Hey guys!!! This is an OS which I wrote yesterday after seeing that horrible episode and treatment vetted out to Sai. It made me so angry about the kind of nonsense still being shown đ¤Ź. First question that came to my mind was did any of them actually serve the country and if yes them itâs shame.
Anyways I ended up writing this completely random piece wondering what if Sai had not married Virat and rather stayed in Chavan Niwas only as his âzimedariâ đ
It turned out to be longer than I expected and please ignore the weird name of the story I just couldn't think of anything abhi đ
Also ignore the typos as it's not proof-read. Hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it đ¤
Virat quietly stepped out of his room turning his head left right and left making sure no one is awake or that no one sees him sneaking out of his own room so late at night. He tip toed towards the room right opposite his and as he stood outside the room he heard her laughing and she was talking to someone, but who was she talking to in the middle of the night. Was it that stupid boyfriend of hers again, this thought brought a pang of jealously into his heart, sheâs got to be kidding me, talking to that stupid guy at this hour, what is she even thinking and with this thought he stepped into her room without knocking.
As soon as he entered her room he stopped at the entrance as he saw her wearing his sand-coloured jacket and his police cap. She was moving around the room in this attire with his police stick and she had audience in the form of his Aai, Jeeva, Usha mausi, Shivani bua, Mohit and some kids on a video call from Gadchiroli. He was amused to find her like this and leaned against the wall to see what she does next.
âVirat sir aise uthrenge apni jeep se full tashan me, aur apna danda ghumate hue bolenge aae tu idhar aa, ladki ko chedta hai, sharam nahi aati tujhe chal police thane tereko mai batata hu, aur phir Virat sir uska haath pakdenge aur apni jeep me dalengeâ so she was imitating him.
âSai yeh toh boring ho gaya nahâ said Ashwini whining about the situation not being as fun as the previous one she just enacted. âHaan Sai didi thoda aur masala dalo nah isme, chalo ab Virat sir ko uss admi ke saathiyo ne pakad liya hai, ab kya karenge Virat sirâ asked the kids on video call.
âAb ab Virat sir thoda pitenge gundo se, dishoom dishoom, aaaaaaaâŚ. Yeh Virat sir ko chot lagi aur phir woh sadak pe gir gaye aur phir entry hoti hai Sai Joshi ki, ek minute haâ she takes off the cap and puts a dupatta on her, looking extremely funny with the dupatta on the jacket. âHaan phir entry hoti hai meriâ âArrey teri nahi THE SAI JOSHI ki pagaliâ interrupted Samrat.
âHaan haan THE SAI JOSHI ki entry hoti hai aur mai Virat sir ko dekhti hu woh bilkul bebas lachar ghayal pade hai sadak pe ek dum yaha peâ she points next to the ground a little away from her and Mohit takes the lead and lies on the ground groaning and shouting for help. âPhir mai unke paas jati hu, unhe uthati hu aur un gundo se ladti hu, Virat sir se bhi jayda acha ladti hu ek dum Bollywood hero ki tarah aise aise dishoom, phir gunde jo bhagte hai aur jeep me baithe hai uffâ she narrates while doing actions with her hands of beating the goons.
Virat is watching this standing at the entrance pleasantly amused at her, this is when his Aai notices him and is about to speak when he tells her to keep quiet and she obliges.
âPhir kya hota hai Saiâ asks an excited Shivani bua.
âPhir buaji, Virat sir yu langdate hue aate hai mere paas aur khete hai, arrey ek minuteâ she runs and takes the cap back while leaving her dupatta out.
âThank you Sai Joshi aaj tumne ek police officer ki hi nahi balki ek gabar ki bhi izzat bachai hai, bahut acha, mai tumhara yeh ehsaan zindagi bhar nahi bhul sakta huâŚâ and on she goes with her speech of Virat praising her while everyone around keeps asking her what more would Virat say but as soon as they see Virat standing on the door they all shut up.
âArrey aap sab chup kyu ho gaye pucheye na aur, mere pass bahut kuch hai batane koâ Sai said jumping with joy.
âAur kya kheta maiâ asked an amused Virat while walking towards her.
âAur phir Virat sir kehte Sai tum mujhe gabar samajhti thi woh bilkul galat hai kyuki mai gabar nahi balki Gabar, Mogambo aur Shakaal ka deadly combination hu par phir bhi mujhe tumhari zarrorat padi apni jaan bachane ke liyeâ
âAur phirâ Virat asked once again getting closer to her.
