And till now, I haven't seen anyone personally attacking the actors.

Well, I wouldn't say just because a show is popular, its FD will start behaving like a bunch of lunatics. I have seen it in YHC forum too. They are creeped out by the characters but they do appreciate the actors' effort.

NK and some other specific forum can't be their representative. I know I shouldn't have been, but I was actually glad when EBSS tanked. It was those crazy Zain and Shrenu fans who kept demanding their favorite and they bumped of Tanvi Dogra's character. It was great because she got a dignified ending and then the forced love story tanked like trash. I was so freaking happy when it did.
