I haven't watch BB14 from the beginning and may have missed some crucial incidents so take my point of view with a grain of salt. From what I have seen, I feel that he's very comfortable in his own skin and doesn't feel the need to "correct" people's opinions about him. The way the opinions are shared in BB is a very derogatory way so it makes sense for someone like him to not engage (which also makes him appear boring). I am curious to know how he would be if a constructive criticism/feedback is given to him by multiple people. I wonder if he is the type to work on himself if that happens.
Another thing I have noticed is that he is overprotective of Rubina (and vice versa). I think in situations where Rubina is fighting with someone, his natural instincts take over and he temporarily forgets about the game and the feedback that Salman gives them about playing solo. Rubina is a very strong girl but sometimes her way of dealing with conflicts is not the right way. She has a lot of potential and will most likely win if nothing too drastic happens, however for as long as he is there as a her support system her potential is never going to be seen and she will never be able to learn from her mistakes, which would be an unfair win since everyone else is putting their best efforts to entertain and be seen (I personally don't agree with this exaggerated type of entertainment but I give them credit for their efforts).
Overall, I don't think the type of entertainment people expect in BB today is made for people like him. He would have been a more suitable contestant in the first couple of seasons.
Btw, I don't dislike anyone, not even Arshi, who does irritate me sometimes, and my likes change every week.
