Well they managed to create suspense as we do not know who is actually innocent.

Not looking forward much. It's looking so boring from the first episode. I don't think I'll continue. This show will run on star power I feel.

I liked the first episode. At least it’s a break away from the stereotypical shows consisting of love triangles and second marriages.

But as Fahad Mustafa has said this show is based on the concept of misusage of the “ Me too” movement then definitely Noman Ejaz AKA Humayun is innocent.

Fahad Mustafa is getting on my nerves now.😔 Couldn't he produce a drama about "Me Too " first to highlight the important issue, before producing this one. This way ppl may turn agains "Me Too" movement , which will defame women who come in open to share the horrifying incedents in our society. Instead of encoraging these women, we are discoraging them by highlighting the misusage of it.

Exactly my point Awida. Thank you for highlighting this, I was actually going to comment almost the same thing right now lol.

To me I feel Pakistan is a country that many people already invalidate sexual harassment cases and think women are lying, or did something to deserve it. In such a society, it's better to make a drama about #MeToo or sexual harassment first or just in general at least for now. People will use dramas like this for reference and show that "Oh in this show, see how she lied, it's likely she is lying too". It's a sad reality that many still can not differentiate fact from fiction but producers know, and they should be aware. It's going to turn people against what the movement really is. Fahad Mustafa really needs to think before dishing stuff like this out.

I had the same opinion about Jalan but many people were of the opposite opinion at that time that it’s just entertainment and nobody is influenced by what they show on TV. Regardless of what they showed Minal Khan’s end. And there are so many shows churning out in which a sister is against her own sister.

Judging by the past history shows highlighting sexual harassment should be handled carefully else they become like Ruswai which ultimately became a saas bahu drama and focused more on the watta satta of siblings than Justice for Sana.

I guess this show could have been classified as a mystery if FM would not had let the cat out of the bag that it’s based on misusage of the movement.

While I understand that a show highlighting me too in a positive light would have been better but unfortunately our writers lack the insight or the commercialisation demands of ratings make them turn into something different rather than a lesson or an inspiration of power for victims.

I don't know what to say.. Dar Khuda Se was promoted as a drama about Me Too . But it turned out to be a family drama.. with Sana coming in open about the harrassment only after her sister got divorced from Imran. 😔 Also in Deewangi there was a small part about Hiba coming on tv to expose the harrasser who threw acid on her friend.. and in the end she accused Danish of harrassment. Those 2 dramas payed a small attention to this important topic . I hope more dramas do justic to the topic.😊

Did you read about Misha Shafi and Ali Zafar case? The latest news is that Misha and her group are accused of fake allegations about Ali Zafar . 🤓

I kind of agree with you when it comes to common issues in our society like: domestic violence, and betrial. But a new a topic like "Me Too" is media oriented. It is discussed through newspapers, tv , and social media . Tv plays a huge part in discussing it , so dramas needs to be highlighted in first before we talk about fake ones. Society needs to address them first before doubting about them being true or fake.😒

Ruswai was better than many other dramas which showcased the same topic and turned out to marriage dramas.. which the harrasser becoming a good husband .🤢 At least in Ruswai the guys were sent to jail.😊 We saw how the girl suffered but emerged winner and stood on her feet again to fight for herself.

I agreed with you but we can't deny that all fingers are not equal. Similarly all MeToo cases maybe are not be true.

But I actually don't like FM as person and as producer. His logic is baseless. He is actually showing bad side in his dramas. In jalan what kind of message he tried to give? There is no message just promotion of Suicide, cheapness. Same goes with nand which only revolves around family politics and now its completely following the footsteps of star plus soap by that plaster surgery of nand.

And in this one again he is trying to give wrong message I won't deny that all me too cases may not be right but the ratio of wrong cases would be very low but unfortunately he is highlighting that 1 or 2% cases.
