This post proves Sanju was absolute bogus

Rajkumar Hirani, who is touted as the finest Hindi filmmaker, botched up Sanju's story big time. Except for the fact, Sanjay Dutt was whitewashed, his real story was not even brought correctly to the forefront.

If done honestly, people would have appreciated it so much better. Just read this IG post caption, you'll know exactly why I'm criticising the writing of the film.

This is just one facet but we know that there's a lot that's false in the so called biopic.

Sanju was an exercise in whitewashing, period. The movie worked because of the combination of a star-director and star-actor, nothing to do with Sanjay Dutt. People saw right through it, even in the theatre people were commenting how blatant this whitewashing was.

Rajkumar hirani himself indicated that the film is not a true depiction of Sanjay dutts life, hirani said his first draft of the script was too dark and realistic and that he was advised to change it to make it more lighthearted and fun so that it would appeal more to the audience

Sanjays dad was strict and it seems they did not like each other during his early years, but in the film sanjays dad was shown as this loving caring father who only wanted to help Sanjay again and again, but it seems that wasn’t the case, it was his mother who was the one that tried to protect him from his mistakes

How did this movie collect so much money? Sanjay’s movies are flop, did people really go to watch his Biopic?

The movie was nice. But not anything like Sanju's real life 😆

Yeah. It was highly entertaining. Ranbir also acted really well. But, it's not worthy of being called a biopic.

Whitewashing aside, they didn't even explore the real issues of Sanjay Dutt's life. The relationship dynamic Sanjay Dutt describes here are nothing like in the film. Certainly, the intention to whitewash Dutt is crystal clear now.

So Sanju also whitewashed Sunil Dutt along with Sanjay Dutt.

Absolutely! Sunil dutt had a problem with Bal Thakarey’s politics until he needed him to help him out with his criminal son .

For someone who has supposedly so strong ethics did not see how unethical his own Son was Or was unable to raise a decent guy.
