Hmm but I think remembering him but still not valuing him,ignoring him will be more heart piercing for him,it may kind of realize him that how much wrong he had done with riddhima due to which all the memories she once cherished more than her life are now mean nothing to her....

But if Riddhima remained as obsessed as she is now with Vansh means like always forgiving him then maybe memory loss could be apt....

I agree the biggest punishment for vrs could be only indifference of Riddhima.....any kind of revenge from her side he would happily accept it so don't want that and also memory loss will not bring out that disgust from Riddhima of loving vansh so don't want that either......
