boom were my absolute favourite. I don't even watch tv these days. Period. Only English tv series sometimes. The Hindi ones make me want to hurt myself 🤢.

Has anyone seen 'one tree hill'. It was my favorite. ❤️

The last Hindi show I was invested in was Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and that was also a decade ago. Besides that, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai was another favourite.

Since Shreya mentioned it I remembered I also watched the first season of Suno Chanda; it was fun. The second season was OTT with Iqra’s horrendous acting.

I don’t feel like watching desi shows, they have been such a letdown in the recent past. Although, I do want to check out a show with Bilal Abbas in it at some point, he is supposed to be really good.
I’ve never heard of Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein, it shows how disconnected I am from Indian dramas.

Okay, i dont know when ill get around to reading Layla but ill let you guys know when I do.😆 I guess her other recent ones are heart bones, verity and regretting you. Regretting you looks quite interesting, or maybe im just a sadist🤔

I dont like Iqra, she annoys me and I havent watched Suno Chanda. Imran Abbas is LOVE but sadly he doesnt get good characters

Ghum Hai comes on Star Plus and its a hindi remake of a Tamil show

It’s a good thing you don’t watch tv shows, the disappointment and heartbreak a tv show can give (if you are hooked onto it) is on another level.

I never understand why people get heartbroken over tv shows, or cry when it goes off air. I just move on.😆

I have never watched any Turkish show

Regretting you is based on mother - teenage daughter relationship. I couldn't relate to it because I am neither a Mother or a teenager. It would definitely appeal more to the said lot. Nonetheless it's a good read.

Heart bones was also good, not great though. Colleen Hoover gives beautiful touch to simplest of stories and hence makes them different. You would like it Hinna

Lets see which one Anam picks then.

How is Verity? Heard a lot about that one.

Also I think CH old novels had better stories right

Mystery/thrillers are the easiest for me. 😆 I keep thinking about reading romance but always find a reason to procrastinate. It's not even that I don't like them, I really do, but it's a struggle to make myself give that first push. I don't even remember the last time I read romance...probably Julia Quinn's work or Sense and Sensibility. That's one more reason I really want to read it this time. I really need to get out of my comfort zone.

I can imagine. It's the same with books and some movies. I get too invested in the characters, especially if it's a series. I used to watch TV shows, the ones that started with good concepts, but then they all degraded into the same old conspiracy-theory marathons, which was such a disappointment. I want to try watching some English series one day. I hear a lot about how good they are.

Oh yes! Verity is really good. You know what, the plot of REBECA reminded me of verity. I just hope they are not similar.

I have liked every Collen Hoover novel. Too late may be trashy but rest are good.
