I just watched that scene again, probably he did say that unconsciously.
I am fine with anything Vanraj does as long as Anupama stands clear on not having him back again.
I am predicting a track where Vanraj will be genuinely sorry and whole family will accept him except Anupama (And maybe Samar). Which will surely inflate his male ego and that one characteristic of his can never never change! That might be a point where Anu will leave this circus home too.
There was one very very old show starring Renuka Sahane named Kora Kagaz. There husband leaves new married bride for someone else and woman who was shattered picks herself up and moves on in life. Soon husband comes back apologizing to family and as expected people expected her to be forgiving. But I guess she did not and went on to marry her new lover in the end. This one was quite popular on SP years ago. But if a woman in SP show can take w stand for being betrayed within first evening years ago, hope it continues here for playing around with her life for 25 years.
I think CVs do plan to make AnuRaj a couple again given all promotions in Star Parivar and otherwise but that better not be before he suffers the hell on Earth! Him missing Anupama while staying at Kavya isn't even a penny of suffering.
Honestly, I don't care whatever he does as long as it doesn't involve Anu. Personally, I did not sign up to see romance.
The only thing I want is to Anu standing up on her own and proud. The motto they were saying a few days back that she alone is enough - I signed up for that.
25 years of marriage, 3 kids, and 8 years long EMA later - there is nothing in the world that can convince me otherwise. No amount of whitewashing is going to help. Maybe some will change their heart, I already see many in the forum going soft.
But I am sure there will be many who will think otherwise. If the makers are planning that, they will surely lose a fine number of viewers.
I think this is the issue with Indian serials - they lost grip of the original plot as they proceed. This is my first Indian show in like 5-6 years after Kaisi Yeh Yariyaan. and I really hope they don't turn this into unrealistic melodrama. They have already started but let's see - fingers crossed.
