Abhinav accused Arshi of being peverted and dirty minded. I guess Arshi does all that for entertainment purposes (which I don’t find dirty at all) and even in her season, she did the same with Hiten Tejwani. I found it cheap of Abhinav and rather felt bad for Arshi. She does go overboard without realising but I don’t think her intentions are to actually wrong ever. Infact her tone is also very funny and sarcastic when she says “mujhe mard chahiye” and all. It’s not that she actually needs one. She is having fun and yet Abhinav has the audacity to interlink two unrelated things just to save his wife from the bashing.

Exactly ! Salman tried to tell them in so many ways how he has tried to shield them. Salman probably saw his texts to Kavita and knows his hypocrisy.

Kavita is only one incident that we know of. BB makers must have a dossier on all of them.

And you’re right, Arshi is all talk and there are no skeletons in her closet. Furthermore, she is not there projecting a white washed image and acting holier than others. What you see is what you get. Anyone with a brain can see that she means no harm. In fact, through her, the boring samaan gets some footage at least when he gets time away from his suntanning, apples and oranges. But high IQ samaan cannot analyze that simple thing.

It's okay if you find Begum Arshi's statements to Abhinav offensive, but don't defend it by bringing gender reversed scenarios.

Such statements from "man to woman" are not tolerated because it becomes much more serious there. Women were always seen as a commodity or property of men throughout history. Men could do anything to women and they had to accept it.

This thinking is still very prevalent, so just not to promote it, such statements are not tolerated.

The other way round is tolerated because it's more like a fantasy or fetish.

Still if men got a problem with it, they can object, without bringing the gender reversed scenario.

Although Abhinav was fine and even enjoying such comments from Begum in first few weeks. If he got a problem, he could've said this before or after.

But bringing it in front of Salman to defend Rubina was wrong.

That too after he was saying that "two wrongs don't make a right." to Eijaz. It made him a complete hypocrite.

Rubina was actually bashed for thinking that audience are stupid and taking them for a ride by showing the pinky finger. She could've showed the middle finger. Many contestants have shown it before and they weren't questioned for it.

And yes, Abhinav was going on Begum's character. So what if she's open about her sexual thoughts or is openly flirtatious with men?

Should women not talk about sex? She's actually empowering women to be open about their sexual desires, when society always told them to keep it inside.

Begum is actually a role model for women.

I so agree about the what aboutisms that are always cited. False equivalencies used to detract from main point.

When it comes to Arshi and just her words, they become prudish and then you watch them embrace and gush over a Sunny Leone who’s actions speak louder than words. So what is it about Arshi that is so offensive. She’s not an eNglish speaking, slim, fashionable NRI. Even Jasmin was gushing and telling Sunny she’s has a crush on her.

P s . I have nothing against Sunny Leone or her profession or even Jasmin crushing on her.

Abhinav did the right thing. Arshi’s jokes are offensive. Abhinav always used to ignore Arshi when she went to tease him. I think I saw a video on Twitter , how abhinav was really uncomfortable. Rubina and Abhinav really have good tolerance level.. if I were in their place..she would be in the hospital right now...Rahul vadiya got MCP tag for talking about mountains and ocean but Arshi got a free license to say anything in the name of entertainment.

Well Abhinav aside, she is such, with the way she moves and carries herself and the things she says. It's a no brainer.
