@Raj Star plus premium (if launches) they can air weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly content. They can keep the shows duration length for 50 mins. The best will be ad free / less add channel like the HD ones. Starplus premium will only have an HD option because majority of trp audience wont prefer Starplus premium over Starplus so why an SD 4:3 option. They can start with atleast 6 finite series shows.

Now if they scrap Star Utsav then there are 2 gecs left (1) Parent channel SP (2) Sister channel SB. But they are probably gonna shut down Star Bharat.

Now after shutting down SB all could Star India do is keeping 2 gecs for hindi audience. Starplus that will air daily soaps and Starplus premium that will air quality finite series. But the difference will be where one channel will be relying on trp another channel will be relying on subscription. They can probably bring an originals airing hindi premium category channel at a lesser price tag which will attract a big number of viewers. Like this they can keep Starplus (Daily soap viewers) and Starplus premium (Class viewers) happy and satisfied.

Seeing the success of Starplus premium, every other network like Colors & Zee will too scrap their stupid Colors Rishtey and Zee Anmol, &Tv and bring a premium hindi category channel.

Star utsav is very profitable channel for them as it runs on no investment nd gets ad revenues from ads which are targeted for rural audience plus their audience is mostly on freedish rural area but if we check their urban grp they also gets very high urban grp compared to other free gec like zee anmol rishtey etc.....sometimes they even beats sony,zee tv, sab tv, colors tv in urban area which means ppl are watching their channel.....they are getting same profit or we can say more profit than dangal tv (previous topper) as dangal tv used to invest to get rights of various shows from other networks but thats not the case with star utsav their sister channel old shows are enough for them

Second thing i dont think premium model is gonna work in india.....just look at english GEC's star world, zee cafe after NTO they are in loss because of low subscription revenues(acc to sources star world is gonna shut down very soon becoz of low revenues)....premium audience moved to ott platform so thats the only reason its not gonna work in india

Earlier before NTO broadcasters used to sell channels in whole pack to various dth platforms nd cable operators so most of premium channels also used to add in every common house dish pack so in that way their reach used to high nd also they used to get high ad nd subscription revenues but after NTO now ppl have choice to choose their fav channel so now premium channels are literally on death bed so i dont think any network is thinking to launch premium hindi gec

Even i want the same but NTO messed everything.....before NTO star was ready to launch star plus premium but after NTO nd COVID its highly impossible.....look at star they dont want to any risk thats why they are launching only remake so that they can assure that new show will be hit
