See, this is the problem - they aren't clear with what's intentional and what's an editing goof, and it leaves us to speculate and make stuff up just to line the dots up. 😕

This could be a channel thing to keep the viewers engaged throughout. I can't read hindi so all I see is changing numbers. This started around Navratri episodes. What exactly does it say?

I've been saying it forever about the VFX! Especially in a show like Naagin. If the graphics improve, I think it would do wonders for them in attracting all these different viewers who right now are probably trolling the show (ok, and have a proper story too of course). Heck, I was one of those at some point. Because the vfx are sometimes actually cringe worthy and can be a deal breaker for a few people. Its weird though how Gul & Co have a lot better graphics and editing than a bigger producer like Ekta who I would believe has a bigger budget too.

Oh god. We have to see Veer try to fly to the moon!

@bold - It just says "X hours before"...like, here's the cold open, this is how it happened. This happened for aaaaaaaaaaaagess on Ishqbaaz as well, and it was just as irritating and meaningless there too 🤔 God knows why they do it. Doesn't ramp up any tension whatsoever.

@red - LMAO. Us to Vani: Kya kya karna padta hai hume tum dono ke pyaar mein 🤣

Word on VFX. The only Gul show I've seen is IB so I don't know what that situation is like re: VFX. But overall I would like to have Gul's VFX, and Ekta's Veeranshu, in one show. Coz Gul's heroes are not it 😳. This is going to sound like blasphemy to some...but I'm pretty sure I prefer Veeranshu over Shivaay, though I do like the latter...but Veer ki baat hi alag hai.

I have seen the clips of Gul's supernatural shows on IG. Nazar. And even Jinn. The vfx are definitely better than here although just as awkward in some clips too. I feel like her production has a higher visual value at times. And she has an ace director in Lalit Mohan. Would wanna know how he would have done VaNi scenes . Truly think he would have elevated it.

Watched both Qubool Hai and IB. Gul's editing is on point - usually. Her MLs.... not so much. As much as I love Shivika, I'll have to be as blasphemous as you. Veer over Shivaay. I'd even maybe pick Bani over Annika because the latter would lose her self respect and became kinda .... a doormat at times. Thank goodness Naagin is finite and will never be stetched to that point..

Now all I need is a Veer in my life. *sigh*

Phir Veer was also very weird throughout the date I don't know what everyone else thought but frankly speaking the way he behaved throughout didn't sit well with me. From watching Bani change in the mirror (which is a very Shakura shaitaan thing and something Veer would never do even if Bani had said she wanted to be with him before) to throwing her on the bed. Haan theek hai flirt kro but don't you guys think this was a bit different than how he would normally behave ?

The morning after part was quite cringy for me. I mean obviously none of us were happy watching Veer behave this way and ruining the relationship he has craved throughout. The way he disposed off Bani was a tough part, gave me a glimpse of the early days when he was a thorough playboy. 💔😒

@bold 2 - sometimes, I feel the same re: Annika. I loved her back in the beginning - hands down favourite. But as the show progressed they put her down too often to glorify Shivaay and his "Great Wall-ness". And he constantly told her "This time I'll trust you and tell you everything", and then five minutes later he'd be back to his old thing, and Annika would be left to cry and twist in the wind. And don't get me started on the "social messages" wala track towards the end, where he literally gave her a lecture about what to post on social media 🤔 so yeah, Veer all the way, and I love that Bani doesn't stand for any of his nonsense. Even in today's ep when she was upset, she told him "don't come in here unless you've calmed down", she has a voice that sometimes I felt Annika was not given. And at least so far, Veer hasn't done anything (in his hosh) that Bani needs to become a doormat to tolerate, and like you said it's a finite show and not Kyunki Saas part 2.

Plus, Bani's sarees trump Annika's styling any day, except for like one track midway in the show. IB's stylist was high on something the entire run IMO That's one thing N5 gets right. Thank goodness Veer doesn't have to wear suits with Mickey Mouse patterns on the inside...or covered in giant bees 🤣

Also, and third blasphemy of the night for me 😲😆 at the moment I feel Vani > Shivika 😳

Edit: speaking of visual value tho I do feel that the cinematography has gone down in recent eps. I was re-watching older eps and the visual quality was something else. Even scenes in Vani's bedroom look different, like the lighting is somehow dimmer now. No doubt it's a budget thing but what a shame.

The transition between hypnotized Veer and normal Veer was confusing. When did he turn normal? He came from behind and started blowing off candles😕 kiya yaar Mukta,🤦‍♀️ This made people a bit confuse. Nobody was understanding whether he was a real Veer or not. What I came to understand since Veer was already under the spell, his intense emotions for Bani won’t be full fledge. There will be slight variations because keeping in mind he is half effected while sometimes the flow of hypnosis gets uneven.? Yeah? 🤔

But the sensational romance was soo intense. I was completely engrossed.