âPhir, phir Virat sir khete ki Sai kya tumâŚâ she stopped midway realizing that it was Virat who was asking her the question and that he was right behind her. She bit her tongue as she ran and hid behind her Aai and Samrat Dada.
âPhir mai kya kheta Saiâ quizzed Virat raising one of his eyebrows.
âMujhe kya pata aap kya khete itna toh apko bhi pata hona chahiye nah Virat sir sab kuch mai hi thodi bataungi aapkoâ Sai said peeping out from between Ashwini and Samrat.
âTum zara bahar toh aao Saiâ requested Virat
âNaaaahi aap meri class lenge mujhe pata haiâ she hid behind Ashwini and Samrat once again.
âArrey mai kuch nahi kahunga bahar toh aaoâ he said reassuring her that he wonât say anything to her.
At this Sai steeped out from her hideout and stood with her head down like a student caught cheating in an exam. Virat walked up to her and took his cap back.
Sai raised her head and tried offering an explanation âVirat sir maine kuch nahi kiya yeh sab logo ne mujhe majboor kiya tha apki nakal karne ke liyeâ. Virat gave her a look asking really?
âSachi mai, woh Samrat Dada aur Mohit khene lage ki mai apkiâŚâ
âChal jhutiâ Samrat and Mohit shouted from behind and at this Sai gave them a death glare.
âShiva tujhe nahi pata yeh kya kya kheti hai tere bare me humse, aaj bhi issi ne kaha tha ki mai Virat sie ki kya nakal nikalti hu aur toh aur tere room se tere kapde aur teri cap aur haan yeh danda bhi yehi layi thiâ Samrat said dramatically while handing over the stick to Virat, while Mohit also agreed with Samrat.
âAaye tum dono meri beti ko tang maat karo samjhe aur Virat toh kya ho gaya agar isne teri nakal utar li toh, itni pyari toh laag rahi thi teri nakal karte hueâ soon came Ashwiniâs response in defence of her daughter and the kids from Gadchiroli agreed as well, âHaan didi kitni funny acting karti hai aur waise bhi abhi 5 minutes me unka birthday hai toh itna toh chalta haina Uncle pleaseâ
Everyone burst out laughing seeing Viratâs reaction on being called Uncle. âBeta unko bhaiya bolo, Uncle jitney bade nahi hai woh abhiâ said Samrat while he tried hard to control his laughter. As the kids agreed everyone started running around while they asked Sai to wait outside the room. As the clock struck 12 everyone asked Sai to enter the room and she was pleasantly shocked to see the room full of balloons and in the centre was her favourite cake behind which her friends were standing with more balloons.
She walked up to each member present in the room to take wishes from them and blessings from the elders. âYaar Sakshi, Aditi, Anushka thaaaank you so much mera birthday itna special banane ke liye tum log itni raat ko yaha aaye means a lot yaar guysâ Sai thanked her friends excitedly.
âAur mujhe thank you kaun bolega yeh sab plan karne ke liye aur sab ko yaha lane ke liyeâ came a familiar voice from behind the girls and Saiâs eyes lit up seeing her best friend Arjun. She ran up to him and started thanking him, joking with him and laughing with him which irritated Virat. Seeing this Samrat walked up to Virat âShiva kuch jaal raha hai nahâ he asked in a serious tone.
âHuh kya kahaâ asked a frantic Virat.
âTu aur tera bechara dilâ Samrat said with a smug on his face.
âJeeva kuch bhi maat bolâ
âDekh Shiva mujhse toh tu jooth maat hi bol, aur waise bhi mujhe aur Ashwini mami ko Sai pasand teri baiko ke roop meinâ winked Samrat while Virat tried his best to hide his blush.
Before Virat could retaliate Ashwini called everyone for cake cutting. As the cake was cut everyone wished Sai again while she fed cake to all the family members first (including Virat) and then to her friends. Her friends handed over the gifts to her and when Ashwini was going to give her gift to Sai, Shivani bua shouted from the door âTMK&C gang ALERT ALERTâ.
Hearing this everyone started running around looking for a place to hide, all her friends jumped out of the balcony after giving a quick hug to Sai including Arjun which didnât go unnoticed by Virat. All the ladies quickly hid the cake and gifts, switched off the lights and hid in the bathroom along with the balloons. While Samrat and Mohit hid under the bed, Sai quickly went into her bed and opened her blanket when she noticed Virat was struggling to find a place to hide. âVirat sir jaldi chup jayiye warna aaj apke saath saath hum sab ki shamat aa jayegiâ she whispered.
