Honestly I think you are arguing semantics. He might not have mentioned Katrina’s name but he definitely talked about hoping to get married soon. He moved in with Katrina for a couple of years and hosted parties with her at their place. He may not have mentioned her by name but it was out in the open that they were dating and living together. He even took her to the Kapoor Christmas lunch the last time he was with her. The same lunch event that everyone thinks Alia’s presence at means something now.

As for Deepika, I’m not a 100% sure but didn’t they make appearances at award shows together?

Alia is definitely not the first one he’s acknowledging. She’s just the first one his mother is acknowledging, and not cropping out of pictures 😆. She also has the distinction of being the first one to get publicly yelled at by him. His interaction with her after the premier of GB went viral and caused her fans to start a “break up with him, Alia” plea. Then there was also their whole bizarre interaction during that trip to Delhi where they met Modi.

Honestly, of all his girlfriends the one he ever showed any genuine respect or admiration for was Mahira Khan. That statement after those smoking pictures was something he never did for past girlfriends and I don’t see him doing so for Alia ever.

It’s an indication that Ranbir’s craze factor has reduced much since his dating days of super model and super successful girlfriends of past . Maybe he had to settle for Alia . She looks like a baby in his arms .

Katrina literally grew up without a father. Her nationality is always under question. Has a p0rn connection in the past. One of her sisters is into that business. She put up with a bully like Salman for many years despite knowing how he is, only because he was launching her and getting her movies. Her first film Boom. She's not even a good actress or ever earned the respect of people for her acting.

How is that comparable to Alia who comes from a well known film family.

Mahesh Bhatt has illegitimate children and his son accused of working with David headly ...actually more than accused ... he was categorically mentioned by David headley himself . Considering all this Katrina’s family are far better.
