Amit Paul as a competitor

well guys, I saw today's episode and was completely shocked to hear what the judges had to say, I mean I do agree that the show carries some rules, Amit was out for couple of weeks due to some infection, he came back but look at the other participants, I mean they know that he is a strong competitor and he has abilities to win, they were the ones who supported him and now they are arguing that he shouldnt have come back. My thinking is that if this show is about Kishore Kumar then the voice which is really near to his voice should be chosen instead of arguing around, the participants should have said that " we don't care who competes with us, but if amit's voice sounds like Kishore then he should be given the chance, as this show is not about winning the trophy, it's about doing justice to ksihore kumars songs and they should respect the fact if someone whose voice is similar to kishore kumar comes and sings on stage.

Would it be justice if someone wins but still doesnt sound similar to what kishore kumar used to, I dont think that is fair. Amit has a unique voice quality and everyone knows that fact in their hearts, no matter he didnt win the indian idol, but this can't be ignored that all the three winners of indian idol have less popularity than their competitor, karunya was better than sandeep who won the second title and of course amit is better than the person who won the third title. The votes can be given to your favorites, but truly speaking the judges knew that the winners were not chosen fairly. I like Nayan's voice and Arnab's voice on the show, but they need to show respect and support Amit if they think that they are on the show to do justice to the great legend.

but he wasn't sick enough to sing in his concerts...so i dont think that he should be here after lying abt being too sick to leave his house.

It is a Competition. All singers are working very hard. Amit Paul cannot come in the middle. Someone may challenge himself to be better than the present singers. So that's not fair. Actually Amit had to withdraw humbly.

But will he be in the competition or was he out? Please let me know.

Its kind of a tough decision as yes you are right that the contest is to get the closest singer to kishore and amit does have that voice and there is no denial to that...but as this is a contest the winner needs to come from the person who is the best among the people who have put in effort ...if not someone else who could not take part in the audition will then come and ask for a chance and then there is going to be no end to this quest and the contest will have no guidelines...and what about all those eliminated participants...there were some good ones...these are all kishore followers and that needs to be respected...maybe for NAgesh's movie he maybe can be given another chance but for this contest i have to agree to the judges. Also this has to be taken into account that he did do concerts. Whatever be the reasoning for that if he could keep up to that commitment then he needed to do this. He did not stick to this commitment and i am sure that that the legend himself would not want a person who was not true to the contest to win

Also another thing ...it was not that he was not given a chance before ...he was given a chance ...if shailendra or anyone else had infection would the rules have been changed for him like Amit . To top everything even today he was not totally fit so what is the guarantee that he would be able to continue for the rest of the contest 😳

I don't think ya'll should be so harsh on Amit..

If Amit had prior commitments i'm sure sony would have known but they wanted him on the show so the younger generation will watch the show & trp's will rise
& if they didn't want Amit on the show why did they wait for so long to make a decision???

They are trying to portray Amit as the bad guy but why are they going along with this if they don't agree?? 😕 What kind ppl...

Agreed there is a lot about trp's and drama....they could have asked prior to the show the judges and told amit no instead of bringing him back ...its just done so that people watch and have a right to know what's happing they brought him so everyone at home is a part and the judges and participants voices are heard by the public..because always is just read in the media and no one knows with the contradicting news what is true...now its all happening in a way we know what happened.

Lets hope that they make some right decision especially since he really sang well yesterday 😊

i would like to know if this show is prerecorded. becoz its weird that amit paul is supposed to be sick and at the same time he is doing concerts overseas.
i find it odd that amit pauls concert news is all over the media yet on k4k nobody has mentioned it. are they fooling us or do they think we are bewakuf?
why i think its prerecorded is becoz all the decisions are being made by the judges not audience polling, thus it seems like all the recordings could be done way earlier.
i have been watching it for amit paul i luv his voice.

Yup it is...i think they record 2 epi's in one day..