âTumhe koi corner dikh raha hai jaha mai chup sakuâ Virat retorted quickly. The next moment they heard footsteps getting closer to the room and boom the TMK&C gang opened the door.
âVahini yaha toh ek dum black, andhera, shanti hai, hume kuch kaise dikhegaâ asked Sonali.
âVahini mai light on karta huâ saying this Omi quickly switched on the light to see Sai sleeping on her bed while everything else looked all clear and fine so the TMK&C gang left switching off the light.
Fortunately for all of them Samratâs quick thinking had saved the day as he pushed Virat into the bed and quickly put over a blanket over him with some of Saiâs clothes on top as well.
Virat was feeling super awkward being with Sai in her bed on her side, it was evoking all sorts of weird feelings. As he realized that Kaku and others had left he started to get up when Sai pulled him with force and he ended up falling on top of her.
âVirat sir yeh aap kya kar rahe hai TMK&C gang abhi bahar hi hai woh 15-20 minutes tak wait karenge phir room check karenge aur phir apne apne rooms me jayenge, abhi yaha se hile ya light on ki toh sab ki shamat aa jayegiâ
âTumhe itna sab kaise malum hai aur yeh TMK&C gang kya haiâ asked a confused Virat while trying to control his feelings.
âArrey apko kaise malum hoga aap humari S3 DAMU gang ka hissa joh nahi hai, aapne humari koi meeting bhi attend nahi ki hai pata nahi aaj kaise aa gaye aap yahaâ he gave her oh really now look.
âAcha acha woh TMK&C toh Totally Mental Kaku & the Chakrams gang hai jisme khushiyo ke dushman shamil hai jaise Kaku, Baba, Omi Kaka, Sonali Kaku aur Pakhi didiâ she said while counting the members on her fingersâ Virat giggled at this and asked what is the S3 DAMU gang now.
âWoh iss ghar ki khushiyo ki rakhwali karne walo ka gang hai jisme hai Shivani bua, Samrat Dada, Devyani tai, Aai, Mohit, Usha Mausi aur Sai Joshi the greatâ she said beaming with mischief, pride and joy.
âSai Joshi the great huhâ Virat questioned her with a teasing look.
âHaan toh hu mai great aap kisise bhi puch lo, Aai, Samrat Dada, Usha Mausi, ShiâŚâ
âPata hai pata hai, woh sab toh tumhe sar pe rakhte hai apne toh great hi bolenge nahâ
âToh aap mere friends se bhi puch sakte hai jaise Sakshi, Aditi ya Arjun, woh hamesha sach bolta hai waiseâ
âArjun woh chuchundar, koi zarrorat nahi hai, waise tum usse door raha karo tumhare liye thik nahi hai wohâ
âAap chid kyu rahe hai aur mujhe kaunsi usse shadi karni hai jo woh mere liye thik nahi haiâ Sai asked giggling
âToh tum uske saath timepass kar rahi hoâ asked a shocked Virat
âWhat do you mean timepass, dost hai woh meraâ
âReally now, sirf dost haiâ
âHaan aur kya hogaâ
âAcha mujhe nahi pata tha ki dosti me ek dusre ka haath pakadte hai, coffee share karte hai, roses dete hai aur I love you meri jaan bhi khete hai, agar tumhare liye dosti ka yeh matlab hai toh god save you aur waise bhi yeh sab juth tum gharwalo se bolo woh believe kar lenge mujhe sab sach pata hai dekha hai maine tum dono koâ Virat was getting irritated now at her labelling him as sirf dost again and again even after he has seen them together.
âKya bakwas kar rahe hai aap, yeh sabâŚâ realization dawned upon Sai
âAap mujhpe nazar rakh rahe hai kya Virat sirâ Sai was angry now, how dare he keep an eye on her and call her a liar.
âNaâŚnahi toh mai kyu nazar rakhunga tumpe, woh toh bas ek din tum dono ko dekh liya tha by chance ek cafĂŠ meinâ
âVirat sir toh mujhse puch lete nah woh toh mai bas uski help kar rahi thi ki ladkiyo se kaise baat karte hai, Arjun ko Aditi pasand hai aur woh usse propose karna chahta tha basâ
âArjun ko Aditi pasand hai, of course Arjun ko Aditi pasand hai, I knew thatâ he kept repeating the last words again and again.
