Thanks for asking my friend. I think we bunch here on these threads are keeping things alive since last year as Mysticaldivine is writing since IPK rewind time. Threads don't run by itself. Even if I write, I'm sure a few will come and participate. A thread has 150 plus pages. If you don't mind, look how many of you out there ever came here to even participate. I am not complaining, just stating that running a couple of pages for a thread is not a main purpose. Even now as I am seeing you have a few to rum the treads...no one comes to comment. That sucks the life itself.
I'll not hesitate to admit that I've been a less active member around the forum here. Not specifically for this thread but I was a silent reader overall.
Coming to this particular thread, I don't know why I never came even though I'm in the habit of checking out most threads around the forum. I've read and appreciated Mysticaldivine's work in the past, infact that's how we interacted for the first time. ❤️
I used to hang around the rewind / rewatch thread in the olden days - when the thread was started right after the show ended. There were many in depth analytical posts from writers that I used to wait for. But, there are also various heated debates (more like wars) between people with opposing views that made me slowly stop visiting the rewatch thread. The forum in those times was full of passionate people ready to jump the gun at the drop of a hat so I used to avoid most places where controversies happened and started shifting towards FFs. Was this right or wrong - Who knows? But there was too much negativity around the forum and this was my way to avoid it.
I know things eventually settled down but I somehow never found my way back. I've seen Faiqa's posts related to special occasions and anniversaries but haven't been into the rewind thread.
Coming to the present, it is clear that remaining silent and just pressing likes will not help, there is need for more proactive measures. And this is something not only me, but many others have realized. While members like you who have been always active and around have enough reason to hold a grudge for this late realization on our part, I would say that you can look at this through a positive way that finally people like me will be responding more.
Yes, it needed a crisis to shake us out of our inactive state (maybe we are like Arnav eventually - only realizing the value of something when its about to leave). But if this has a positive impact around the forum and makes it more fun and lively in the coming days, wouldn't that be a good thing for all of us?
I hope you look at this in the same way and come forward to take part in the other activities that we are holding. Since you already have been / are doing your part here, I wouldn't blame you if you dont. But I definitely hope to have further interactions with you, if nothing else than maybe when I start visiting these threads. 😳
Love,
Stuti
