He is indeed a mastermind. He was soften only twice. Once when he fell in love with ridzi and when he lost ragini. Actually he is shady megalomaniac and sadist. He is grey.Only shortfall i find in him that he is blind to his family which i agree. But he is grey. Especially when he was Vihan and when he is planting Ahana makes him superior than Kabir. He was never a mastermind to Ridzi. Ridzi was his love and a man like him has a magnum shortcoming when it comes to Riddhima all his rationality goes away and he become a mad crazy lover. A crazy lover who loves his wife madly but at the same tine wants to hate her. I have never considered him Dark he is grey. He is too hurt and angry to think rationally. He is a flawed mastermind. When it comes to Riddhima he loses his mind.

Riddhima can bring out the raw Vansh. The string of the entire game is in his hand and always b. Kabir only could play bcoz Vansh bestowed his heart to Riddhima. Ahana is playing bcoz he is letting him to do. Bt the moment he will want he will pull the string. The thing is the last stroke will always b put by him thats why he is a mastermind but in this case He may win over Kabir but will lose Riddhima.

When it is about Riddhima....Vansh is the lover....

Riddhima is a river whose wave have swayed away the mountain like Vansh. Jo kabir 2sal mein nhi kar paya She did in 4months. So is it not obvious that Riddhima is exclusive and one of a kind bcoz kabir aur Anu jaisa shatir dimag jo nhi kar paya...Woh ek masoom ne kar dikhaya.....