âAap pagal ho gaye haiâ Sai said shaking her head
Dhoom came a small thud from under the bed.
âTum dono kitni bate karte ho, TMK&C gang kabhi bhi aate honge chup ho jayo yaarâ Samrat whispered peeping out a little from Viratâs side of the bed. He then grabbed a pillow and smacked Virat hard because he was still continuously murmuring something.
Due to the sudden force Virat fell harder on top of Sai and in trying to avoid hitting her face he leaned his face on the right side thus resting his lips on her cheeks longer than he should have which made both of them turn red like tomatoes. Before he could say anything Samrat grabbed him and put him back on the bed while arranging the clothes to make it look like a mess.
The TMK&C gang walked back in and were satisfied that the jungli mulgi was actually sleeping and hence they left the room for good.
Everyone waited for two minutes before coming out while Sai and Virat were still lying on the bed all flustered and shocked due to the recent happenings. Samrat got out from under the bed removed Saiâs clothes and the blanket asking Virat to come out while the ladies helped Sai to get up.
Everyone ate the cake, gave gifts to Sai and decided to retire for the night. Sai said bye to everyone as they all left one by one so as to be not caught by the TMK&C gang. In the end only Samrat and Virat were left when Sai asked where Samrat plans to spend the night as according to the family his train arrives tomorrow morning. After a few discussions Samrat decided to sleep / hide in Viratâs room. Virat was not happy with this thought as he had other plans in mind but alas, they all would go down the drain now.
Samrat left the room and told Virat to leave after sometime just in case someone sees them or catches them before leaving he winked at Virat and wished him all the best. Sai and Virat were the only ones left in the room now with a lot of awkwardness to give them company of course.
âSai woh sorry galti se ho gaya tha, woh Samrat ne achanak se dhaka diya aur pata nahi kya kaise ho gayaâŚâ Virat went on to blabber.
âItâs ok Virat sir apko safai dene ki zaroorat nahi hai, waise sab ne mujhe gift diya par apne toh kuch bhi nahi diya, mujhe toh laga tha ki aap bhi mere liye gift layengeâ Sai said with a puppy face lightening the whole mood.
âOf course, mai tumhare liye gifts laya hu Sai, waise Samrat abhi shower le raha hoga tab tak mai jaldi se tumhara gift le aata hu thik haiâ saying this he ran towards his room.
Sai jumped with excitement at the mention of gifts and not just a gift and the fact that he remembered her birthday which she thought he would forget for sure. As she waited for him to return, she realized she was still wearing his jacket and smiled at the fact how comfortable she was in it. She quickly went and changed her clothes and when she stepped out of the bathroom, she saw Virat standing there with a hell lot of candy floss and heart shaped balloons. She jumped with excitement quickly running towards him and hugged him tight muttering thank youâs continuously. At this a shocked Virat let go of the candy floss and balloons and returned the hug. A few minutes later both of them realized their position and the awkwardness was back as both of them let go of each other.
Sai quickly picked up the candy floss and started eating it as Virat adored her, she even offered a few morsels to him which he happily accepted. While leaving Sai handed over the jacket to Virat to which he said âYeh tumpe zayda acha lagta hai isse tum hi rakhlo ek aur birthday gift samajh keâ
âAww sachi Virat sir thank you, waise apne toh kaha tha aap mere liye gifts laye hai par yeh toh sirf ek hua nah baki keâŚâ asked a curious Sai.
âYeh tumhara 21st birthday haina Sai, toh mai tumhare liye 20 gifts laya tha joh tumhe during the day milte rahenge, waise abhi tak 4 gifts de chuka hu tumhe, FYIâ
âCandy floss, balloons aur yeh jacket yeh toh 3 hue Virat sir, 4th wala kaunsa hai, apki nah maths bahut kharab hai lagta haiâ Sai said shaking her head, when suddenly Virat placed a peck on her cheeks again completely flustering her.
âYeh 4th wala, baki aur bhi kaafi interesting gifts hai iss bebas lachar aur ghayal gabar ke paas tumhare liye baad me dunga abhi chalta huâ Virat said teasing Sai.
Saying this Virat left with a happy and content heart while Sai was just left speechless as she walked up to her bed and kept thinking about what just happened, she had started liking Virat long time back but he liked her as well was news to her, something she wanted to hear since a very long time. Both of them finally found the keys to their khusihyo ki gullak.
