The episode begins with Vanraj declares that Anupama had accepted Toshu Kinjal marriage ,it was now her responsibility to face the consequences.
Baa and Babuji discuss Toshu Kinjal marriage and the consequences that this family will now have to face. It was not in their capability to calm the disturbed snake Rakhi. Babuji tries to calm Baa but she remains in angry mode, and agrees with Vanraj . Anupamaa will have to be responsible for what every happened.
Baa tells Anupama that until now Anu was a bahu, a mother , a daughter but hence forth she will be a mother in law too. She had to shoulder this new responsibility which was multiplied four fold . Anupama is shocked to learn she was now a MIL. Baa tells her that being a MIL was not an easy task, it was not sitting on the swing the whole day n taunting the bahu, it was a tough job !!! she had to get use to sharing her son with her bahu. She might love the beta bahu like a mother but she will always be considered a MIL only. Her bahu will lay her claims on. Her son and her son will shower all his love n affections on his wife , Anu would have tk watch this all the time n remain quiet for the sake of family . Baa says she knew how tough it was to be a mother n a MIL at the same time.
Anupama takes a while to let this new feeling sink in that she was now a MIL. She bows with reverence before Kanha ji to help her become a good MIL , be like a mother to her beta bahu. Anu gets emotional.
Anu recollects her first moments in this house as she had stepped in as newly wed bahu. Anu wanted to remain a friend to her bahu .
In their room Kinjal and Toshu share with Samar n apakhi their apprehensions. Samar n Pakhi reassure them, their mother was a very loving person. Anupama arrives and reassures she will be like their mother hence forth. She sends Pakhi n Samar out n advises the new,y weds that what ever mistakes they had done by eloping n getting married was wrong but what’s happened in the past can’t be corrected but the future was in their hands , she advises them how to win everyone’s hearts back .
Anupama is in the kitchen preparing breakfast and remembers her days as new bahu in this house and she is elated on getting promoted as MIL and loves the new feeling .
At Dave house Rakhi is fuming as she digs into a chocolate cake n gobbles huge chunks of it , celebrating in a fit of fury her only daughter’s marriage.
kinjal arrrives at the kitchen door n calls out to Anu . Anu receives her with a smile n tells her how 25 yrs back Anu was exactly at the same spot as Kinjal and Baa was where Anu was today. She shares loving bond with Kinjal and gives her advise on how to be a good bahu and responsible wife . This kitchen was not her entire world Anu warns, Kinjal’s world included her studies, her work, her friends , her husband , her likes n dislikes . She should never feel restricted . Anu assures she would find a supportive mother in Her MIL always.
Kinjal is very happy to get a cool MIL like Anu , they hug lovingly . Anu then performs poooja , Aarti , nazar Uttarna of Kinjal, then guides Kinjal to perform chulha poojan , then begins the cooking for the first time .
Anu then prepares the halwa and asks Kinjal to add the sugar n raisins to finish it off and present to everyone as her Peheli rasoi rasam
After Kinjal does this Anu presents Kinjal a pair of kangans. Anu fondly remember show Baa had given these kangans to her on her peheli rasoi and today she was giving it to Kinjal . Kinjal seeks Anu’s blessings . Anu guides Kinjal to serve the halwa to bowls n garnish them . She warns Kinjal not to feel hurt of any member is rude tk ehr or declines her offer . Anu guides her to offer the first bowl to Kanha ji , then to Babuji. Babuji blesses Kinjal n hands her 2000/- rupees. As Kinjal offers bowl of halwa to Baa she berates her n talks of her mother in poorlight . Anu signals Kinjal to remain calm and offer to baa again, Baa vents out at Kinjal against Rakhi’s behaviour .

Anupama advises Toshu n Kinjal that they had committed a mistake, they should say sorry to the entire family. Before doing this they had to say sorry to some one else also.
Anupama accompanies Kinjal to Dave house. Pramod is heard telling Rakhi that their Daughter has come home for the first time after marriage accompanied by their Samdhan they should respect this . Rakhi is furious n vindictive, she refuses to accept anything.
