well they seem hell bent on making kinnars to be a third gender and people who are either ostracised or victimised...all they want to show is that kinnars must remain kinnars and forever be treated badly ..there’s really no empowerment in this show ..Ok..if they want to keep heer a kinnar..it’s fine..because when I was reading up on intersex people ..many of them want to be accepted for who they are and how their bodies are ..and many were not happy with the surgeries they had to correct their sexual/ reproductive organs ..But obviously there are many who have had successful operations and are either leading lives and identifying themselves as woman or man., So Shakti writers need to decide what they want to show...because I think they are confused and unrealistic...they insist on keeping heer a kinnar yet they are trying to make her lead the life of a normal woman..and marry a normal man..Originally posted by: burnnotice

It’s like a big joke/a mockery to them. Ppl can’t imagine Heer doesn’t know she’s a Kinnar and are mocking her and the show on IG. It’s so embarrassing I tell ya. The writers are a waste. I don’t know what they expected to happen after marrying Heer off🙄 I would have preferred they didn’t and make her independent and an activist for the Kinnar community. Like I don’t even wanna know what’s in store for us now she’s found out she’s a Kinnar. I imagine pure crap.
Today’s episode was bleh. They ended off Shergill’s character like a wimp. Felt bad for the actor 😭😭 I’m hoping Angel is over too. Don’t like her anymore 😎 Also, I cringed at Heer and Virat’s James Bond like water exits...what was that😳🤣🤣🤣 Their scene after was nice tho. Again, the editing was a mess when they returned home. They didn’t shoot together and it was damn obvious. Smh.
exactly ..I really don’t know why they got her married if they want to keep her as a kinnar., why must Virat be denied a normal life with intimacy and children.. These writers need to decide what they want to show...season 1 was a disaster as they showed that there is nothing but pain for the kinnar and her lover.. I hope the story changes and they don’t copy season 1. In season 1 soumya did not have a big family to support her or a family home she could return to. Here I hope they show both heer and virat go live with preeto or harak or get their own house.. Virat had decided long ago that he will stand by heer forever ..so I hope that even if heer objects he stays with her by her side and they show him showering her with love and helping her accept her deformity. Heer doesn’t need to be subjected to torture and hatred by her in laws like soumya did .. and Virat once told preeto that he will take heer far away once his parents get to know about her being a kinnar..so I hope the story takes that turn.. and they made such a big thing of heer getting a job..so I hope they do show us heer getting a job and living an independent working woman’s life 😀Originally posted by: burnnotice

I hope so too but with those uncreative writers , I doubt. About V, let’s see how his character shapes up because today his dad give that grown man a beating and stopped him from going after Heer. That family is cruel. Parmeet is a monster ....her husband no different. And their brat Simran, I wanted to slap her in yesterday’s episode. Poor Rohan, his tolerance level is admirable🙄

virats parents haven’t been able to keep him away from heer in the past so I hope it stays this way. He must go to heer and help her get through the shock. I want to see her whole family shower her with love and help her get through this. Virat should go live with heer at preetos house.. but I have a feeling that this time round they will eventually get Parmeet and sant baksh to accept heer. I didn't quite empathize with Heer yesterday. Her anger for being lied about her gender was justified, but she sounded very pretensious when she asked what is she if she is neither a woman nor a man? Wasn't she the one who was lecturing Virat to respect kinnars and that kinars are even better persons than the rest of us? I didn't expect her to think so little of kinnars. Even in the precap, she breaks the mirror because she thinks that kinnars can't be beautiful, only girls can.
When Saumya found out her truth, I could totally feel her pain. The acting was subtle and in Saumya's eyes I could read all the injustice of the world that was opened up in front of her. On the other hand, Heer has an attitude of "I think kinnars deserves respect, but I am just too good to be a kinnar!"...at least this is how it looked to me. I couldn't even watch most of her grievance, so I've skipped parts of it.
I think it’s to do with their personalities...Heer is a spoilt princess. No doubt there..she’s been protected and pampered..and up until the revelation her life was almost perfect..she had a family who adored her...and a husband who loves her..so her life was great .. there was minor dramas...but overall I think she always got what she wanted,. and she was proud of her looks..and she identified herself as a attractive young woman and boom suddenly it seems like she’s not that beautiful young woman,..she won’t be able to have children or physical intimacy with her husband..and all this was hidden from her by the family she trusted the most .So I think her reaction was very much like what any average regular young woman would feel if she was told she’s not what she thought she was. And also I think to sympathize with other people is easier but then to go through the very same thing yourself is harder as it is you.. So yes she always was kind to kinnars and sympathized with them but obviously she never wanted to be one ..she once told Soham that she’d kill herself if she found out she was a kinnar. With soumya she had a fairly tough life ,.her own father hated her... so maybe as she had faced Hardship in her life she was in pain as it was another blow to her and we viewers felt her pain more strongly.. Heer when with her family always comes across as a pampered girl..becAuse that’s how she was Brought up,..But I did feel sad for her..it must be devastating to know you have this deformity and sadly the way kinnars are viewed in this show ..is inhumane.
