I watched the movie, the starting varun scenes in the train station were overacting cringey but by the time Kuwar raj came, the movie actually kept making me smile, some good one-liners, and paresh Rawal is a comic genius actor, (miss kader khan) but paresh is very good. the songs are great, ( the tere siva song is missing.) the movie needed to be longer, it's very choppy and rushed. but It had me smiling with it's silly dialogues even though it was so over the top. my favorite line the welding waale glasses one.
varun was inconsistent, but he still is a very good comedic actor when he gets it right. he has too much of a burden, David Dhawan gave varun too much to do, he should have had more of the sisters, there was no meat to sara's and shika's characters. but they were good when on screen. rajpal Yadav was copying some shakti kapoor character, and even he disappeared , as did javed jaffrey.
I think the movie had a lot chopped off to make it 2 hours, it kept jumping around like skits.
not a 5 star movie but still a good time pass movie.
both varun and Sara were very inconsistent in their looks. Sara at times looked stunning but few scenes not so much. and Varun's dark makeup was jarring.
but still love the songs. and want to see the Goa song
and can watch the movie again, which you can't say about too many bollywood movies any more.
other than Mithun, srk, salman, I didn't catch what other actors varun was supposed to mimic?
