This season has been eclipsed by the previous season's disaster, and there was no proper promotion for the main cast - the Kalyug trio of Chandna, Malhotra & Sehgal. I'm sure, if this season happened after a break with proper promotion by the channel & production house, it would have been a commercial success.

I agree! That is the reason! But thee first episode's TRP was a swooping 2.1 or 2.2 something! So its not like people didn't give it a chance! They did! It had reached 1.9 too and was consistent for a while, but after that they totally messed up! Same tracks of previous seasons, recycled plots, all these things affect the loyal fanbase! They had so many ways to make this season interesting but they didn't utilize anything! Promotions do the 20% job, but 80% is the product itself!

Tbh, that was another drawback because most of the viewers who tuned in were Hina's fans who left watching the show post her exit. That is Naagin 1. It started with 4.2 but later the ratings hiked up. 5.3-5.8 is the average TRP and people loved the perfect cast and fresh and properly written storyline.

Season 2 didn't get much because of changing male lead. Season 3 got high TRP of 4.9

I agree. Hina is the only reason for the high ratings of Naagin 5. Even though Satyug part is not well executed, the hype at least for worked.

Then later, most of the Hina's fans left watching N5. In fact, Naagin fans (Following naagin since 1st season) too lost interest in watching the same repeated one. So, the audience of Naagin 5 is completely new. Most of them are individual actor's fans and some are Vani's fans.

Then later, we saw some disgusting content in the show so people lost interest in them. For god's sake, it is frustrating when some people are saying Naagin5 is better than season 1 or season 3. It is just a little better than season 4. Thats it.

It is very difficult to run a show by only keeping the onscreen chemistry. They need to have story too. If there is nothing, even Vani fans too get frustrated and unfollow the show. The franchise should end with this season and should never come back.

Really! I think bees were the only ridiculous thing in s1 and s2. (But bee track only doesn't have any plotholes) Other than that, everything is okay. In s3, some things are ridiculous. But s4 and s5 have only ridiculous things, Right from the start to now. s4 was over-rated (2.2 is too much) and s5 is properly rated. The makers are over-confident about this show

Also, Naagin is a new concept and the story is extremely fresh. It is a thriller and the hero is desirable and trustworthy and the heroine is strong and clever. The makers prepared the complete story before shooting the first episode. The cast were perfect. (At least for s1)

But one thing I like is, the separation track between leads is not dragged. Mostly, the hero trusts his wife whether she is a naagin or not unlike other soaps. It may seem dumb (in s3) but it is watchable
